¹And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I sat in mine house, and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Lord GOD fell there upon me.

²Then I beheld, and lo a likeness as the appearance of fire: from the appearance of his loins even downward, fire; and from his loins even upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the colour of amber.

²我观看，见有一形状好像人的样子，在那仿佛是他腰部以下，有火的样子，在那仿佛是他腰部的以上有光辉的样子，好像闪耀的金属。

³And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy.

³他伸出一只形状像手的东西，抓住我的一绺头发；灵就把我提到天地之间，在　神的异象中，他把我带往耶路撒冷，到圣殿北门内院的入口处，在那里有令　神愤恨的偶像的座位。

⁴And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the vision that I saw in the plain.

⁴不料，在那里有以色列　神的荣耀，形状与我在平原所见的一样。

⁵Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.

⁵耶路撒冷的偶像崇拜他对我说：“人子啊！举目向北观看。”我就举目向北观看，见祭坛门的北面，在入口的地方，有令　神愤恨的偶像。

⁶He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.

⁶他又对我说：“人子啊！以色列家在这里所行的，就是他们行这极其可憎的事，使我远离我的圣所，你看见了吗？但你还要看见更加可憎的事。”

⁷And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall.

⁷他领我到院子的门口；我观看，见墙上有一个洞。

⁸Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door.

⁸他对我说：“人子啊，挖墙吧！”我就挖墙，不料，见有一道门。

⁹And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.

⁹他对我说：“你进去，看看他们在那里所行可憎的恶事。”

¹⁰So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about.

¹⁰于是我进去观看，见四围的墙上刻着各种形状的爬行物，和可憎恶的走兽，以及以色列家所有的偶像。

¹¹And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.

¹¹站在这些像面前的有以色列家的七十个长老，沙番的儿子雅撒尼亚也站在他们中间；各人手里拿着自己的香炉，香的烟往上升。

¹²Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, the LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth.

¹²他对我说：“人子啊！以色列家的众长老各在自己偶像的房间里暗中所行的，你看见了吗？他们说：‘耶和华看不见我们，耶和华已经离开这地了。’”

¹³He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.

¹³他又对我说：“你还要看见他们行更加可憎的事。”

¹⁴Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.

¹⁴他领我到耶和华殿朝北的门口，在那里有些妇女坐着，为搭模斯哭泣。

¹⁵Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.

¹⁵他对我说：“人子啊，你看见了吗？你还要看见比这些更可憎的事。”

¹⁶And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

¹⁶他又领我到耶和华殿的内院，在耶和华殿的门口，就是在走廊和祭坛中间，约有二十五个人，背向耶和华的殿，面向着东方；他们正在朝着东面叩拜太阳。

¹⁷Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.

¹⁷惩罚的警告他对我说：“人子啊，你看见了吗？犹大家在这里行这可憎的事，还算小事吗？他们使这地充满了强暴，再三惹我发怒；看哪！他们把树枝拿到自己的鼻前。

¹⁸Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.

¹⁸因此我要以烈怒待他们；我的眼必不顾惜，我也不怜恤；他们虽然在我耳中大声呼求，我还是不听他们。”
