¹不可因傳統廢棄　神的誡命（可7:1~23）有法利賽人和經學家從耶路撒冷前來，問耶穌：

¹Then Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus from Jerusalem, saying,

²“你的門徒為甚麼違背古人的傳統，在飯前不洗手呢？”

²“Why do your disciples disobey the tradition of the elders? For they don’t wash their hands when they eat bread.”

³耶穌回答：“你們又為甚麼因你們的傳統，違背　神的誡命呢？

³He answered them, “Why do you also disobey the commandment of God because of your tradition?

⁴　神說：‘當孝敬父母’，又說：‘咒罵父母的必被處死’。

⁴ For God commanded, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ Exodus 20:12; Deuteronomy 5:16 and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.’ Exodus 21:17; Leviticus 20:9

⁵你們卻說：‘人若對父母說：“我應該給你們的，已經作了獻給　神的禮物”，

⁵ But you say, ‘Whoever may tell his father or his mother, “Whatever help you might otherwise have gotten from me is a gift devoted to God,”

⁶他就可以不孝敬父母了。’你們因為你們的傳統，就廢棄了　神的話。

⁶ he shall not honor his father or mother.’ You have made the commandment of God void because of your tradition.

⁷偽君子啊，以賽亞指著你們說的預言說得好：

⁷ You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,

⁸‘這人民用嘴唇尊敬我，心卻遠離我；

⁸ ‘These people draw near to me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

⁹他們把人的規條當作道理去教導人，所以拜我也是徒然。’”

⁹ And in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrine rules made by men.’” Isaiah 29:13

¹⁰耶穌叫群眾前來，對他們說：“你們要聽，也要明白。

¹⁰He summoned the multitude, and said to them, “Hear, and understand.

¹¹進到口裡的不能使人污穢，只有從口裡出來的，才能使人污穢。”

¹¹ That which enters into the mouth doesn’t defile the man; but that which proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man.”

¹²門徒前來告訴他：“法利賽人聽了這話很生氣，你知道嗎？”

¹²Then the disciples came, and said to him, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended, when they heard this saying?”

¹³耶穌說：“所有不是我天父栽種的植物，都要連根拔起來。

¹³But he answered, “Every plant which my heavenly Father didn’t plant will be uprooted.

¹⁴由得他們吧！他們是瞎眼的，卻作了嚮導；如果瞎子領瞎子，二人都會跌進坑裡。”

¹⁴ Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind. If the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit.”

¹⁵彼得說：“請你給我們解釋這個比喻吧。”

¹⁵Peter answered him, “Explain the parable to us.”

¹⁶耶穌說：“你們還是不明白嗎？

¹⁶So Jesus said, “Do you also still not understand?

¹⁷難道不知道一切進到口裡的，是進到肚腹，然後排泄到外面去嗎？

¹⁷ Don’t you understand that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the belly, and then out of the body?

¹⁸但從口裡出來的，是發自內心，才會使人污穢。

¹⁸ But the things which proceed out of the mouth come out of the heart, and they defile the man.

¹⁹因為從心裡出來的，有惡念、兇殺、姦淫、淫亂、偷盜、假見證和毀謗。

¹⁹ For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies.

²⁰這些才會使人污穢，不洗手吃飯卻不會這樣。”

²⁰ These are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashed hands doesn’t defile the man.”

²¹迦南婦人的信心（可7:24~30）耶穌離開那裡，來到推羅、西頓境內。

²¹Jesus went out from there, and withdrew into the region of Tyre and Sidon.

²²有一個迦南的婦人從那地區出來，喊著說：“主啊，大衛的子孫，可憐我吧！我的女兒被鬼附得很苦。”

²²Behold, a Canaanite woman came out from those borders, and cried, saying, “Have mercy on me, Lord, you son of David! My daughter is severely demonized!”

²³耶穌一句話也不回答她。門徒上前求他說：“請叫她走吧，她一直跟在我們後面喊叫。”

²³But he answered her not a word. His disciples came and begged him, saying, “Send her away; for she cries after us.”

²⁴耶穌回答：“我被差遣，只是到以色列家的迷羊那裡去。”

²⁴But he answered, “I wasn’t sent to anyone but the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

²⁵她來跪在耶穌面前說：“主啊，求你幫助我！”

²⁵But she came and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, help me.”

²⁶耶穌回答：“拿兒女的餅丟給小狗吃是不好的。”

²⁶But he answered, “It is not appropriate to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”

²⁷她說：“主啊，是的，不過小狗也吃主人桌子上掉下來的碎渣。”

²⁷But she said, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”

²⁸於是耶穌對她說：“婦人，你的信心真大，照你所想的給你成就吧！”從那時起，她的女兒就好了。

²⁸Then Jesus answered her, “Woman, great is your faith! Be it done to you even as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that hour.

²⁹治好許多病人（可7:31~37）耶穌離開那裡，來到加利利海邊，就上山坐下。

²⁹Jesus departed there, and came near to the sea of Galilee; and he went up into the mountain, and sat there.

³⁰有許多人來到他那裡，把瘸腿的、瞎眼的、殘廢的、啞的和許多別的病人，都帶到耶穌跟前，他就醫好他們。

³⁰Great multitudes came to him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others, and they put them down at his feet. He healed them,

³¹群眾看見啞巴說話，殘廢的復原，瘸腿的行走，瞎眼的看見，就十分驚奇，於是頌讚以色列的　神。

³¹so that the multitude wondered when they saw the mute speaking, injured whole, lame walking, and blind seeing—and they glorified the God of Israel.

³²給四千人吃飽的神蹟（可8:1~10。參太14:13~21）耶穌叫門徒前來，說：“我憐憫這一群人，因為他們跟我在一起已經有三天，也沒有甚麼吃的；我不想叫他們餓著肚子回去，恐怕他們在路上暈倒。”

³²Jesus summoned his disciples and said, “I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days and have nothing to eat. I don’t want to send them away fasting, or they might faint on the way.”

³³門徒對他說：“我們在這曠野地方，哪裡有足夠的食物給這許多的人吃飽呢？”

³³The disciples said to him, “Where should we get so many loaves in a deserted place as to satisfy so great a multitude?”

³⁴耶穌問他們：“你們有多少餅？”他們說：“七個餅和幾條小魚。”

³⁴Jesus said to them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, “Seven, and a few small fish.”

³⁵他就吩咐群眾坐在地上，

³⁵He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground;

³⁶拿起那七個餅和那些魚，祝謝了，擘開遞給門徒，門徒又分給眾人。

³⁶and he took the seven loaves and the fish. He gave thanks and broke them, and gave to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes.

³⁷大家都吃了，並且吃飽了。他們把剩下的零碎拾起來，裝滿了七個大籃子。

³⁷They all ate, and were filled. They took up seven baskets full of the broken pieces that were left over.

³⁸吃的人，除了婦女和孩子，共有四千。

³⁸Those who ate were four thousand men, besides women and children.

³⁹耶穌解散了群眾，就上了船，來到馬加丹地區。

³⁹Then he sent away the multitudes, got into the boat, and came into the borders of Magdala.
