¹脱离律法的约束归属基督

¹Or don’t you know, brothers The word for “brothers” here and where context allows may also be correctly translated “brothers and sisters” or “siblings.” (for I speak to men who know the law), that the law has dominion over a man for as long as he lives?

²一个已婚的妇人，在丈夫活着的时候，她是受律法约束归属丈夫；丈夫若死了，她就脱离丈夫在律法上的约束。

²For the woman that has a husband is bound by law to the husband while he lives, but if the husband dies, she is discharged from the law of the husband.

³所以，当丈夫还活着的时候，如果她归属别的男人，就称为淫妇；丈夫若死了，她就脱离了律法的约束，如果她归属别的男人，也不是淫妇。

³So then if, while the husband lives, she is joined to another man, she would be called an adulteress. But if the husband dies, she is free from the law, so that she is no adulteress, though she is joined to another man.

⁴这样，我的弟兄们，你们借着基督的身体，对律法来说也已经死了，使你们归属另一位，就是那从死人中复活的，为的是要我们结果子给　神。

⁴Therefore, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you would be joined to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit to God.

⁵我们从前属肉体的时候，罪恶的情欲借着律法在我们的肢体里发动，就结出死亡的果子。

⁵For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were through the law, worked in our members to bring forth fruit to death.

⁶但现在，我们既然向那捆绑我们的律法死了，就脱离了律法的约束，好让我们用心灵的新样子，而不用仪文的旧方式来服事主。

⁶But now we have been discharged from the law, having died to that in which we were held; so that we serve in newness of the spirit, and not in oldness of the letter.

⁷善恶两律在心中交战这样，我们可以说什么呢？难道律法是罪吗？绝对不是。不过，如果不是借着律法，我就不知道什么是罪；如果不是律法说“不可贪心”，我就不知道什么是贪心。

⁷What shall we say then? Is the law sin? May it never be! However, I wouldn’t have known sin, except through the law. For I wouldn’t have known coveting, unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.” Exodus 20:17; Deuteronomy 5:21

⁸但罪趁着机会，借着诫命在我里面发动各样的贪心，因为没有律法，罪是死的。

⁸But sin, finding occasion through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of coveting. For apart from the law, sin is dead.

⁹在没有律法的时候，我是活的；但诫命一来，罪就活了，

⁹I was alive apart from the law once, but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.

¹⁰我就死了，那本来使人活的诫命，反而使我死了；

¹⁰The commandment, which was for life, this I found to be for death;

¹¹因为罪借着诫命把握着机会来欺骗我，并且杀了我。

¹¹for sin, finding occasion through the commandment, deceived me, and through it killed me.

¹²这样，律法是圣洁的，诫命也是圣洁、公义和良善的。

¹²Therefore the law indeed is holy, and the commandment holy, and righteous, and good.

¹³既是这样，那良善的反而使我死吗？绝对不是！但罪借着那良善的使我死，就显出真是罪，为了要使罪借着诫命变成更加邪恶。

¹³Did then that which is good become death to me? May it never be! But sin, that it might be shown to be sin, by working death to me through that which is good; that through the commandment sin might become exceeding sinful.

¹⁴我们知道律法是属灵的，我却是属肉体的，已经卖给罪了。

¹⁴For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold under sin.

¹⁵因为我所作的，我不明白；我所愿意的，我没有去作，我所恨恶的，我倒去作。

¹⁵For I don’t know what I am doing. For I don’t practice what I desire to do; but what I hate, that I do.

¹⁶如果我所不愿意的，我倒去作，我就不得不承认律法是好的。

¹⁶But if what I don’t desire, that I do, I consent to the law that it is good.

¹⁷既是这样，那就不是我作的，而是住在我里面的罪作的。

¹⁷So now it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me.

¹⁸我知道在我里面，就是在我肉体之中，没有良善，因为立志行善由得我，行出来却由不得我。

¹⁸For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don’t find it doing that which is good.

¹⁹所以我愿意行的善，我没有去行；我不愿意作的恶，我倒去作了。

¹⁹For the good which I desire, I don’t do; but the evil which I don’t desire, that I practice.

²⁰我若作自己不愿意作的事，那就不是我作的，而是住在我里面的罪作的。

²⁰But if what I don’t desire, that I do, it is no more I that do it, but sin which dwells in me.

²¹因此，我发现了一个律，就是我想向善的时候，恶就在我里面出现。

²¹I find then the law, that, to me, while I desire to do good, evil is present.

²²按着我里面的人来说，我是喜欢　神的律，

²²For I delight in God’s law after the inward man,

²³但我发觉肢体中另有一个律，和我心中的律争战，把我掳去附从肢体中的罪律。

²³but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which is in my members.

²⁴我这个人真是苦啊！谁能救我脱离这使我死亡的身体呢？

²⁴What a wretched man I am! Who will deliver me out of the body of this death?

²⁵感谢　神，借着我们的主耶稣基督就能脱离了。可见，一方面我自己心里服事　神的律，另一方面我的肉体却服事罪的律。

²⁵I thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord! So then with the mind, I myself serve God’s law, but with the flesh, the sin’s law.
