1以扫的后代（代上1:34-37）
1And these [are] births of Esau, who [is] Edom.
2以扫娶了迦南的女子为妻，就是赫人以伦的女儿亚大，和希未人祭便的孙女，亚拿的女儿阿何利巴玛；
2Esau hath taken his wives from the daughters of Canaan: Adah daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah daughter of Anah, daughter of Zibeon the Hivite,
3又娶了以实玛利的女儿、尼拜约的妹妹巴实抹。
3and Bashemath daughter of Ishmael, sister of Nebajoth.
4亚大给以扫生了以利法；巴实抹生了流珥。
4And Adah beareth to Esau, Eliphaz; and Bashemath hath born Reuel;
5阿何利巴玛生了耶乌施、雅兰和可拉。这些都是以扫的儿子，是在迦南地生的。
5and Aholibamah hath born Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah. These [are] sons of Esau, who were born to him in the land of Canaan.
6以扫带着他的众妻子、儿女和家中所有的人，以及他的牲畜、所有的牲口和他在迦南地所得的一切财产，离开他的弟弟雅各到别的地方去了。
6And Esau taketh his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance which he hath acquired in the land of Canaan, and goeth into the country from the face of Jacob his brother;
7因为他们都有很多财物，所以不能住在一起；又因他们牲畜很多的缘故，他们寄居的地方也容不下他们。
7for their substance was more abundant than to dwell together, and the land of their sojournings was not able to bear them because of their cattle;
8于是，以扫住在西珥山上。以扫就是以东。
8and Esau dwelleth in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.
9以下是西珥山以东人的始祖以扫的后代：
9And these [are] births of Esau, father of Edom, in mount Seir.
10这些是以扫众子的名称：以利法是以扫的妻子亚大的儿子，流珥是以扫的妻子巴实抹的儿子。
10These [are] the names of the sons of Esau: Eliphaz son of Adah, wife of Esau; Reuel son of Bashemath, wife of Esau.
11以利法的儿子是提幔、阿抹、洗玻、迦坦和基纳斯。
11And the sons of Eliphaz are Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz;
12亭纳是以扫的儿子以利法的妾；她给以利法生了亚玛力。以上这些人是以扫的妻子亚大的子孙。
12and Timnath hath been concubine to Eliphaz son of Esau, and she beareth to Eliphaz, Amalek; these [are] sons of Adah wife of Esau.
13流珥的儿子是拿哈、谢拉、沙玛和米撒。这些人是以扫的妻子巴实抹的子孙。
13And these [are] sons of Reuel: Nahath and Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah; these were sons of Bashemath wife of Esau.
14以下是祭便的孙女、亚拿的女儿、以扫的妻子阿何利巴玛的儿子：她给以扫生了耶乌施、雅兰和可拉。
14And these have been the sons of Aholibamah daughter of Anah, daughter of Zibeon, wife of Esau; and she beareth to Esau, Jeush and Jaalam and Korah.
15以下是以扫子孙中的族长：以扫的长子以利法的子孙中，有提幔族长、阿抹族长、洗玻族长、基纳斯族长、
15These [are] chiefs of the sons of Esau: sons of Eliphaz, first-born of Esau: chief Teman, chief Omar, chief Zepho, chief Kenaz,
16可拉族长、迦坦族长、亚玛力族长。这些人是以东地以利法的族长，都是亚大的子孙。
16chief Korah, chief Gatam, chief Amalek; these [are] chiefs of Eliphaz, in the land of Edom; these [are] sons of Adah.
17以扫的儿子流珥的子孙中，有拿哈族长、谢拉族长、沙玛族长和米撒族长。这些人是以东地流珥的族长，都是以扫的妻子巴实抹的子孙。
17And these [are] sons of Reuel son of Esau: chief Nahath, chief Zerah, chief Shammah, chief Mizzah; these [are] chiefs of Reuel, in the land of Edom; these [are] sons of Bashemath wife of Esau.
18以扫的妻子阿何利巴玛的子孙中，有耶乌施族长、雅兰族长和可拉族长。这些人是亚拿的女儿、以扫的妻子阿何利巴玛的族长。
18And these [are] sons of Aholibamah wife of Esau: chief Jeush, chief Jaalam, chief Korah; these [are] chiefs of Aholibamah daughter of Anah, wife of Esau.
19以上这些人就是以扫的子孙和他们的族长。以扫就是以东。
19These [are] sons of Esau (who [is] Edom), and these their chiefs.
20西珥的子孙（代上1:38-42）以下是那地原有的居民，何利人西珥的儿子：罗坍、朔巴、祭便、亚拿、
20These [are] sons of Seir the Horite, the inhabitants of the land: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah,
21底顺、以察和底珊。这些人是以东地何利人西珥子孙中的族长。
21and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan; these [are] chiefs of the Horites, sons of Seir, in the land of Edom.
22罗坍的儿子是何利和希幔；罗坍的妹妹是亭纳。
22And the sons of Lotan are Hori and Heman; and a sister of Lotan [is] Timna.
23朔巴的儿子是亚勒文、玛拿辖、以巴录、示玻和阿南。
23And these [are] sons of Shobal: Alvan and Manahath, and Ebal, Shepho and Onam.
24祭便的儿子是亚雅和亚拿。当年在旷野牧放他父亲祭便的驴，发现了温泉的，就是亚拿。
24And these [are] sons of Zibeon, both Ajah and Anah: it [is] Anah that hath found the Imim in the wilderness, in his feeding the asses of Zibeon his father.
25亚拿的儿子是底顺；亚拿的女儿是阿何利巴玛。
25And these [are] sons of Anah: Dishon, and Aholibamah daughter of Anah.
26底顺的儿子是欣但、伊是班、益兰和基兰。
26And these [are] sons of Dishon: Hemdan, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
27以察的儿子是辟罕、撒番和亚干。
27These [are] sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, and Akan.
28底珊的儿子是乌斯和亚兰。
28These [are] sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
29以下是何利人的族长：罗坍族长、朔巴族长、祭便族长、亚拿族长、
29These [are] chiefs of the Horite: chief Lotan, chief Shobal, chief Zibeon, chief Anah,
30底顺族长、以察族长、底珊族长。这些都是何利人的族长，在西珥地按着他们的宗族作族长的。
30chief Dishon, chief Ezer, chief Dishan: these [are] chiefs of the Horite in reference to their chiefs in the land of Seir.
31以东众王（代上1:43-50）以色列人还没有君王统治之前，在以东地作王的记在下面：
31And these [are] the kings who have reigned in the land of Edom before the reigning of a king over the sons of Israel.
32比珥的儿子比拉在以东作王，他的京城名叫亭哈巴。
32And Bela son of Beor reigneth in Edom, and the name of his city [is] Dinhabah;
33比拉死后，波斯拉人谢拉的儿子约巴接替他作王。
33and Bela dieth, and reign in his stead doth Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah;
34约巴死后，从提幔地来的户珊接替他作王。
34and Jobab dieth, and reign in his stead doth Husham from the land of the Temanite.
35户珊死后，比达的儿子哈达接替他作王；这哈达就是在摩押原野上击败了米甸人的；他的京城名叫亚未得。
35And Husham dieth, and reign in his stead doth Hadad son of Bedad (who smiteth Midian in the field of Moab), and the name of his city [is] Avith;
36哈达死后，玛士利加人桑拉接替他作王。
36and Hadad dieth, and reign in his stead doth Samlah of Masrekah;
37桑拉死后，大河边的利河伯人扫罗接替他作王。
37and Samlah dieth, and reign in his stead doth Saul from Rehoboth of the River;
38扫罗死后，亚革波的儿子巴勒．哈南接替他作王。
38and Saul dieth, and reign in his stead doth Baal-hanan son of Achbor;
39亚革波的儿子巴勒．哈南死后，哈达接替他作王；他的京城名叫巴乌；他的妻子名叫米希他别，是米．萨合的孙女、玛特列的女儿。
39and Baal-hanan son of Achbor dieth, and reign in his stead doth Hadar, and the name of his city [is] Pau; and his wife`s name [is] Mehetabel daughter of Matred, daughter of Me-zahab.
40以东的族长（代上1:51-54）以下是以扫所出族长的名字（他们是按着自己的家族和住处命名的）：亭纳族长、亚勒瓦族长、耶帖族长、
40And these [are] the names of the chiefs of Esau, according to their families, according to their places, by their names: chief Timnah, chief Alvah, chief Jetheth,
41阿何利巴玛族长、以拉族长、比嫩族长、
41chief Aholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,
42基纳斯族长、提幔族长、米比萨族长、
42chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,
43玛基叠族长和以兰族长。这些都是以东人的族长，在所得作为产业的地上，按着他们的住处作族长。以东的始祖就是以扫。
43chief Magdiel, chief Iram: these [are] chiefs of Edom, in reference to their dwellings, in the land of their possession; he [is] Esau father of Edom.
