¹再審判巴比倫耶和華這樣說：“看哪！我必激動毀滅者的心，去攻擊巴比倫和住在立加米的人。

¹Thus says Yahweh: Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against those who dwell in Lebkamai, a destroying wind.

²我必打發外族人去巴比倫簸揚它，揚淨它的地；在它遭禍的日子，他們必從四圍攻擊它。

²I will send to Babylon strangers, who shall winnow her; and they shall empty her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her around.

³不要容拉弓的拉他的弓，也不要容戰士穿上盔甲站起來；不要顧惜巴比倫的年輕人，要把它的全軍滅絕。

³Against him who bends let the archer bend his bow, and against him who lifts himself up in his coat of mail: and don’t spare her young men; utterly destroy all her army.

⁴它的全軍必在迦勒底人的地被殺倒下，在它的街道上被刺死。”

⁴They shall fall down slain in the land of the Chaldeans, and thrust through in her streets.

⁵雖然以色列和猶大境內（“以色列和猶大境內”或譯：“巴比倫境內”）充滿了違背以色列聖者的罪惡，以色列和猶大卻不會被他們的　神萬軍之耶和華遺棄。

⁵For Israel is not forsaken, nor Judah, of his God, of Yahweh of Armies; though their land is full of guilt against the Holy One of Israel.

⁶你仍要從巴比倫境內逃出來，各自逃命！不要因它的罪孽滅亡；因為這是耶和華報復的時候，他必向巴比倫施行應得的報應。

⁶Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and save every man his life; don’t be cut off in her iniquity: for it is the time of Yahweh’s vengeance; he will render to her a recompense.

⁷巴比倫曾是耶和華手中的金杯，使全地都喝醉；列國喝了它的酒，就都瘋狂亂性。

⁷Babylon has been a golden cup in Yahweh’s hand, who made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunk of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.

⁸巴比倫必突然傾覆毀滅，你們要為它哀號！拿乳香來消除它的痛楚，也許可以治好它。

⁸Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: wail for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.

⁹我們本想醫治巴比倫，但它沒有治好。我們離開它，各歸本地去吧！因為它的刑罰極大，上達於天，直到雲霄。

⁹We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go everyone into his own country; for her judgment reaches to heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.

¹⁰耶和華已為我們伸冤；來吧！我們要在錫安宣揚耶和華我們　神的作為。

¹⁰Yahweh has brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of Yahweh our God.

¹¹你們要磨尖箭頭，拿起盾牌（“拿起盾牌”《七十士譯本》譯作“裝滿箭袋”）；耶和華定意要毀滅巴比倫，所以激動瑪代諸王的心；這是耶和華的報復，就是為他的殿而施行的報復。

¹¹Make sharp the arrows; hold firm the shields: Yahweh has stirred up the spirit of the kings of the Medes; because his purpose is against Babylon, to destroy it: for it is the vengeance of Yahweh, the vengeance of his temple.

¹²你們要豎起旗幟，攻擊巴比倫的城牆，並要加強防衛，設立防哨，布下埋伏；因為耶和華不但定意，也必作成他攻擊巴比倫居民的話。

¹²Set up a standard against the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set the watchmen, prepare the ambushes; for Yahweh has both purposed and done that which he spoke concerning the inhabitants of Babylon.

¹³你這住在眾水旁，多有財寶的啊！你的結局到了，你被剪除的時刻到了。

¹³You who dwell on many waters, abundant in treasures, your end has come, the measure of your covetousness.

¹⁴萬軍之耶和華指著自己起誓，說：“我必使敵人充滿你，像蝗蟲一樣布滿你的全地，他們必對你發出勝利的吶喊。”

¹⁴Yahweh of Armies has sworn by himself, saying, Surely I will fill you with men, as with the canker worm; and they shall lift up a shout against you.

¹⁵耶和華用自己的能力創造了大地，用自己的智慧堅立了世界，又用自己的聰明展開了諸天。

¹⁵He has made the earth by his power, he has established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding has he stretched out the heavens:

¹⁶他一發聲，空中諸水就澎湃；他使雲霧從地極上騰；他造了閃電和雷雨，又使風從他的倉庫裡吹出來。

¹⁶when he utters his voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, and he causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he makes lightning for the rain, and brings forth the wind out of his treasuries.

¹⁷人人都是頑梗無知；所有的金匠都因偶像羞愧，因為他們鑄造的像都是虛假，沒有氣息。

¹⁷Every man has become brutish without knowledge. Every goldsmith is disappointed by his image; for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

¹⁸偶像都是虛無的，是荒謬可笑的作品；到了討罪的時候，它們必被除滅。

¹⁸They are vanity, a work of delusion: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

¹⁹那作雅各產業的並不像這些偶像，因為他是萬物的創造者；以色列是屬他的民族，萬軍之耶和華是他的名。

¹⁹The portion of Jacob is not like these; for he is the former of all things; and is the tribe of his inheritance: Yahweh of Armies is his name.

²⁰耶和華說：“你是我的鐵鎚，作我的兵器；我用你們打碎列國，用你毀滅萬邦。

²⁰You are my battle axe and weapons of war: and with you will I break in pieces the nations; and with you will I destroy kingdoms;

²¹我用你打碎戰馬和騎馬的，用你打碎戰車和坐戰車的。

²¹and with you will I break in pieces the horse and his rider;

²²我用你打碎男人和婦女，用你打碎老年人和少年人，用你打碎少男和少女。

²²and with you will I break in pieces the chariot and him who rides therein; and with you will I break in pieces man and woman; and with you will I break in pieces the old man and the youth; and with you will I break in pieces the young man and the virgin;

²³我用你打碎牧人和他的羊群，用你打碎農夫和他的耕牛，用你打碎省長和總監。

²³and with you will I break in pieces the shepherd and his flock; and with you will I break in pieces the farmer and his yoke; and with you will I break in pieces governors and deputies.

²⁴“但我必在你們眼前報復巴比倫和迦勒底所有的居民在錫安所作的一切惡事。”這是耶和華的宣告。

²⁴I will render to Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight, says Yahweh.

²⁵“行毀滅的山哪，就是毀滅全地的山哪！我要和你作對，我要伸手攻擊你，使你從山巖上滾下來，使你成為燒毀了的山。”這是耶和華的宣告。

²⁵Behold, I am against you, destroying mountain, says Yahweh, which destroys all the earth; and I will stretch out my hand on you, and roll you down from the rocks, and will make you a burnt mountain.

²⁶“人必不從你那裡取石頭作房角石，也不從你那裡取石頭作基石，因為你必永遠荒涼。”這是耶和華的宣告。

²⁶They shall not take of you a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; but you shall be desolate for ever, says Yahweh.

²⁷“你們要在地上豎起旗幟，在列國中吹號角，使列國作好準備攻擊巴比倫，把亞拉臘、米尼、亞實基拿等國召來攻擊她，又指派元帥來攻擊她，使馬匹像蝗蟲洶湧上來。

²⁷Set up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare the nations against her, call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashkenaz: appoint a marshal against her; cause the horses to come up as the rough canker worm.

²⁸你們要使列國作好準備攻擊她，使瑪代諸王，和她的省長、總監，以及他們轄下各地的人民都作好準備攻擊她。

²⁸Prepare against her the nations, the kings of the Medes, its governors, and all its deputies, and all the land of their dominion.

²⁹大地震動翻騰，因為耶和華攻擊巴比倫所定的旨意立定不移，要使巴比倫的地荒涼，沒有人居住。

²⁹The land trembles and is in pain; for the purposes of Yahweh against Babylon do stand, to make the land of Babylon a desolation, without inhabitant.

³⁰巴比倫的勇士停止作戰，留在堡壘裡面；他們的勇士消退，變成像婦人一樣軟弱。巴比倫的房屋被火焚燒，她的門閂都被折斷。

³⁰The mighty men of Babylon have forborne to fight, they remain in their strongholds; their might has failed; they are become as women: her dwelling places are set on fire; her bars are broken.

³¹驛卒一個接一個跑來，報信的也相繼而至，向巴比倫王報告，他的京城已經完全被攻取了。

³¹One runner will run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to show the king of Babylon that his city is taken on every quarter:

³²渡口已經被佔據了，生滿蘆葦的沼澤也被火燒了，軍兵都驚慌失措。”

³²and the passages are seized, and the reeds they have burned with fire, and the men of war are frightened.

³³因為萬軍之耶和華以色列的　神這樣說：“巴比倫城（“城”原文作“女子”）好像正被踹平的禾場，再過片時，她被收割的時候就到了。”

³³For thus says Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel: The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time when it is trodden; yet a little while, and the time of harvest shall come for her.

³⁴以色列人說：“巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒吞滅了我們，使我們十分混亂，又使我們成為空的器皿；他像怪獸把我們吞下，他的肚塞滿了我們的美物，他卻把我們吐出去。”

³⁴Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon has devoured me, he has crushed me, he has made me an empty vessel, he has, like a monster, swallowed me up, he has filled his maw with my delicacies; he has cast me out.

³⁵錫安的居民要說：“願巴比倫以強暴待我們（“我們”或譯：“我和我骨肉之親”）的罪歸到巴比倫身上。”耶路撒冷要說：“願流我血的罪歸到迦勒底的居民身上。”

³⁵The violence done to me and to my flesh be on Babylon, shall the inhabitant of Zion say; and, My blood be on the inhabitants of Chaldea, shall Jerusalem say.

³⁶因此，耶和華這樣說：“看哪！我必為你的案件申訴，為你報仇；我必使巴比倫的河水枯竭，使它們的水源乾涸。

³⁶Therefore thus says Yahweh: Behold, I will plead your cause, and take vengeance for you; and I will dry up her sea, and make her fountain dry.

³⁷巴比倫必變成亂堆，成為野狗的巢穴，成為令人驚駭和嗤笑的對象，沒有人居住。

³⁷Babylon shall become heaps, a dwelling place for jackals, an astonishment, and a hissing, without inhabitant.

³⁸巴比倫人必像少壯獅子一起吼叫，又像幼獅咆哮。

³⁸They shall roar together like young lions; they shall growl as lions’ cubs.

³⁹他們食慾大動的時候，我必為他們擺設筵席，使他們喝醉，狂歡亂叫，然後永遠沉睡，不再醒來（這是耶和華的宣告）。

³⁹When they are heated, I will make their feast, and I will make them drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, says Yahweh.

⁴⁰我必使他們像羊羔，像公綿羊和公山羊一樣下到屠宰之地。

⁴⁰I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams with male goats.

⁴¹示沙克怎麼竟被攻取！全地所稱讚的怎麼竟被佔領！巴比倫在列國中怎麼竟成了令人驚駭的對象！

⁴¹How is Sheshach taken! and the praise of the whole earth seized! how is Babylon become a desolation among the nations!

⁴²大海上漲漫過巴比倫，它被洶湧的波浪淹沒。

⁴²The sea has come up on Babylon; she is covered with the multitude of its waves.

⁴³它的城鎮變為荒涼，成為乾旱的地和沙漠，沒有人住在裡面，也沒有人經過。

⁴³Her cities are become a desolation, a dry land, and a desert, a land in which no man dwells, neither does any son of man pass thereby.

⁴⁴我必懲罰巴比倫的彼勒，使它從口中吐出它所吞噬的；列國必不再歸附它，巴比倫的城牆也倒塌了。

⁴⁴I will execute judgment on Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he has swallowed up; and the nations shall not flow any more to him: yes, the wall of Babylon shall fall.

⁴⁵我的子民哪！你們要從它那裡出來，各自逃命，躲避耶和華的烈怒。

⁴⁵My people, go away from the midst of her, and save yourselves every man from the fierce anger of Yahweh.

⁴⁶你們不要心驚膽怯，也不要因在境內聽到的謠言懼怕；因為今年有謠言傳來，明年也會有謠言傳來，境內有強暴的事，官長互相攻擊。

⁴⁶Don’t let your heart faint, neither fear for the news that shall be heard in the land; for news shall come one year, and after that in another year shall come news, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler.

⁴⁷因此，你看，日子快到，我必懲罰巴比倫的偶像；巴比倫全地都必蒙羞，所有被刺殺的人都必倒在境內。

⁴⁷Therefore behold, the days come, that I will execute judgment on the engraved images of Babylon; and her whole land shall be confounded; and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.

⁴⁸那時天地和其中的一切，都必因巴比倫的傾覆歡呼，因為行毀滅的要從北方來攻擊她。”這是耶和華的宣告。

⁴⁸Then the heavens and the earth, and all that is therein, shall sing for joy over Babylon; for the destroyers shall come to her from the north, says Yahweh.

⁴⁹“巴比倫必因以色列被刺殺的人而倒下，就如全地被刺殺的人因巴比倫而倒下。

⁴⁹As Babylon has caused the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon shall fall the slain of all the land.

⁵⁰那些已逃脫了刀劍的人哪！走吧！不要站著，要從遠方記念耶和華，心中惦念耶路撒冷。

⁵⁰You who have escaped the sword, go, don’t stand still; remember Yahweh from afar, and let Jerusalem come into your mind.

⁵¹我們因聽見辱罵而蒙羞，滿面慚愧；因為外族人進入了耶和華殿的聖所。

⁵¹We are confounded, because we have heard reproach; confusion has covered our faces: for strangers have come into the sanctuaries of Yahweh’s house.

⁵²因此，看哪！日子快到，這是耶和華的宣告。我必懲罰巴比倫的偶像，在巴比倫全境到處都有被刺傷的人在唉哼。

⁵²Therefore behold, the days come, says Yahweh, that I will execute judgment on her engraved images; and through all her land the wounded shall groan.

⁵³即使巴比倫升到天上，即使它在高處建造難以進侵的堡壘，但必有行毀滅的從我這裡去攻擊它。”這是耶和華的宣告。

⁵³Though Babylon should mount up to the sky, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, yet from me shall destroyers come to her, says Yahweh.

⁵⁴“聽啊！有哀號的聲音從巴比倫傳出，有大毀滅的聲音從迦勒底人的地發出。

⁵⁴The sound of a cry from Babylon, and of great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans!

⁵⁵因為耶和華正在毀滅巴比倫，使城中喧鬧的聲音滅絕。敵軍好像洪水，波浪澎湃，發出吶喊的聲音。

⁵⁵For Yahweh lays Babylon waste, and destroys out of her the great voice; and their waves roar like many waters; the noise of their voice is uttered:

⁵⁶因為有一位行毀滅的來攻擊巴比倫，巴比倫的勇士被擒住，他們的弓弩折斷了，因為耶和華是報應的　神，他必報復巴比倫。

⁵⁶for the destroyer has come on her, even on Babylon, and her mighty men are taken, their bows are broken in pieces; for Yahweh is a God of recompenses, he will surely requite.

⁵⁷我必使巴比倫的領袖和智慧人，省長、總監和勇士都喝醉，永遠沉睡，不再醒來。”這是君王的宣告，萬軍之耶和華是他的名。

⁵⁷I will make drunk her princes and her wise men, her governors and her deputies, and her mighty men; and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake up, says the King, whose name is Yahweh of Armies.

⁵⁸萬軍之耶和華這樣說：“巴比倫寬闊的城牆必被夷為平地，它高大的城門必被焚燒；萬民所勞碌的都必成空，萬族所辛勞的都付諸一炬。”

⁵⁸Thus says Yahweh of Armies: The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly overthrown, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; and the peoples shall labor for vanity, and the nations for the fire; and they shall be weary.

⁵⁹耶利米的預言傳到巴比倫猶大王西底家執政的第四年，瑪西雅的孫子、尼利亞的兒子西萊雅和王同去巴比倫的時候，耶利米先知有話吩咐西萊雅，他是掌管住宿事務的官員。

⁵⁹The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah to Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. Now Seraiah was chief quartermaster.

⁶⁰耶利米把一切將要臨到巴比倫的災禍，就是這一切論到巴比倫的話，都寫在一卷書上。

⁶⁰Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come on Babylon, even all these words that are written concerning Babylon.

⁶¹耶利米對西萊雅說：“你到了巴比倫以後，一定要宣讀這一切話，

⁶¹Jeremiah said to Seraiah, When you come to Babylon, then see that you read all these words,

⁶²然後你要說：‘耶和華啊！論到這地方，你曾經親自說過要把它剪除，使這地永遠荒涼，沒有人畜居住。’

⁶²and say, Yahweh, you have spoken concerning this place, to cut it off, that none shall dwell therein, neither man nor animal, but that it shall be desolate forever.

⁶³你宣讀完這書卷以後，要把一塊石頭和書拴在一起，丟進幼發拉底河裡，

⁶³It shall be, when you have made an end of reading this book, that you shall bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of the Euphrates:

⁶⁴然後說：‘巴比倫必因耶和華（“耶和華”原文作“我”）所要降給它的災禍，照樣沉下去，不再浮上來；它的人民也必滅沒。’”耶利米的話到此為止。

⁶⁴and you shall say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise again because of the evil that I will bring on her; and they shall be weary. Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.
