1 神必眷顧以色列人但是，雅各啊！那創造你的耶和華，以色列啊！那塑造你的主，現在這樣說：“不要懼怕，因為我救贖了你；我按著你的名呼召了你；你是屬我的。
1But now thus says Yahweh who created you, Jacob, and he who formed you, Israel: “Don’t be afraid, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine.
2你從水中經過的時候，我必與你同在；你渡過江河的時候，水必不淹沒你；你從火中行走的時候，必不會燒傷；火燄也不會在你身上燒起來。
2When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you.
3因為我是耶和華你的 神，是以色列的聖者，你的拯救者；我使埃及作你的贖價，使古實和示巴作你的替身。
3For I am Yahweh your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I have given Egypt as your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place.
4因為你在我眼中非常寶貴和貴重，所以我愛你；我使別人作你的替身，同別的民族交換你的性命。
4Since you have been precious and honored in my sight, and I have loved you; therefore I will give people in your place, and nations instead of your life.
5你不要懼怕，因為我與你同在；我必把你的後裔從東方領回來，又從西方招聚你。
5Don’t be afraid; for I am with you. I will bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west.
6我要對北方說：‘把他們交出來！’又對南方說：‘不要拘留他們！’要把我的眾子從遠方帶回來，把我的女兒從地極領回來，
6I will tell the north, ‘Give them up!’ and tell the south, ‘Don’t hold them back! Bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth—
7就是所有按著我的名被召的人，是我為自己的榮耀創造的，是我所塑造，所作成的。”
7everyone who is called by my name, and whom I have created for my glory, whom I have formed, yes, whom I have made.’”
8你要把那些有眼卻看不見，有耳卻聽不到的人民領出來。
8Bring out the blind people who have eyes, and the deaf who have ears.
9列國都聚集在一起，萬族都集合起來，他們中間誰能說明這事呢？誰能把先前的事說給我們聽呢？讓他們帶出自己的見證人來，好顯明自己為義；讓別人聽見了，就說：“這是真的。”
9Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the peoples be assembled. Who among them can declare this, and show us former things? Let them bring their witnesses, that they may be justified; or let them hear, and say, “That is true.”
10耶和華說：“你們就是我的見證人，我所揀選的僕人，為要使你們知道，並且相信我，又明白我就是‘那位’；在我以前沒有神被造出來，在我以後也必沒有。
10“You are my witnesses,” says Yahweh, “With my servant whom I have chosen; that you may know and believe me, and understand that I am he. Before me there was no God formed, neither will there be after me.
11唯有我是耶和華；除我以外，並沒有拯救者。
11I myself am Yahweh; and besides me there is no savior.
12我曾預告，我曾拯救，我曾說給你們聽，在你們中間沒有別的神。”耶和華說：“你們是我的見證人，我就是 神。
12I have declared, I have saved, and I have shown; and there was no strange god among you. Therefore you are my witnesses,” says Yahweh, “and I am God.
13自頭一天以來，我就是‘那位’；誰也不能救人脫離我的手；我要行事，誰能攔阻呢？”
13Yes, since the day was I am he; and there is no one who can deliver out of my hand. I will work, and who can hinder it?”
14預言巴比倫毀滅你們的救贖主、以色列的聖者、耶和華這樣說：“因為你們的緣故，我已經派人到巴比倫去，我要使所有的迦勒底人都像難民一樣下來，都坐在他們素來自誇的船下來。
14Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “For your sake, I have sent to Babylon, and I will bring all of them down as fugitives, even the Chaldeans, in the ships of their rejoicing.
15我就是耶和華，你們的聖者，是以色列的創造主、你們的王。”
15I am Yahweh, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.”
16耶和華這樣說：他在海中開了一條道，在大水中闢了一條路；
16Thus says Yahweh, who makes a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;
17他使戰車、馬匹、軍兵和勇士都一同出來，他們都躺下去，不能再起來；他們都滅沒，好像燈火熄滅一樣。
17who brings forth the chariot and horse, the army and the mighty man (they lie down together, they shall not rise; they are extinct, they are quenched like a wick):
18“你們不要懷念先前的事，也不要思念古時的事。
18“Don’t remember the former things, and don’t consider the things of old.
19 神作一件新事“看哪！我要作一件新的事；現在它要發生了，難道你們還不知道嗎？我要在曠野開一條道路，在荒地開挖江河。
19Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs forth now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
20野地的走獸必尊重我，野狗和鴕鳥也必這樣，因為我使曠野有水，使荒地有江河，好使我揀選的子民有水喝，
20The animals of the field shall honor me, the jackals and the ostriches; because I give water in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen,
21就是我為自己所造的子民，好使他們述說讚美我的話。
21the people which I formed for myself, that they might set forth my praise.
22然而，雅各啊！你並沒有呼求我。以色列啊！你竟厭煩我。
22Yet you have not called on me, Jacob; but you have been weary of me, Israel.
23作燔祭用的羊，你沒有帶來給我；也沒有用你的祭物來尊敬我；我沒有因獻供物使你勞累；也沒有因獻乳香使你厭煩。
23You have not brought me of your sheep for burnt offerings; neither have you honored me with your sacrifices. I have not burdened you with offerings, nor wearied you with frankincense.
24你沒有用銀子為我買菖蒲，也沒有用祭物的脂肪使我飽足；相反地，你用你的罪使我勞累，你用你的罪孽使我厭煩。
24You have bought me no sweet cane with money, nor have you filled me with the fat of your sacrifices; but you have burdened me with your sins. You have wearied me with your iniquities.
25 神赦罪之恩“唯有我為自己的緣故，塗抹你的過犯，我也不再記念你的罪。
25I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake; and I will not remember your sins.
26你可以提醒我，我們可以一起辯論；你儘管細說案情，好使你自顯為義。
26Put me in remembrance. Let us plead together. Set forth your case, that you may be justified.
27你的祖先犯了罪，你的代表背叛了我。
27Your first father sinned, and your teachers have transgressed against me.
28所以我要辱沒聖所裡的領袖，使雅各遭受毀滅，使以色列被凌辱。”
28Therefore I will profane the princes of the sanctuary; and I will make Jacob a curse, and Israel an insult.”
