1约拿祷告
1Then Jonah prayed to Yahweh, his God, out of the fish’s belly.
2说：“我从患难中求告耶和华，他就应允我；我从阴间的深府呼求，你就垂听我的声音。
2He said, “I called because of my affliction to Yahweh. He answered me. Out of the belly of Sheol Sheol is the place of the dead. I cried. You heard my voice.
3你把我投入深海，在海洋的深处，大水环绕我；你的洪涛、你的波浪，都漫过我。
3For you threw me into the depths, in the heart of the seas. The flood was all around me. All your waves and your billows passed over me.
4我说：‘我虽从你眼前被赶逐，我仍要仰望你的圣殿。’
4I said, ‘I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again toward your holy temple.’
5众水包围我，几乎置我于死地；深渊环绕我；海草缠裹我的头。
5The waters surrounded me, even to the soul. The deep was around me. The weeds were wrapped around my head.
6我下沉直到山麓，大地的门闩把我永远关闭；耶和华我的 神啊！你却把我的性命从坑中拉上来。
6I went down to the bottoms of the mountains. The earth barred me in forever: yet have you brought up my life from the pit, Yahweh my God.
7当我心灵疲弱时，我就思念耶和华；我的祷告直达你面前，进入你的圣殿。
7“When my soul fainted within me, I remembered Yahweh. My prayer came in to you, into your holy temple.
8那敬奉虚妄之偶像的人，实在是离弃了怜爱他们的 神（“怜爱他们的 神”原文作“他们的恩典”）。
8Those who regard lying vanities forsake their own mercy.
9至于我，我要带着感谢的声音向你献祭；我所许的愿，我必偿还。救恩是属于耶和华的。”
9But I will sacrifice to you with the voice of thanksgiving. I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation belongs to Yahweh.”
10于是耶和华吩咐那鱼，鱼就把约拿吐在陆地上。
10Yahweh spoke to the fish, and it vomited out Jonah on the dry land.
