¹约哈难不信耶利米的话

¹It happened that, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking to all the people all the words of Yahweh their God, with which Yahweh their God had sent him to them, even all these words,

²何沙雅的儿子亚撒利雅，和加利亚的儿子约哈难，以及所有狂傲的人，就对耶利米说：“你在说谎！耶和华我们的　神并没有差遣你来说：‘你们不可去埃及，在那里寄居。’

²then spoke Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men, saying to Jeremiah, You speak falsely: Yahweh our God has not sent you to say, You shall not go into Egypt to live there;

³只是尼利亚的儿子巴录怂恿你来反对我们，为要把我们交在迦勒底人的手中，好使我们被杀害，或被掳到巴比伦去。”

³but Baruch the son of Neriah sets you on against us, to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they may put us to death, and carry us away captive to Babylon.

⁴于是加利亚的儿子约哈难和众将领，以及众民，都不听从耶和华要他们留在犹大地的命令。

⁴So Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, didn’t obey the voice of Yahweh, to dwell in the land of Judah.

⁵约哈难带领人民下埃及相反地，加利亚的儿子约哈难和众将领却率领犹大所有余剩的人，就是那些从被赶逐到各国回来住在犹大地的，

⁵But Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, took all the remnant of Judah, who were returned from all the nations where they had been driven, to live in the land of Judah;

⁶包括男人、女人、孩童和王的众公主，以及护卫长尼布撒拉旦留给沙番的孙子、亚希甘的儿子基大利管理的众人，还有耶利米先知和尼利亚的儿子巴录，

⁶the men, and the women, and the children, and the king’s daughters, and every person who Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had left with Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan; and Jeremiah the prophet, and Baruch the son of Neriah;

⁷把他们都带进埃及地，去到答比匿，没有听从耶和华的话。

⁷and they came into the land of Egypt; for they didn’t obey the voice of Yahweh: and they came to Tahpanhes.

⁸预言巴比伦王攻击埃及在答比匿耶和华的话临到耶利米，说：

⁸Then came the word of Yahweh to Jeremiah in Tahpanhes, saying,

⁹“你要在犹大人眼前亲手拿几块大石头，埋藏在答比匿法老宫殿门前砖窑的灰泥中；

⁹Take great stones in your hand, and hide them in mortar in the brick work, which is at the entry of Pharaoh’s house in Tahpanhes, in the sight of the men of Judah;

¹⁰然后对他们说：‘万军之耶和华以色列的　神这样说：看哪！我要派人去领我的仆人巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒来；我要在我所埋藏的这些石头上安设他的王位；他必在上面张开他的帐篷。

¹⁰and tell them, Thus says Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel: Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne on these stones that I have hidden; and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them.

¹¹他必来攻打埃及地；那些注定死亡的，必要死亡；那些注定被掳的，必要被掳；那些注定被刀杀的，必被刀杀。

¹¹He shall come, and shall strike the land of Egypt; such as are for death shall be put to death, and such as are for captivity to captivity, and such as are for the sword to the sword.

¹²他（“他”按照《马索拉抄本》应作“我”；现参照《七十士译本》翻译）必焚烧埃及的神庙，把它们烧毁，并且掳掠；他必得着埃及地，好像牧人披上衣服那么容易；他必安然离开那里。

¹²I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt; and he shall burn them, and carry them away captive: and he shall array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd puts on his garment; and he shall go forth from there in peace.

¹³他必打碎埃及地伯．示麦（“伯．示麦”或译：“太阳神庙”）的神柱，放火烧毁埃及神庙。’”

¹³He shall also break the pillars of Beth Shemesh, that is in the land of Egypt; and the houses of the gods of Egypt shall he burn with fire.
