1將埃及地賜給巴比倫王第十年十月十二日，耶和華的話臨到我說：
1In the tenth year, in the tenth month, on the twelfth day of the month, the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
2“人子啊！你要面向埃及王法老，說預言攻擊他和埃及全地。
2“Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him and against all Egypt.
3你要說：‘主耶和華這樣說：埃及王法老啊！我要與你為敵，你這臥在自己河中的大海怪，你曾經說過：“這河是我的，是我自己造的。”
3Speak and say, ‘Thus says the Lord Yahweh: “Behold, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great monster that lies in the midst of his rivers, that has said, ‘My river is my own, and I have made it for myself.’
4但我耶和華必用鉤子鉤住你的腮頰，使你河中的魚都緊貼著你的鱗甲，我必把你和你河中所有緊貼著你的鱗甲的魚，都從你河中拉上來。
4I will put hooks in your jaws, and I will make the fish of your rivers stick to your scales; and I will bring you up out of the midst of your rivers, with all the fish of your rivers which stick to your scales.
5我必把你和你河中所有的魚，都丟在曠野；你必倒在田間，無人收殮，無人埋葬。我已經把你給了地上的走獸和空中的飛鳥作食物。
5I’ll cast you forth into the wilderness, you and all the fish of your rivers. You’ll fall on the open field. You won’t be brought together, nor gathered. I have given you for food to the animals of the earth and to the birds of the sky.
6埃及所有的居民就都知道我是耶和華。因為你作了以色列家蘆葦的杖。
6All the inhabitants of Egypt will know that I am Yahweh, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.
7他們用手抓住你的時候，你就斷裂，傷了他們的肩頭；他們倚靠你，你就折斷、扭傷了他們的腰。
7When they took hold of you by your hand, you broke, and tore all their shoulders; and when they leaned on you, you broke, and paralyzed all of their thighs.”
8因此，主耶和華這樣說：看哪！我必使刀劍攻擊你，把人和牲畜都從你那裡剪除。
8Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: “Behold, I will bring a sword on you, and will cut off man and animal from you.
9埃及地必荒涼廢棄，人就知道我是耶和華。“‘因為法老曾說：“這河是我的，是我自己做的。”
9The land of Egypt shall be a desolation and a waste; and they shall know that I am Yahweh. Because he has said, ‘The river is mine, and I have made it;’
10所以我必與你和你的河為敵；我必使埃及地，從密奪到色弗尼，直到古實邊界，都全然荒涼廢棄。
10therefore, behold, I am against you, and against your rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt an utter waste and desolation, from the tower of Seveneh even to the border of Ethiopia.
11人的腳必不經過那裡，獸的蹄也不經過那裡；四十年之久，無人居住。
11No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of animal shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years.
12我必使埃及成為荒地中的荒地，四十年之久，它的城必成為廢城中的廢城。我必把埃及人分散到列邦，四散在各地。
12I will make the land of Egypt a desolation in the midst of the countries that are desolate; and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be a desolation forty years; and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.”
13“‘主耶和華這樣說：滿了四十年，我必把埃及人從他們所分散到的萬族中招聚回來。
13For thus says the Lord Yahweh: “At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the peoples where they were scattered;
14我必使埃及被擄的人歸回，使他們歸回自己根源之地巴忒羅，在那裡他們必成為低微的國。
14and I will bring back the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their birth; and they shall be there a base kingdom.
15這國必成為列國中最低微的，也必不能再攀到列國之上；我必使他們弱小，以致他們不能再管轄列國。
15It shall be the base of the kingdoms; neither shall it any more lift itself up above the nations: and I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.
16埃及必不再作以色列家的倚靠；每逢以色列家轉去仰賴埃及人的時候，他們就想起自己的罪孽。這樣，他們就知道我是主耶和華。’”
16It shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, bringing iniquity to memory, when they turn to look after them: and they shall know that I am the Lord Yahweh.”’”
17二十七年正月初一日，耶和華的話臨到我說：
17It came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
18“人子啊！巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒使他的軍兵千辛萬苦攻打推羅，以致各人都頭禿肩破；但是他和他的軍兵攻打推羅所付出的辛勞，並沒有從那裡得到甚麼報酬。
18Son of man, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyre: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was worn; yet had he no wages, nor his army, from Tyre, for the service that he had served against it.
19因此，主耶和華這樣說：看哪！我必把埃及地賜給巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，他把埃及的財富帶走，搶其中的財為擄物，奪其中的貨為掠物，作他軍兵的報酬。
19Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will give the land of Egypt to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and he shall carry off her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.
20我把埃及地賜給他，作辛勞的報酬，因為他們都是為我效力的。這是主耶和華的宣告。
20I have given him the land of Egypt as his recompense for which he served, because they worked for me, says the Lord Yahweh.
21到了那天，我必使以色列家的角生出來，我也必使你以西結在他們中間開口。他們就知道我是耶和華。”
21In that day will I cause a horn to bud forth to the house of Israel, and I will give you the opening of the mouth in their midst; and they shall know that I am Yahweh.
