¹準繩的異象我又舉目觀看，看見一人手裡拿著量度用的繩子。（本節在《馬索拉抄本》為2:5）

¹And I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand.

²我問他：“你到哪裡去？”他對我說：“我要去量度耶路撒冷，看看有多寬，有多長。”

²Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.

³那與我說話的天使離去的時候，另有一位天使迎著他來，

³And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,

⁴對他說：“你快跑去告訴那年輕人：‘耶路撒冷必有人居住，像沒有城牆規限的田野，因為城中的人和牲畜很多。

⁴and said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as villages without walls, by reason of the multitude of men and cattle therein.

⁵耶和華說：我要作耶路撒冷四圍的火牆和城中的榮耀。’”

⁵For I, saith Jehovah, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and I will be the glory in the midst of her.

⁶呼召人民回歸故土“嗨！嗨！你們要從北方之地逃走（這是耶和華的宣告），因為我過去曾把你們分散在天的四方。”這是耶和華的宣告。

⁶Ho, ho, flee from the land of the north, saith Jehovah; for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heavens, saith Jehovah.

⁷耶和華說：“嗨！與巴比倫的居民同住的錫安的人民哪！逃跑吧！”

⁷Ho Zion, escape, thou that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.

⁸萬軍之耶和華這樣說，得了榮耀之後，他差遣我去攻擊那些劫掠你們的列國，因為凡觸摸你們的，就是觸摸他眼中的瞳人。

⁸For thus saith Jehovah of hosts: After glory hath he sent me unto the nations which plundered you; for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

⁹看哪！我要向他們揮動我的手，他們就必成了自己奴僕的掠物。這樣，你們就知道萬軍之耶和華差遣了我。

⁹For, behold, I will shake my hand over them, and they shall be a spoil to those that served them; and ye shall know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me.

¹⁰“錫安的居民（“居民”原文作“女子”）哪！你們要歡呼快樂，因為我要來住在你們中間。”這是耶和華的宣告。

¹⁰Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion; for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith Jehovah.

¹¹到那日，許多國家要歸附耶和華，作他的（“他的”原文作“我的”）子民，他要（“他要”原文作“我要”）住在你們中間。你們就知道萬軍之耶和華差遣了我到你們那裡去。

¹¹And many nations shall join themselves to Jehovah in that day, and shall be my people; and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that Jehovah of hosts has sent me unto thee.

¹²耶和華必再得著猶大作他在聖地的業分，他必再揀選耶路撒冷。

¹²And Jehovah shall inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.

¹³全人類都當在耶和華面前肅靜，因為他從自己聖潔的居所被激動起來了。

¹³Be silent, all flesh, before Jehovah; for he is waked up out of his holy habitation.
