1逾越節耶和華在埃及地告訴摩西和亞倫說：
1Yahweh spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,
2“你們要以本月為正月，為一年的第一個月。
2“This month shall be to you the beginning of months. It shall be the first month of the year to you.
3你們要告訴以色列全體會眾說：本月初十，他們各人要按著父家取羊羔，一家一隻。
3Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying, ‘On the tenth day of this month, they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to their fathers’ houses, a lamb for a household;
4如果一家的人太少，吃不了一隻羊羔，家長就要和靠近他家的鄰居按著人數共取一隻。你們預備羊羔的時候，要按著各人的食量計算。
4and if the household is too little for a lamb, then he and his neighbor next to his house shall take one according to the number of the souls; according to what everyone can eat you shall make your count for the lamb.
5你們的羊羔要毫無殘疾，一歲以內的公羊；你們可以從綿羊或山羊裡取。
5Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old. You shall take it from the sheep, or from the goats:
6你們要把羊羔留到本月十四日，在黃昏的時候，以色列全體會眾要把羊羔宰殺。
6and you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month; and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at evening.
7他們要取點血，塗在吃羊羔的房屋兩邊的門柱和門楣上。
7They shall take some of the blood, and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel, on the houses in which they shall eat it.
8當那一夜，你們要吃羊羔的肉，肉要用火烤了，和無酵餅與苦菜一同吃，
8They shall eat the flesh in that night, roasted with fire, and unleavened bread. They shall eat it with bitter herbs.
9不可吃生的，也不可用水煮；只可吃用火烤的。頭、腿和內臟都一起吃。
9Don’t eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted with fire; with its head, its legs and its inner parts.
10你們一點也不可留到早晨；如果有一點留到早晨，就要用火燒掉。
10You shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; but that which remains of it until the morning you shall burn with fire.
11你們要這樣吃羊羔：腰間束上帶，腳上穿著鞋，手中拿著杖，快速地吃；這是耶和華的逾越節。
11This is how you shall eat it: with your belt on your waist, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and you shall eat it in haste: it is Yahweh’s Passover.
12因為在那一夜我要走遍埃及地，把埃及地所有頭生的，無論是人或是牲畜，都要殺掉；我也要審判埃及的一切神祇，我是耶和華。
12For I will go through the land of Egypt in that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and animal. Against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am Yahweh.
13這血要在你們居住的房屋上作你們的記號；我擊打埃及地的時候，一看見這血，就越過你們去，災禍必不臨到你們身上毀滅你們。
13The blood shall be to you for a token on the houses where you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and there shall no plague be on you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt.
14這一日必作你們的記念日；你們要守這日為耶和華的節；你們要世世代代守這節日作永遠的定例。
14This day shall be to you for a memorial, and you shall keep it a feast to Yahweh: throughout your generations you shall keep it a feast by an ordinance forever.
15無酵節“你們要吃無酵餅七天；可是第一天就要把酵從你們的家中除去；因為從第一日起直到第七日，凡吃有酵之物的，那人必從以色列中被除滅。
15“‘Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread; even the first day you shall put away yeast out of your houses, for whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
16第一日你們要有聖會，第七日你們也要有聖會；這兩日之內，除了預備各人所要吃的以外，一切工作都不可作。
16In the first day there shall be to you a holy convocation, and in the seventh day a holy convocation; no kind of work shall be done in them, except that which every man must eat, that only may be done by you.
17你們要守無酵節，因為就在這一天，我把你們的軍隊從埃及地領出來；所以你們要世世代代守這一日作為永遠的定例。
17You shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this same day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore you shall observe this day throughout your generations by an ordinance forever.
18從正月十四日晚上起，直到本月二十一日晚上止，你們要吃無酵餅。
18In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at evening, you shall eat unleavened bread, until the twenty first day of the month at evening.
19七日之內在你們的家中不可有酵；因為凡吃有酵之物的，無論是外國人或是本地人，那人必從以色列的會眾中被剪除。
19There shall be no yeast found in your houses for seven days, for whoever eats that which is leavened, that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a foreigner, or one who is born in the land.
20凡是有酵的，你們都不可吃；在你們一切居住的地方，你們都要吃無酵餅。”
20You shall eat nothing leavened. In all your habitations you shall eat unleavened bread.’”
21逾越節的禮儀於是，摩西把以色列的眾長老召了來，對他們說：“你們要按著家族自己選取羊羔，把這逾越節的羊羔宰殺了。
21Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said to them, “Draw out, and take lambs according to your families, and kill the Passover.
22要拿一把牛膝草，蘸在盆中的血裡，然後把盆裡的血塗在門楣上和兩邊的門柱上；你們誰也不可出自己的房門，直到早晨。
22You shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning.
23因為耶和華要走遍各處擊打埃及人；他一看見門楣和兩邊的門柱上有血，就越過那門，不讓那毀滅者進入你們的房屋來擊殺你們。
23For Yahweh will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when he sees the blood on the lintel, and on the two doorposts, Yahweh will pass over the door, and will not allow the destroyer to come in to your houses to strike you.
24這教訓你們必須遵守，作為你和你的子孫永遠的定例。
24You shall observe this thing for an ordinance to you and to your sons forever.
25日後，你們進了耶和華應許賜給你們的那地的時候，就必須守這敬拜之禮。
25It shall happen when you have come to the land which Yahweh will give you, according as he has promised, that you shall keep this service.
26日後，如果你們的子孫問你們：‘你們這敬拜之禮有甚麼意思？’
26It will happen, when your children ask you, ‘What do you mean by this service?’
27你們就要回答：‘這是獻給耶和華逾越節的祭。耶和華擊殺埃及人的時候，越過了在埃及的以色列人的房屋，救了我們的家。’”於是人民低頭敬拜。
27that you shall say, ‘It is the sacrifice of Yahweh’s Passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he struck the Egyptians, and spared our houses.’” The people bowed their heads and worshiped.
28以色列人就去行了；耶和華怎樣吩咐摩西和亞倫，以色列人就照樣行了。
28The children of Israel went and did so; as Yahweh had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.
29殺掉頭生到了半夜，耶和華把埃及地所有的長子，就是從坐王位的法老的長子，直到監牢裡遭囚禁的人的長子，以及所有頭生的牲畜，都擊殺了。
29It happened at midnight, that Yahweh struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of livestock.
30在那一夜，法老本人和他所有的臣僕，以及全埃及的人都起來了；在埃及有極大的哀號，因為沒有一家不死人的。
30Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt, for there was not a house where there was not one dead.
31夜裡，法老把摩西和亞倫召了來，說：“你們和以色列人都起來，離開我的人民出去，照著你們所說的，去事奉耶和華吧；
31He called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, “Rise up, get out from among my people, both you and the children of Israel; and go, serve Yahweh, as you have said!
32也照著你們所說的，連羊群牛群都帶著走吧，並且要為我祝福。”
32Take both your flocks and your herds, as you have said, and be gone; and bless me also!”
33埃及人催促以色列人，要他們趕快離開此地，因為他們說：“我們都要死了。”
33The Egyptians were urgent with the people, to send them out of the land in haste, for they said, “We are all dead men.”
34以色列人就拿了沒有發過酵的生麵，用衣服把摶麵盆綁好，扛在肩頭上。
34The people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneading troughs being bound up in their clothes on their shoulders.
35以色列人照著摩西的話行了，他們向埃及人索取銀器金器和衣服。
35The children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they asked of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and clothing.
36耶和華使以色列人在埃及人眼前蒙恩，埃及人就給了他們所要求的。這樣，他們就奪去了埃及人的財物。
36Yahweh gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have what they asked. They despoiled the Egyptians.
37以色列人出埃及以色列人從蘭塞起行到疏割去，除了小孩子以外，步行的男人約有六十萬。
37The children of Israel traveled from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot who were men, besides children.
38又有混雜多族的一群人和他們一同上去；他們還帶著羊群牛群和無數的牲畜同去。
38A mixed multitude went up also with them, with flocks, herds, and even very much livestock.
39他們把從埃及帶出來的生麵烘成了無酵的圓餅。這生麵原是沒有發過酵的，因為他們被驅逐離開埃及，所以不能停留，也沒有為自己預備食糧。
39They baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought out of Egypt; for it wasn’t leavened, because they were thrust out of Egypt, and couldn’t wait, neither had they prepared for themselves any food.
40以色列人住在埃及的時間共有四百三十年之久。
40Now the time that the children of Israel lived in Egypt was four hundred thirty years.
41就在四百三十年屆滿的那一天，耶和華的全軍都從埃及地出來了。
41It happened at the end of four hundred thirty years, even the same day it happened, that all the armies of Yahweh went out from the land of Egypt.
42這是向耶和華守的一夜，因為耶和華把他們從埃及地領出來，所以這一夜是所有以色列人世世代代向耶和華守的一夜。
42It is a night to be much observed to Yahweh for bringing them out from the land of Egypt. This is that night of Yahweh, to be much observed of all the children of Israel throughout their generations.
43逾越節條例耶和華對摩西和亞倫說：“逾越節的定例是這樣，凡是外族人都不可以吃羊羔的肉。
43Yahweh said to Moses and Aaron, “This is the ordinance of the Passover. No foreigner shall eat of it,
44但是各人用銀子買回來的奴僕，如果你給他行了割禮，他就可以吃了。
44but every man’s servant who is bought for money, when you have circumcised him, then shall he eat of it.
45寄居和受雇的都不可以吃。
45A foreigner and a hired servant shall not eat of it.
46必須在同一間房子裡吃，你不可把一點肉從房子裡帶到外面；羊羔的骨頭，一根也不可折斷。
46In one house shall it be eaten; you shall not carry out anything of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall you break a bone of it.
47以色列全體會眾都要守這逾越節。
47All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.
48如果有外族人寄居在你們中間，也願向耶和華守逾越節，他所有的男子都要受割禮，然後他才可以前來守逾越節；他就必像本地人一樣，但所有未受割禮的人都不可以吃這羊羔。
48When a stranger shall live as a foreigner with you, and will keep the Passover to Yahweh, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one who is born in the land: but no uncircumcised person shall eat of it.
49本地人和寄居在你們中間的外族人，都同屬一例。”
49One law shall be to him who is born at home, and to the stranger who lives as a foreigner among you.”
50所有以色列人都奉行了；耶和華怎樣吩咐摩西和亞倫，他們就怎樣行了。
50All the children of Israel did so. As Yahweh commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.
51就在這一天，耶和華按著他們的軍隊，把以色列人從埃及地領出來。
51It happened the same day, that Yahweh brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.
