¹波斯攻擊希臘的預言“瑪代人大利烏王第一年，我曾經起來幫助米迦勒，使他堅強。

¹And as for me, in the first year of Darius the Mede, I stood up to confirm and strengthen him.

²現在我要把真理告訴你。看哪！在波斯還有三個王要興起；第四個王必非常富有，遠超過所有的王；他因富足成為強盛以後，就必煽動眾民攻擊希臘國。

²And now will I show thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and when he is waxed strong through his riches, he shall stir up all against the realm of Greece.

³後來必有一個英勇的王興起，他必執掌大權，任意而行。

³And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.

⁴他興起的時候，他的國就破裂，向天的四方（“四方”原文作“四風”）分開，卻不歸給他的後代，國勢也不及他掌權的時候；因為他的國必被拔出，歸給他後代以外的人。

⁴And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven, but not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion wherewith he ruled; for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others besides these.

⁵南方王與北方王時戰時和“南方的王必強盛，他的將領中必有一個比他更強盛的，這人必掌權，他的權勢很大。

⁵And the king of the south shall be strong, and [one] of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.

⁶過了多年，南方王的女兒必到北方王那裡去修好，他們必互相結盟。但這女子的勢力必存留不住；王和他的勢力也站立不住；她連同那些帶她來的、那生她的，和那幫助她的，都被交出處死。

⁶And at the end of years they shall join themselves together; and the daughter of the king of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the strength of her arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm; but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in those times.

⁷但這女子的本家（“本家”原文作“根”）必另有一個兒子（“兒子”原文作“枝子”）興起，繼承父位；他必來攻擊北方王的軍隊，進入北方王的堡壘，攻打他們，而且得勝。

⁷But out of a shoot from her roots shall one stand up in his place, who shall come unto the army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail.

⁸他又把他們的神像、鑄成的偶像，連同金銀的寶器，都一起擄掠到了埃及去。此後數年之久，他不再去攻擊北方王。

⁸And also their gods, with their molten images, [and] with their goodly vessels of silver and of gold, shall he carry captive into Egypt; and he shall refrain some years from the king of the north.

⁹後來北方王必侵入南方王的國土，然後撤退歸回本國。

⁹And he shall come into the realm of the king of the south, but he shall return into his own land.

¹⁰“北方王的眾子必備戰，招集大軍；這大軍前進，如洪水氾濫，橫掃南方王的國土；之後他又再去爭戰，直到南方王的堡壘。

¹⁰And his sons shall war, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces, which shall come on, and overflow, and pass through; and they shall return and war, even to his fortress.

¹¹南方王必發大怒，出來和北方王交戰；北方王必擺列大軍，但這大軍必交在南方王的手裡。

¹¹And the king of the south shall be moved with anger, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north; and he shall set forth a great multitude, and the multitude shall be given into his hand.

¹²這大軍被掃除以後，南方王就心高氣傲；他雖然使千萬人倒斃，他的勝利卻不能持久。

¹²And the multitude shall be lifted up, and his heart shall be exalted; and he shall cast down tens of thousands, but he shall not prevail.

¹³北方王必再招聚大軍，比先前的更多；時機成熟的時候，他就率領裝備好了的大軍而來。

¹³And the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former; and he shall come on at the end of the times, [even of] years, with a great army and with much substance.

¹⁴“那時，必有許多人起來攻擊南方王，並且你同胞中的強暴人必挺身而起，要使那異象應驗，但他們必失敗。

¹⁴And in those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the children of the violent among thy people shall lift themselves up to establish the vision; but they shall fall.

¹⁵北方王必來，堆土築壘攻取堅固城。南方的軍力必抵擋不住，甚至精銳的部隊也無力抵抗。

¹⁵So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mound, and take a well-fortified city: and the forces of the south shall not stand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to stand.

¹⁶那來攻擊南方王的，必任意而行；沒有人能在他面前站立得住；他必站在那榮美之地，手握毀壞之權。

¹⁶But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him; and he shall stand in the glorious land, and in his hand shall be destruction.

¹⁷他決意傾全國的力量而來，但他先和南方王修好，把自己的女兒給南方王為妻，好毀滅南國；可是他的計劃沒有成功，他自己也得不到甚麼好處。

¹⁷And he shall set his face to come with the strength of his whole kingdom, and with him equitable conditions; and he shall perform them: and he shall give him the daughter of women, to corrupt her; but she shall not stand, neither be for him.

¹⁸後來他必轉向沿海的島嶼，奪取了許多海島。但有一個將領要制止他的驕橫，並且使他的驕橫歸回他身上。

¹⁸After this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many: but a prince shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; yea, moreover, he shall cause his reproach to turn upon him.

¹⁹於是他轉向自己國中的堡壘，終於絆跌仆倒，不再存在了。

¹⁹Then he shall turn his face toward the fortresses of his own land; but he shall stumble and fall, and shall not be found.

²⁰“那時，必有一個人興起來代替他；這人要派一個橫征暴斂的人，為了王國的榮華，走遍全地；可是不多幾日，這人就必被毀滅，不是因為忿怒，也不是因為戰爭。

²⁰Then shall stand up in his place one that shall cause an exactor to pass through the glory of the kingdom; but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.

²¹必另有一個卑鄙的人興起來代替他；雖然人未曾把王國的尊榮給這人，這人卻乘人不備的時候來到，用奉承的話奪得了王國。

²¹And in his place shall stand up a contemptible person, to whom they had not given the honor of the kingdom: but he shall come in time of security, and shall obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

²²必有無數的軍兵在他面前像洪水沖沒，並且潰敗；立約的君也必這樣。

²²And the overwhelming forces shall be overwhelmed from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.

²³他結盟以後，就必行詭詐；他雖然只有少數的國民，卻漸漸強盛起來。

²³And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully; for he shall come up, and shall become strong, with a small people.

²⁴他必乘人不備的時候，侵入省內最富庶的地區，行他列祖和他列祖的祖先所未曾行過的；他把擄掠之物和財物分給自己的部屬；又必設下計謀攻打堡壘，只是這都是暫時的。

²⁴In time of security shall he come even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them prey, and spoil, and substance: yea, he shall devise his devices against the strongholds, even for a time.

²⁵他必竭盡己力，鼓起勇氣，率領大軍攻擊南方王；南方王也必帶領極強大的軍隊奮起還擊，卻抵擋不住，因為有人設下計謀陷害南方王。

²⁵And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall war in battle with an exceeding great and mighty army; but he shall not stand; for they shall devise devices against him.

²⁶那些吃王膳的必毀滅他；他的軍隊必被沖沒，受重傷而倒斃的很多。

²⁶Yea, they that eat of his dainties shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow; and many shall fall down slain.

²⁷至於那兩個王，他們都存心不良；他們同桌吃飯，也彼此說謊；他們的陰謀卻不成功，因為要到了指定的時候，結局才會來到。

²⁷And as for both these kings, their hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table: but it shall not prosper; for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.

²⁸北方王廢棄聖約“北方王必帶著大批財物返回自己的國土去；他的心既然反對聖約，必任意而行，然後返回自己的國土去。

²⁸Then shall he return into his land with great substance; and his heart [shall be] against the holy covenant; and he shall do [his pleasure], and return to his own land.

²⁹“到了指定的時候，他必回來，再侵入南方的王國，不過這次的情況卻不像前一次。

²⁹At the time appointed he shall return, and come into the south; but it shall not be in the latter time as it was in the former.

³⁰因為基提的戰船必來攻擊他，他就喪膽而回；他又惱恨聖約，任意而行；他必回來，聽取那些背棄聖約的人的建議。

³⁰For ships of Kittim shall come against him; therefore he shall be grieved, and shall return, and have indignation against the holy covenant, and shall do [his pleasure]: he shall even return, and have regard unto them that forsake the holy covenant.

³¹他的軍隊必起來，褻瀆聖殿，就是那堡壘，廢除常獻祭，又在殿裡設立了那使地荒涼的可憎的像。

³¹And forces shall stand on his part, and they shall profane the sanctuary, even the fortress, and shall take away the continual [burnt-offering], and they shall set up the abomination that maketh desolate.

³²那些作惡違背聖約的人，他必用奉承的話敗壞他們；但認識　神的人民，必剛強行事。

³²And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he pervert by flatteries; but the people that know their God shall be strong, and do [exploits].

³³民中的智慧人必使許多人明白是非；但他們必有很多日子倒在刀劍之下，或被火燒，或被擄去，或被搶掠。

³³And they that are wise among the people shall instruct many; yet they shall fall by the sword and by flame, by captivity and by spoil, [many] days.

³⁴他們仆倒的時候，必得到一些援助，必有許多人用奉承的話要和他們聯盟。

³⁴Now when they shall fall, they shall be helped with a little help; but many shall join themselves unto them with flatteries.

³⁵智慧人中有些仆倒的，為要鍛煉他們，潔淨他們，使他們成為雪白，直到末了，因為要到了指定的時候，結局才會來到。

³⁵And some of them that are wise shall fall, to refine them, and to purify, and to make them white, even to the time of the end; because it is yet for the time appointed.

³⁶“那王必任意而行，自高自大，超過所有的神，又說一些怪誕的話攻擊萬神之　神。他必行事順利，直到　神的忿怒完畢；因為所定的事必會實現。

³⁶And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods; and he shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished; for that which is determined shall be done.

³⁷他必不尊重他列祖所拜的神，也不尊重婦女所愛慕的神，無論甚麼神他都不尊重，因為他必自大，高過一切。

³⁷Neither shall he regard the gods of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall magnify himself above all.

³⁸他倒要敬拜堡壘的神，用金銀寶石和各樣珍寶去敬拜他列祖所不認識的神。

³⁸But in his place shall he honor the god of fortresses; and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

³⁹他必得著外族神的幫助，攻破堅固的堡壘；凡承認他的，他必使他們大得尊榮，又使他們管轄許多人，並且把土地分給他們作賞賜。

³⁹And he shall deal with the strongest fortresses by the help of a foreign god: whosoever acknowledgeth [him] he will increase with glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for a price.

⁴⁰“到了末期，南方王要和他交戰；北方王必帶著戰車、騎兵和大批戰船，像暴風一般來到他那裡；他必侵入列國，如洪水氾濫，橫掃而過。

⁴⁰And at the time of the end shall the king of the south contend with him; and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass through.

⁴¹他也必侵入那榮美之地；必有許多國傾覆；但那些以東人、摩押人和亞捫人的首領，必被拯救脫離他的手。

⁴¹He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many [countries] shall be overthrown; but these shall be delivered out of his hand: Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

⁴²他必伸手攻擊列國，埃及地也不能逃脫。

⁴²He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries; and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

⁴³他必掌管埃及的金銀寶藏和一切珍寶；呂彼亞人和古實人都必追隨他。

⁴³But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

⁴⁴但從東方和北方必有消息傳來，使他驚惶，他就在烈怒之下出兵，要把許多人殺盡滅絕。

⁴⁴But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him; and he shall go forth with great fury to destroy and utterly to sweep away many.

⁴⁵他必在海和榮美的聖山之間支搭如宮殿一般的帳幕；然而他們的結局來到，必沒有人能幫助他。”

⁴⁵And he shall plant the tents of his palace between the sea and the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.
