1Yahweh, remember David and all his affliction,
2他怎樣向耶和華起誓，向雅各的大能者許願，說：
2how he swore to Yahweh, and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:
3“我必不進我的家（“家”原文作“家的帳棚”），也必不上我的床榻。
3“Surely I will not come into the structure of my house, nor go up into my bed;
4我必不容我的眼睛睡覺，也不容我的眼瞼打盹；
4I will not give sleep to my eyes, or slumber to my eyelids;
5直到我為耶和華找著一個地方，為雅各的大能者找到居所。”
5until I find out a place for Yahweh, a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob.”
6我們聽說約櫃在以法他；我們在雅珥的田間找到它。
6Behold, we heard of it in Ephrathah. We found it in the field of Jaar:
7“我們要進入他的居所，在他的腳凳前下拜。
7“We will go into his dwelling place. We will worship at his footstool.
8耶和華啊，求你起來，求你和你有能力的約櫃同入安息的居所。
8Arise, Yahweh, into your resting place; you, and the ark of your strength.
9願你的祭司都披上公義，願你的聖民都歡呼。
9Let your priest be clothed with righteousness. Let your saints shout for joy!”
10求你因你僕人大衛的緣故，不要轉臉不理你的受膏者。”
10For your servant David’s sake, don’t turn away the face of your anointed one.
11耶和華實實在在向大衛起了誓，他必不會收回，他說：“我要從你的後裔中，立一位坐在你的王位上。
11Yahweh has sworn to David in truth. He will not turn from it: “I will set the fruit of your body on your throne.
12如果你的子孫謹守我的約，和我教訓他們的法度，他們的子孫也必永遠坐在你的王位上。”
12If your children will keep my covenant, my testimony that I will teach them, their children also will sit on your throne forevermore.”
13因為耶和華揀選了錫安，定意把它當作自己的居所。他說：
13For Yahweh has chosen Zion. He has desired it for his habitation.
14“這是我永遠安息的居所；我要住在這裡，因為我定意這樣作。
14“This is my resting place forever. Here I will live, for I have desired it.
15我要賜給錫安豐盛的糧食，我要使城中的窮人飽足。
15I will abundantly bless her provision. I will satisfy her poor with bread.
16我要使祭司都披上救恩，使聖民都大大歡呼。
16Her priests I will also clothe with salvation. Her saints will shout aloud for joy.
17我要在那裡使大衛的角長起來，我要為我的受膏者安排明燈。
17There I will make the horn of David to bud. I have ordained a lamp for my anointed.
18我要使他的仇敵都披上羞辱，但他的冠冕必在他頭上發光。”
18I will clothe his enemies with shame, but on himself, his crown will be resplendent.”
