1耶和華掌管歷史雅各家，就是被稱為以色列的，從猶大的水源出來的，指著耶和華的名起誓，卻不是出於誠實和公義，提說以色列的 神的啊！你們要聽這話。
1“Hear this, house of Jacob, you who are called by the name of Israel, and have come forth out of the waters of Judah; who swear by the name of Yahweh, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness
2他們被稱為聖城的人，又倚靠以色列的 神；他的名字是萬軍之耶和華。
2(for they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves on the God of Israel; Yahweh of Armies is his name):
3主說：“先前的事，我從古時就預言過了，已經從我的口裡說出來了，又說給人聽了；我忽然行事，事情就都成就了。
3I have declared the former things from of old; yes, they went forth out of my mouth, and I showed them: suddenly I did them, and they happened.
4因為我知道你是頑固的，你的頸項是鐵的，你的額是銅的，
4Because I knew that you are obstinate, and your neck is an iron sinew, and your brow brass;
5所以我從古時就告訴了你；在事情還沒有發生以前，我就說給你聽了，免得你說：‘這些事是我的偶像所作的，是我的雕像和鑄像所命定的。’
5therefore I have declared it to you from of old; before it came to pass I showed it to you; lest you should say, ‘My idol has done them, and my engraved image, and my molten image, has commanded them.’
6你已經聽見了，現在要注意這一切事。難道你不述說嗎？從今以後，我要把新的事，就是你不知道的隱祕的事，告訴你。
6You have heard it; see all this; and you, will you not declare it? “I have shown you new things from this time, even hidden things, which you have not known.
7這些事是現在才造成的，並不是從古時就有的；在今天以前，你還未曾聽見過，免得你說：‘看哪！這些事我早已知道了。’
7They are created now, and not from of old; and before this day you didn’t hear them; lest you should say, ‘Behold, I knew them.’
8你從來沒有聽過，也不知道；你的耳朵從來未曾開通。我原知道你行事非常詭詐；你自出母胎以來，就被稱為叛徒。
8Yes, you didn’t hear; yes, you didn’t know; yes, from of old your ear was not opened: for I knew that you dealt very treacherously, and was called a transgressor from the womb.
9為了我的名的緣故，我暫時不發怒；為了我的名譽的緣故，我向你忍耐；不把你剪除。
9For my name’s sake will I defer my anger, and for my praise will I refrain for you, that I not cut you off.
10看哪！我熬煉了你，卻不像熬煉銀子；你在苦難的爐中，我揀選了你。
10Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have chosen you in the furnace of affliction.
11為了我自己的緣故，我必作這事。我的名怎能被褻瀆呢？我必不把我的榮耀歸給別人。
11For my own sake, for my own sake, will I do it; for how should my name be profaned? I will not give my glory to another.
12古列的使命“雅各，我所呼召的以色列啊！你要聽我的話。我就是‘那位’，我是首先的，也是末後的。
12“Listen to me, O Jacob, and Israel my called: I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.
13我的手奠定了大地的根基，我的右手展開了諸天；我一呼喚它們，它們就一同站著侍候。
13Yes, my hand has laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand has spread out the heavens: when I call to them, they stand up together.
14列國啊！你們都要集合起來聽。他們中間有誰預言過這些事呢？耶和華愛他，他必向巴比倫行他所喜悅的；他的膀臂也必擊打迦勒底人。
14“Assemble yourselves, all you, and hear; who among them has declared these things? He whom Yahweh loves shall perform his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans.
15我親自說過，又呼召了他；我帶領了他來，他所行的就必亨通。
15I, even I, have spoken; yes, I have called him; I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous.
16你們要就近我，當聽這話：‘從起初我就沒有在隱密處說過話，自從有這事情的存在，我就在那裡。’現在主耶和華差遣了我和他的靈。
16“Come near to me and hear this: “From the beginning I have not spoken in secret; from the time that it was, there am I.” Now the Lord Yahweh has sent me, with his Spirit.
17耶和華你的救贖主，以色列的聖者，這樣說：‘我是耶和華你的 神，是教導你，使你得益處的，是在你當行的道路上引導你的。
17Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am Yahweh your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go.
18但願你一向都留心聽從我的命令，這樣你的平安就像河水滔滔，你的公義就如海浪滾滾；
18Oh that you had listened to my commandments! then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea:
19你的後裔必像海沙那麼多，你腹中的子孫要如沙粒這樣多；他們的名字必不會被剪除，也不會從我面前消滅。
19your seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of your body like its grains: his name would not be cut off nor destroyed from before me.
20 神的子民脫離巴比倫“你們要從巴比倫出來，從迦勒底人中逃出來，你們要用歡呼的聲音宣告，把這事說給人聽，你們要把這事宣揚出去，直到地極，說：‘耶和華救贖了他的僕人雅各了。’
20Go forth from Babylon, flee from the Chaldeans; with a voice of singing declare, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth: say, Yahweh has redeemed his servant Jacob.
21耶和華領他們走過荒野的時候，他們並不乾渴；他為他們使水從磐石流出來。他裂開磐石，水就湧出來。
21They didn’t thirst when he led them through the deserts; he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them; he split the rock also, and the waters gushed out.
22耶和華說：‘惡人沒有平安。’”
22“There is no peace,” says Yahweh, “for the wicked.”
