1肉鍋的比喻第九年十月十日，耶和華的話又臨到我說：
1Again, in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
2“人子啊！你要記下今天的日子，因為巴比倫王就是在這一天圍困耶路撒冷。
2Son of man, write the name of the day, even of this same day: the king of Babylon drew close to Jerusalem this same day.
3你要向這叛逆的民族設比喻，對他們說：‘主耶和華這樣說：把鍋放在火上，放好了，就把水倒在鍋裡；
3Utter a parable to the rebellious house, and tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh, Set on the caldron, set it on, and also pour water into it:
4把肉塊，就是所有肥美的肉塊，腿肉和肩肉，都放進鍋裡；用上好的骨頭把鍋裝滿。
4gather its pieces into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones.
5要選用羊群中最好的，把柴堆放在鍋底下，使鍋沸騰，把骨頭煮在鍋中。
5Take the choice of the flock, and also a pile of wood for the bones under the caldron; make it boil well; yes, let its bones be boiled in its midst.
6預言耶路撒冷必遭毀滅“‘因此，主耶和華這樣說：流人血的城，就是長鏽的鍋，有禍了！它的鏽未曾除掉，要把鍋裡的東西一塊一塊取出來，不必為它們抽籤。
6Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the bloody city, to the caldron whose rust is therein, and whose rust is not gone out of it! take out of it piece after piece; No lot is fallen on it.
7因為她所流的血還在城中；她把血潑在光滑的磐石上，不是倒在地上，被塵土掩蓋。
7For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it on the bare rock; she didn’t pour it on the ground, to cover it with dust.
8我為了發烈怒，好施行報應，就把她的血倒在光滑的磐石上，以致不得掩蓋。
8That it may cause wrath to come up to take vengeance, I have set her blood on the bare rock, that it should not be covered.
9因此，主耶和華這樣說：流人血的城，有禍了！我也必把柴堆加大。
9Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.
10你要多加柴枝，點上火，混和香料，把肉煮爛，使骨頭燒焦；
10Heap on the wood, make the fire hot, boil well the flesh, and make thick the broth, and let the bones be burned.
11然後把空鍋放在炭火上，使鍋燒熱，使銅燒紅，使其中的污穢熔化，使它的鏽得以除淨。
11Then set it empty on its coals, that it may be hot, and its brass may burn, and that its filthiness may be molten in it, that its rust may be consumed.
12這鍋真叫人疲累！它厚厚的鏽總沒法除掉，就是用火也不能除掉。
12She has wearied herself with toil; yet her great rust doesn’t go forth out of her; her rust doesn’t go forth by fire.
13你的污穢就是淫蕩。我想要潔淨你，你卻不願意潔淨，所以你的污穢再不能得到潔淨，直等到我向你發的烈怒止息。
13In your filthiness is lewdness: because I have cleansed you and you weren’t cleansed, you shall not be cleansed from your filthiness any more, until I have caused my wrath toward you to rest.
14我耶和華已經說了。時候到了，我必成就；我必不退縮，必不顧惜，也不改變心意；我必照著你的所作所為審判你。這是主耶和華的宣告。’”
14I, Yahweh, have spoken it: it shall happen, and I will do it: I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to your ways, and according to your doings, shall they judge you, says the Lord Yahweh.
15妻死勿哀的比喻耶和華的話又臨到我說：
15Also the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
16“人子啊！我要打擊你，把你眼中所喜愛的奪去，你卻不可悲哀，不可哭泣，也不可流淚。
16Son of man, behold, I will take away from you the desire of your eyes with a stroke: yet you shall neither mourn nor weep, neither shall your tears run down.
17只可靜默地歎息，不可為死人哀悼；你的頭上仍要纏著頭巾，腳上仍要穿著鞋子；你不可蒙著臉，也不可吃為喪家預備的食物。”
17Sigh, but not aloud, make no mourning for the dead; bind your headdress on you, and put your shoes on your feet, and don’t cover your lips, and don’t eat men’s bread.
18於是我在早上對眾人說了這事，晚上我的妻子就死了；次日早晨我就照著所吩咐我的行了。
18So I spoke to the people in the morning; and at even my wife died; and I did in the morning as I was commanded.
19眾人問我：“你不告訴我們你這樣行與我們有甚麼關係嗎？”
19The people said to me, Won’t you tell us what these things are to us, that you do so?
20我回答他們：“耶和華的話臨到我說：
20Then I said to them, The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
21‘你要告訴以色列家，主耶和華這樣說：看哪！我必使我的聖所被褻瀆，這聖所就是你們所誇耀的勢力，眼所喜愛的，心中所愛惜的。你們遺下的兒女，都必倒在刀下。
21Speak to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the pride of your power, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pities; and your sons and your daughters whom you have left behind shall fall by the sword.
22那時你們要照著我所行的去行；你們不可蒙著臉，也不可吃為喪家預備的食物。
22You shall do as I have done: you shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men.
23你們的頭上仍要纏著頭巾，腳上仍要穿著鞋子；你們不可悲哀，不可哭泣；但你們必因自己的罪孽相對歎息，衰弱而死。
23Your tires shall be on your heads, and your shoes on your feet: you shall not mourn nor weep; but you shall pine away in your iniquities, and moan one toward another.
24以西結必成為你們的一個兆頭；凡他所行的，將來你們也要照樣行。這事來到，你們就知道我是主耶和華。’
24Thus Ezekiel shall be a sign to you; according to all that he has done, you will do. When this comes, then you will know that I am the Lord Yahweh.
25“人子啊！我從他們中間奪去他們的堡壘、他們所喜歡的榮耀、他們眼所喜愛的、心所崇尚的和他們的兒女的時候，
25You, son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their heart, their sons and their daughters,
26豈沒有逃脫的人來到你那裡，使你聽見這事嗎？
26that in that day he who escapes shall come to you, to cause you to hear it with your ears?
27那時，你要向逃脫的人開口說話，不再作啞巴。你必成為他們的一個兆頭。他們就知道我是耶和華。”
27In that day your mouth will be opened to him who has escaped, and you shall speak, and be no more mute: so you will be a sign to them; and they shall know that I am Yahweh.
