¹O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

¹大衛的詩，是他在猶大曠野時作的。　神啊！你是我的　神，我要切切尋求你；在乾旱、疲乏、無水之地，我的心，我的身，都渴想你，切慕你。

²To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

²因此，我在聖所中瞻仰你，為要見你的能力和榮耀。

³Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

³因你的慈愛比生命更好，我的嘴唇要頌讚你。

⁴Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

⁴我要一生稱頌你，我要奉你的名舉手禱告。

⁵My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:

⁵我的心滿足，就像飽享了骨髓肥油；我要用歡樂的嘴唇讚美你。

⁶When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

⁶我在床上記念你，我整夜默想你。

⁷Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

⁷因為你幫助了我，我要在你翅膀的蔭下歡呼。

⁸My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.

⁸我心緊緊追隨你；你的右手扶持我。

⁹But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

⁹但那些尋索我、要殺我的人，必下到地的深處。

¹⁰They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.

¹⁰他們必交在刀劍之下，成了野狗的食物。

¹¹But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

¹¹但王必因　神歡喜；所有指著　神起誓的，都必可以誇耀；說謊的人的口卻必被塞住。
