1彌賽亞及他的國度從耶西的樹幹必生出一根嫩芽，從他的根而出的枝條必結果子。
1A shoot will come out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots will bear fruit.
2耶和華的靈必停留在他身上，就是智慧的靈和聰明的靈，謀略的靈和能力的靈，知識的靈和敬畏耶和華的靈。
2The Spirit of Yahweh will rest on him: the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Yahweh.
3他必以敬畏耶和華為樂。他不憑眼睛所見的施行審判，也不憑耳朵所聽的斷定是非；
3His delight will be in the fear of Yahweh. He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears;
4卻要以公義審判貧窮人，以正直判斷地上的困苦人；以口中的杖擊打世界，以嘴裡的氣殺死惡人。
4but with righteousness he will judge the poor, and decide with equity for the humble of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips he will kill the wicked.
5公義必作他腰間的帶子，信實必作他脅下的帶子。
5Righteousness will be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his waist.
6豺狼必與綿羊羔同住，豹子要與山羊羔同臥，牛犢、幼獅和肥畜必同群；小孩子要牽引牠們。
6The wolf will live with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat; The calf, the young lion, and the fattened calf together; and a little child will lead them.
7牛必與母熊一同吃食，牛犢必與小熊一起躺臥；獅子就像牛一般吃草。
7The cow and the bear will graze. Their young ones will lie down together. The lion will eat straw like the ox.
8吃奶的嬰兒必在虺蛇的洞口玩耍，斷奶的孩子必放他的手在毒蛇的穴上。
8The nursing child will play near a cobra’s hole, and the weaned child will put his hand on the viper’s den.
9在我整個聖山上面，這一切都不行傷害或毀滅之事；因為認識耶和華的知識要充滿大地，好像海水覆蓋海洋一般。
9They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth will be full of the knowledge of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea.
10預言被擄的人回歸到那日，耶西的根必豎立起來，作萬族的旗幟；列國的人必尋求他，他安息之所必大有榮耀。
10It will happen in that day that the nations will seek the root of Jesse, who stands as a banner of the peoples; and his resting place will be glorious.
11到那日，主必再用自己的手，贖回他子民中的餘民，就是從亞述、埃及、巴忒羅、古實、以攔、示拿和哈馬，以及眾海島所剩下的。
11It will happen in that day that the Lord will set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
12他必向列國豎起旗幟，召聚以色列被擄去的人，又從地的四方聚集分散了的猶大人。
12He will set up a banner for the nations, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
13以法蓮的嫉妒必消除，那敵視猶大的必被剪除；以法蓮必不再嫉妒猶大，猶大也必不再敵視以法蓮。
13The envy also of Ephraim will depart, and those who persecute Judah will be cut off. Ephraim won’t envy Judah, and Judah won’t persecute Ephraim.
14他們要向西飛，撲在非利士人的山麓上，一起擄掠東方人；他們必把手伸到以東和摩押之上，亞捫人必順服他們。
14They will fly down on the shoulders of the Philistines on the west. Together they will plunder the children of the east. They will extend their power over Edom and Moab, and the children of Ammon will obey them.
15耶和華必使埃及的海灣乾涸；他要用熱風在大河之上揮手，他要擊打它，使它分成七道支流，使人走過去也不會把鞋弄濕。
15Yahweh will utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his scorching wind he will wave his hand over the River, and will split it into seven streams, and cause men to march over in sandals.
16為著 神的餘民，就是那些在亞述剩下歸回的，必有一條大路給他們歸回，正如以色列人從埃及地上來的日子一樣。
16There will be a highway for the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, like there was for Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.
