1瑪拿西作猶大王（王下21:1~9）瑪拿西登基的時候，是十二歲；他在耶路撒冷作王共五十五年。
1Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign; and he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem.
2他行耶和華看為惡的事，隨從耶和華在以色列人面前趕走的列國所行可厭惡的事。
2He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh, after the abominations of the nations whom Yahweh cast out before the children of Israel.
3他重新建造他父親希西家拆毀的邱壇，又為巴力立壇，製造亞舍拉，並且敬拜和事奉天上的萬象。
3For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down; and he reared up altars for the Baals, and made Asheroth, and worshiped all the army of the sky, and served them.
4他又在耶和華的殿中築壇，耶和華曾經指著這殿說：“我的名必永遠留在耶路撒冷。”
4He built altars in the house of Yahweh, of which Yahweh said, “My name shall be in Jerusalem forever.”
5瑪拿西在耶和華殿的兩院中，為天上的萬象築壇，
5He built altars for all the army of the sky in the two courts of the house of Yahweh.
6並且在欣嫩子谷把自己的兒女用火燒為祭，又占卜、行邪術、用法術、交鬼和通靈；作了很多耶和華看為惡的事，惹他發怒。
6He also made his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom; and he practiced sorcery, and used enchantments, and practiced sorcery, and dealt with those who had familiar spirits, and with wizards: he worked much evil in the sight of Yahweh, to provoke him to anger.
7他又把他所做的雕像立在 神的殿中， 神曾經指著這殿，對大衛和他的兒子所羅門說：“我要在這殿裡，和在我從以色列各支派中揀選的耶路撒冷中，立我的名，直到永遠。
7He set the engraved image of the idol, which he had made, in God’s house, of which God said to David and to Solomon his son, “In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name forever:
8只要以色列人謹守遵行我藉著摩西吩咐他們的一切律法、律例和典章，我就決不再使他們的腳離開我賜給他們列祖的地。”
8neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from off the land which I have appointed for your fathers, if only they will observe to do all that I have commanded them, even all the law and the statutes and the ordinances given by Moses.”
9可是瑪拿西卻引誘猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民行惡，比耶和華在以色列人面前除滅的列國更厲害。
9Manasseh seduced Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that they did more evil than the nations whom Yahweh destroyed before the children of Israel did.
10因悖逆而被擄耶和華曾警告瑪拿西和他的人民，他們卻不理會。
10Yahweh spoke to Manasseh, and to his people; but they gave no heed.
11因此耶和華領亞述王的將帥來攻打他們，用鉤子鉤著瑪拿西，用銅鍊鎖住他，把他帶到巴比倫去。
11Therefore Yahweh brought on them the captains of the army of the king of Assyria, who took Manasseh in chains, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.
12因悔改而回歸瑪拿西在急難的時候，就懇求耶和華他的 神，並且在他列祖的 神面前非常謙卑。
12When he was in distress, he begged Yahweh his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers.
13他向耶和華禱告，耶和華應允他的懇求，垂聽他的祈求，使他歸回耶路撒冷，恢復他的王位。瑪拿西這才知道只有耶和華是 神。
13He prayed to him; and he was entreated by him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that Yahweh was God.
14此後，瑪拿西在大衛城外，從谷中的基訓西邊起直到魚門口，建了一道城牆，圍繞著俄斐勒，他把城牆建得很高；又在猶大各設防城裡，派駐軍長。
14Now after this he built an outer wall to the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entrance at the fish gate; and he encircled Ophel with it, and raised it up to a very great height: and he put valiant captains in all the fortified cities of Judah.
15除掉一切偶像又從耶和華的殿中除掉外族人的神和偶像，又把他在耶和華殿的山和在耶路撒冷所築的一切壇，都拋出城外。
15He took away the foreign gods, and the idol out of the house of Yahweh, and all the altars that he had built in the mountain of the house of Yahweh, and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city.
16瑪拿西重修了耶和華的祭壇，在壇上獻上平安祭和感恩祭，又吩咐猶大人事奉耶和華以色列的 神。
16He built up the altar of Yahweh, and offered thereon sacrifices of peace offerings and of thanksgiving, and commanded Judah to serve Yahweh, the God of Israel.
17可是人民仍然在邱壇上獻祭，儘管只向耶和華他們的 神獻祭。
17Nevertheless the people sacrificed still in the high places, but only to Yahweh their God.
18瑪拿西逝世（王下21:17~18）瑪拿西其餘的事蹟，包括他對他的 神的禱告，和那些先見奉耶和華以色列的 神的名向他所說的話，都記在以色列諸王記上。
18Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer to his God, and the words of the seers who spoke to him in the name of Yahweh, the God of Israel, behold, they are written among the acts of the kings of Israel.
19他的禱告， 神怎樣應允他的懇求，他謙卑下來以前的一切罪惡和過犯，以及他在甚麼地方建築邱壇，設立亞舍拉和偶像，都記在何賽的言行錄上。
19His prayer also, and how God was entreated of him, and all his sin and his trespass, and the places in which he built high places, and set up the Asherim and the engraved images, before he humbled himself: behold, they are written in the history of Hozai.
20瑪拿西和他的列祖同睡，埋葬在他的宮中；他的兒子亞們接續他作王。
20So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his own house: and Amon his son reigned in his place.
21亞們作猶大王（王下21:19~26）亞們登基的時候，是二十二歲；他在耶路撒冷作王共兩年。
21Amon was twenty-two years old when he began to reign; and he reigned two years in Jerusalem.
22他行耶和華看為惡的事，像他父親瑪拿西所行的一樣；亞們向他父親瑪拿西所做的一切雕像獻祭，並且事奉它們。
22He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh, as did Manasseh his father; and Amon sacrificed to all the engraved images which Manasseh his father had made, and served them.
23他沒有在耶和華面前謙卑，像他父親瑪拿西謙卑一樣；這亞們所犯的罪過越來越多。
23He didn’t humble himself before Yahweh, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but this same Amon trespassed more and more.
24後來，他的臣僕陰謀造反，在宮中把他殺死了。
24His servants conspired against him, and put him to death in his own house.
25但猶大的人民把所有反叛亞們王的人都擊殺了，並且立他的兒子約西亞接續他作王。
25But the people of the land killed all those who had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his place.
