¹耶穌受試探（太4:1~11；可1:12~13）耶穌被聖靈充滿，從約旦河回來，聖靈引他到曠野，四十天受魔鬼的試探。

¹Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness

²那些日子他甚麼也沒有吃，日子滿了他就餓了。

²for forty days, being tempted by the devil. He ate nothing in those days. Afterward, when they were completed, he was hungry.

³魔鬼對他說：“你若是　神的兒子，就吩咐這塊石頭變成食物吧！”

³The devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.”

⁴耶穌回答：“經上記著：‘人活著不是單靠食物。’”

⁴Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’” Deuteronomy 8:3

⁵魔鬼引他上到高處，霎時間把天下萬國指給他看，

⁵The devil, leading him up on a high mountain, showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

⁶對他說：“這一切權柄、榮華，我都可以給你；因為這些都交給了我，我願意給誰就給誰。

⁶The devil said to him, “I will give you all this authority, and their glory, for it has been delivered to me; and I give it to whomever I want.

⁷所以，只要你在我面前拜一拜，這一切就全是你的了。”

⁷If you therefore will worship before me, it will all be yours.”

⁸耶穌回答：“經上記著：‘當拜主你的　神，單要事奉他。’”

⁸Jesus answered him, “Get behind me Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him only.’” Deuteronomy 6:13

⁹魔鬼又引他到耶路撒冷，叫他站在殿頂上，對他說：“你若是　神的兒子，就從這裡跳下去吧！

⁹He led him to Jerusalem, and set him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, cast yourself down from here,

¹⁰因為經上記著：‘他為了你，會吩咐自己的使者保護你。’

¹⁰for it is written, ‘He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you;’

¹¹又記著：‘用手托住你，免得你的腳碰到石頭。’”

¹¹and, ‘On their hands they will bear you up, lest perhaps you dash your foot against a stone.’” Psalm 91:11-12

¹²耶穌回答：“經上說：‘不可試探主你的　神。’”

¹²Jesus answering, said to him, “It has been said, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’” Deuteronomy 6:16

¹³魔鬼用盡了各種試探，就暫時離開了耶穌。

¹³When the devil had completed every temptation, he departed from him until another time.

¹⁴在加利利傳道（太4:12~17；可1:14~15）耶穌帶著聖靈的能力，回到加利利。他的名聲傳遍了周圍各地。

¹⁴Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee, and news about him spread through all the surrounding area.

¹⁵他在各會堂裡教導人，很受眾人的尊崇。

¹⁵He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.

¹⁶在本鄉遭人厭棄（太13:53~58；可6:1~6）耶穌來到拿撒勒自己長大的地方，照著習慣在安息日進入會堂，站起來要讀經。

¹⁶He came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. He entered, as was his custom, into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.

¹⁷有人把以賽亞先知的書遞給他，他展開書卷找到一處，上面寫著：

¹⁷The book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. He opened the book, and found the place where it was written,

¹⁸“主的靈在我身上，因為他膏我去傳福音給貧窮的人，差遣我去宣告被擄的得釋放，瞎眼的得看見，受壓制的得自由，

¹⁸ “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, NU omits “to heal the brokenhearted” to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed,

¹⁹又宣告主悅納人的禧年。”

¹⁹ and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Isaiah 61:1-2

²⁰他把書卷捲好，交還侍役，就坐下。會堂裡眾人都注視他。

²⁰He closed the book, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of all in the synagogue were fastened on him.

²¹他就對他們說：“這段經文今天應驗在你們中間（“中間”原文作“耳中”）了。”

²¹He began to tell them, “Today, this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”

²²眾人稱讚他，希奇他口中所出的恩言，並且說：“這不是約瑟的兒子嗎？”

²²All testified about him, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth, and they said, “Isn’t this Joseph’s son?”

²³他說：“你們必向我說這俗語：‘醫生，治好你自己吧！’也必說：‘我們聽見你在迦百農所行的一切事，也該在你本鄉這裡行啊！’”

²³He said to them, “Doubtless you will tell me this parable, ‘Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we have heard done at Capernaum, do also here in your hometown.’”

²⁴他又說：“我實在告訴你們，沒有先知在他本鄉是受歡迎的。

²⁴He said, “Most certainly I tell you, no prophet is acceptable in his hometown.

²⁵我對你們說實話，當以利亞的時候，三年六個月不下雨（“不下雨”原文作“天閉塞”），遍地大起饑荒，那時以色列中有許多寡婦，

²⁵ But truly I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the sky was shut up three years and six months, when a great famine came over all the land.

²⁶以利亞沒有奉差遣往他們中間任何一個那裡去，只到西頓撒勒法的一個寡婦那裡。

²⁶ Elijah was sent to none of them, except to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow.

²⁷以利沙先知的時候，以色列中有許多患痲風的人，其中除了敘利亞的乃縵，沒有一個得潔淨的。”

²⁷ There were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed, except Naaman, the Syrian.”

²⁸會堂裡的眾人聽見這話，都怒氣填胸，

²⁸They were all filled with wrath in the synagogue, as they heard these things.

²⁹起來趕他出城（這城原來建在山上），他們拉他到山崖，要把他推下去。

²⁹They rose up, threw him out of the city, and led him to the brow of the hill that their city was built on, that they might throw him off the cliff.

³⁰耶穌卻從他們中間走過，就離去了。

³⁰But he, passing through their midst, went his way.

³¹在迦百農趕出污靈（可1:21~28）耶穌下到加利利的迦百農城，在安息日教導人。

³¹He came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee. He was teaching them on the Sabbath day,

³²他們對他的教訓都很驚奇，因為他的話帶著權柄。

³²and they were astonished at his teaching, for his word was with authority.

³³會堂裡有一個被污鬼附著的人，大聲喊叫：

³³In the synagogue there was a man who had a spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out with a loud voice,

³⁴“哎！拿撒勒人耶穌，我們跟你有甚麼關係呢？你來毀滅我們嗎？我知道你是誰，你是　神的聖者。”

³⁴saying, “Ah! what have we to do with you, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know you who you are: the Holy One of God!”

³⁵耶穌斥責他說：“住口！從他身上出來！”鬼把那人摔倒在眾人中間，就從他身上出來了，沒有傷害他。

³⁵Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent, and come out of him!” When the demon had thrown him down in their midst, he came out of him, having done him no harm.

³⁶眾人都驚駭，彼此談論說：“這是怎麼回事？他用權柄能力吩咐污靈，污靈竟出來了。”

³⁶Amazement came on all, and they spoke together, one with another, saying, “What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”

³⁷耶穌的名聲，傳遍了周圍各地。

³⁷News about him went out into every place of the surrounding region.

³⁸治病趕鬼（太8:14~17；可1:29~34）他起身離開會堂，進入西門的家。西門的岳母正在發高熱，他們為她求耶穌。

³⁸He rose up from the synagogue, and entered into Simon’s house. Simon’s mother-in-law was afflicted with a great fever, and they begged him for her.

³⁹耶穌站在她旁邊，斥責那熱病，熱就退了；她立刻起身服事他們。

³⁹He stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her. Immediately she rose up and served them.

⁴⁰日落的時候，不論害甚麼病的人，都被帶到耶穌那裡；他一一為他們按手，醫好他們。

⁴⁰When the sun was setting, all those who had any sick with various diseases brought them to him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.

⁴¹又有鬼從好些人身上出來，喊著說：“你是　神的兒子。”耶穌斥責他們，不許他們說話，因為他們知道他是基督。

⁴¹Demons also came out from many, crying out, and saying, “You are the Christ, the Son of God!” Rebuking them, he didn’t allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ.

⁴²往別的城傳道（可1:35~39）天一亮，耶穌出來，到曠野地方去。眾人尋找他，一直找到他那裡，要留住他，不要他離開他們。

⁴²When it was day, he departed and went into an uninhabited place, and the multitudes looked for him, and came to him, and held on to him, so that he wouldn’t go away from them.

⁴³他卻說：“我也必須到別的城去傳　神國的福音，因為我是為了這緣故奉差遣的。”

⁴³But he said to them, “I must preach the good news of the Kingdom of God to the other cities also. For this reason I have been sent.”

⁴⁴於是他往猶太的各會堂去傳道。

⁴⁴He was preaching in the synagogues of Galilee.
