1瘟疫之災耶和華對摩西說：“你要到法老那裡去，對他說：‘耶和華希伯來人的 神這樣說：“讓我的人民離開這裡，使他們可以事奉我。”
1Then Yahweh said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh, and tell him, ‘This is what Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, says: “Let my people go, that they may serve me.
2如果你拒絕他們離開這裡，仍然強留他們，
2For if you refuse to let them go, and hold them still,
3看哪，耶和華的手必用嚴重的瘟疫加在你田間的牲畜身上，加在馬、驢、駱駝、牛群、羊群身上。
3behold, the hand of Yahweh is on your livestock which are in the field, on the horses, on the donkeys, on the camels, on the herds, and on the flocks with a very grievous pestilence.
4耶和華必把以色列的牲畜和埃及人的牲畜分別出來；所有屬於以色列人的，一隻也不死去。’”
4Yahweh will make a distinction between the livestock of Israel and the livestock of Egypt; and nothing shall die of all that belongs to the children of Israel.”’”
5耶和華就定了時候，說：“明天耶和華必在此地行這事。”
5Yahweh appointed a set time, saying, “Tomorrow Yahweh shall do this thing in the land.”
6第二天，耶和華就行了這事，埃及人全部的牲畜都死了；可是屬於以色列人的牲畜，一隻也沒有死去。
6Yahweh did that thing on the next day; and all the livestock of Egypt died, but of the livestock of the children of Israel, not one died.
7法老派人去看，果然看見屬於以色列人的牲畜，連一隻也沒有死去。法老的心還是剛硬，不肯讓以色列人離開。
7Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not so much as one of the livestock of the Israelites dead. But the heart of Pharaoh was stubborn, and he didn’t let the people go.
8瘡災耶和華對摩西和亞倫說：“你們要兩手拿滿爐灰，摩西要在法老眼前把爐灰向天上揚起來。
8Yahweh said to Moses and to Aaron, “Take to you handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it toward the sky in the sight of Pharaoh.
9這爐灰必在埃及全地變為微塵，在埃及全地的人和牲畜身上就必生出疹病和膿瘡。”
9It shall become small dust over all the land of Egypt, and shall be a boil breaking out with boils on man and on animal, throughout all the land of Egypt.”
10摩西和亞倫取了爐灰，站在法老面前；摩西把爐灰向天上揚起來，人和牲畜身上就生出了疹病和膿瘡。
10They took ashes of the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it up toward the sky; and it became a boil breaking out with boils on man and on animal.
11眾術士因為生了瘡的緣故，不能站在摩西的面前；因為眾術士和所有埃及人身上都生了瘡。
11The magicians couldn’t stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boils were on the magicians, and on all the Egyptians.
12耶和華使法老心裡剛硬，他就不肯聽摩西和亞倫的話，就像耶和華對摩西所說的。
12Yahweh hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he didn’t listen to them, as Yahweh had spoken to Moses.
13耶和華對摩西說：“你要清早起來，站在法老面前，對他說：‘耶和華希伯來人的 神這樣說：“讓我的人民離開這裡，使他們可以事奉我。
13Yahweh said to Moses, “Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and tell him, ‘This is what Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, says: “Let my people go, that they may serve me.
14因為這一次我要降下我的一切災禍，打擊你和你的臣僕及人民，為要使你知道在全地上沒有神像我的。
14For this time I will send all my plagues against your heart, against your officials, and against your people; that you may know that there is none like me in all the earth.
15如果我現在伸手用瘟疫擊打你和你的人民，你就早已從地上消滅了。
15For now I would have stretched out my hand, and struck you and your people with pestilence, and you would have been cut off from the earth;
16然而我使你存留，是為了使你看見我的能力，並且在全地上傳講我的名。
16but indeed for this cause I have made you stand: to show you my power, and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth;
17你仍然向我的人民自高，不讓他們離開嗎？
17as you still exalt yourself against my people, that you won’t let them go.
18看哪，明天大約這個時候，我必降下極重的冰雹，在埃及自建國以來，直到現在，未曾有過這樣的冰雹的。
18Behold, tomorrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as has not been in Egypt since the day it was founded even until now.
19所以，你現在要派人去，把你的牲畜和田間所有屬於你的，都收聚到安全的地方；因為凡在田間發現的人和牲畜而不收回家裡去的，冰雹必落在他們身上，他們就必死亡。”’”
19Now therefore command that all of your livestock and all that you have in the field be brought into shelter. Every man and animal that is found in the field, and isn’t brought home, the hail shall come down on them, and they shall die.”’”
20法老的臣僕中有懼怕耶和華這話的，就叫他的僕人和牲畜進屋裡來。
20Those who feared the word of Yahweh among the servants of Pharaoh made their servants and their livestock flee into the houses.
21但那不把耶和華這話放在心上的，卻把他的僕人和牲畜留在田裡。
21Whoever didn’t respect the word of Yahweh left his servants and his livestock in the field.
22雹災耶和華對摩西說：“你要向天伸杖，使埃及全地都有冰雹，落在人身上、在牲畜身上和埃及地田間所有的蔬菜上。”
22Yahweh said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward the sky, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, on man, and on animal, and on every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.”
23摩西把手杖向天一伸，耶和華就打雷（“打雷”原文作“ 神的聲音”）下雹，有火落在地上；耶和華使冰雹降在埃及地上。
23Moses stretched out his rod toward the heavens, and Yahweh sent thunder, hail, and lightning flashed down to the earth. Yahweh rained hail on the land of Egypt.
24那時有了冰雹，冰雹與火混雜在一起，十分嚴重；埃及全地自從建國以來，未曾有過這樣的冰雹。
24So there was very severe hail, and lightning mixed with the hail, such as had not been in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.
25在埃及全地，冰雹把田間的一切，連人和牲畜都擊打了；冰雹又把田間的一切蔬菜擊打了，也把田間的一切樹木打斷了。
25The hail struck throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and animal; and the hail struck every herb of the field, and broke every tree of the field.
26只有在以色列人所在的歌珊地，沒有冰雹。
26Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, there was no hail.
27於是，法老把摩西和亞倫召了來，對他們說：“這一次我犯了罪了；耶和華是公義的，我和我的人民是有罪的。
27Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said to them, “I have sinned this time. Yahweh is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.
28請你們祈求耶和華吧，因為這雷聲和冰雹已經夠了；我決意讓你們離開，你們不可再留在這裡。”
28Pray to Yahweh; for there has been enough of mighty thunderings and hail. I will let you go, and you shall stay no longer.”
29摩西回答法老：“我一出城，就必向耶和華伸手禱告，雷聲就必止住，也不再有冰雹了，好使你知道大地是屬於耶和華的。
29Moses said to him, “As soon as I have gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands to Yahweh. The thunders shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that you may know that the earth is Yahweh’s.
30至於你和你的臣僕，我知道你們在耶和華 神的面前還是沒有懼怕的心。”
30But as for you and your servants, I know that you don’t yet fear Yahweh God.”
31那時，麻和大麥被冰雹擊打了，因為大麥已經吐穗，麻也開了花。
31The flax and the barley were struck, for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was in bloom.
32只是小麥和粗麥卻沒有被擊打，因為它們還沒有長成。
32But the wheat and the spelt were not struck, for they had not grown up.
33摩西離開法老出城去了，就向耶和華伸手禱告，雷聲和冰雹就止住了，雨也不再傾倒在地上了。
33Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread abroad his hands to Yahweh; and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured on the earth.
34法老看見雨水、冰雹和雷聲都止住了，就更加犯罪，他和他的臣僕都心裡剛硬。
34When Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders were ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.
35法老的心剛硬，不肯讓以色列人離開，就像耶和華藉著摩西所說的。
35The heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he didn’t let the children of Israel go, just as Yahweh had spoken through Moses.
