¹懲罰摩押“耶和華這樣說：‘摩押三番四次犯罪，我必不收回懲罰他的命令；因為他把以東王的骸骨焚燒成灰。

¹Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Moab, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:

²我必降火在摩押，燒毀加略的堡壘；在擾攘、吶喊、吹角聲中，摩押必被消滅。

²but I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth; and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet;

³我必剪除他的掌權者，也把他所有的領袖一同殺死。’這是耶和華說的。

³and I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith Jehovah.

⁴懲罰猶大“耶和華這樣說：‘猶大三番四次犯罪，我必不收回懲罰他的命令；因為他棄絕耶和華的律法，不遵守他的典章；反被他們列祖跟從的偶像，使他們走錯了路。

⁴Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Judah, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have rejected the law of Jehovah, and have not kept his statutes, and their lies have caused them to err, after which their fathers did walk:

⁵我必降火在猶大，燒毀耶路撒冷的堡壘。’

⁵but I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.

⁶懲罰以色列“耶和華這樣說：‘以色列三番四次犯罪，我必不收回懲罰他的命令；因為他為了銀子賣義人，為了一雙鞋賣窮人。

⁶Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Israel, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have sold the righteous for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes-

⁷他們踐踏窮人的頭，好像踐踏地面的塵土；他們把困苦人應有的權益奪去；兒子和父親與同一個女子親近，故意褻瀆我的聖名。

⁷they that pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father go unto the [same] maiden, to profane my holy name:

⁸他們在各祭壇旁，躺臥在別人抵押的衣服上面；在他們　神的殿中，飲用拿剝削回來的錢所買的酒。

⁸and they lay themselves down beside every altar upon clothes taken in pledge; and in the house of their God they drink the wine of such as have been fined.

⁹我不是在他們面前把亞摩利人消滅了嗎？亞摩利人雖像香柏樹高大，像橡樹那樣堅固；我卻要滅絕它樹上的果子，拔除樹下的根。

⁹Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.

¹⁰我不是帶你們出埃及地，領你們在曠野度過四十年，叫你們得著亞摩利人的地為業嗎？

¹⁰Also I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and led you forty years in the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.

¹¹我從你們子孫中興起先知，從年輕人中興起拿細耳人；以色列人哪！這不是事實嗎？’這是耶和華的宣告。

¹¹And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazirites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith Jehovah.

¹²‘但你們迫使拿細耳人喝酒，吩咐先知說：不要說預言。

¹²But ye gave the Nazirites wine to drink, and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.

¹³看哪！我要使你腳下的地搖蕩，好像滿載禾捆的車子搖蕩一樣。

¹³Behold, I will press [you] in your place, as a cart presseth that is full of sheaves.

¹⁴行動迅速的不能逃走，強而有力的不能施展他的勇力，勇士也不能救自己；

¹⁴And flight shall perish from the swift; and the strong shall not strengthen his force; neither shall the mighty deliver himself;

¹⁵拿弓的人站立不住，跑得快的不能逃走，騎馬的也不能救自己。

¹⁵neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver [himself]; neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself;

¹⁶到那日，最勇敢的戰士，也是赤身逃跑。’這是耶和華的宣告。”

¹⁶and he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith Jehovah.
