1Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
1فكونوا متمثلين بالله كاولاد احباء.
2And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
2واسلكوا في المحبة كما احبنا المسيح ايضا واسلم نفسه لاجلنا قربانا وذبيحة للّه رائحة طيبة
3But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
3واما الزنى وكل نجاسة او طمع فلا يسمّ بينكم كما يليق بقديسين
4Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
4ولا القباحة ولا كلام السفاهة والهزل التي لا تليق بل بالحري الشكر.
5For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
5فانكم تعلمون هذا ان كل زان او نجس او طماع الذي هو عابد للاوثان ليس له ميراث في ملكوت المسيح والله.
6Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
6لا يغركم احد بكلام باطل لانه بسبب هذه الامور يأتي غضب الله على ابناء المعصية.
7Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
7فلا تكونوا شركاءهم.
8For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
8لانكم كنتم قبلا ظلمة واما الآن فنور في الرب. اسلكوا كاولاد نور.
9(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
9لان ثمر الروح هو في كل صلاح وبر وحق.
10Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
10مختبرين ما هو مرضي عند الرب.
11And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
11ولا تشتركوا في اعمال الظلمة غير المثمرة بل بالحري وبخوها.
12For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
12لان الامور الحادثة منهم سرّا ذكرها ايضا قبيح.
13But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
13ولكن الكل اذا توبخ يظهر بالنور. لان كل ما اظهر فهو نور.
14Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
14لذلك يقول استيقظ ايها النائم وقم من الاموات فيضيء لك المسيح
15See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
15فانظروا كيف تسلكون بالتدقيق لا كجهلاء بل كحكماء
16Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
16مفتدين الوقت لان الايام شريرة.
17Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
17من اجل ذلك لا تكونوا اغبياء بل فاهمين ما هي مشيئة الرب.
18And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
18ولا تسكروا بالخمر الذي فيه الخلاعة بل امتلئوا بالروح
19Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
19مكلمين بعضكم بعضا بمزامير وتسابيح واغاني روحية مترنمين ومرتلين في قلوبكم للرب.
20Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
20شاكرين كل حين على كل شيء في اسم ربنا يسوع المسيح للّه والآب.
21Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
21خاضعين بعضكم لبعض في خوف الله
22Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
22ايها النساء اخضعن لرجالكنّ كما للرب.
23For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
23لان الرجل هو راس المرأة كما ان المسيح ايضا راس الكنيسة. وهو مخلّص الجسد.
24Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
24ولكن كما تخضع الكنيسة للمسيح كذلك النساء لرجالهنّ في كل شيء.
25Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
25ايها الرجال احبوا نساءكم كما احب المسيح ايضا الكنيسة واسلم نفسه لاجلها
26That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
26لكي يقدسها مطهرا اياها بغسل الماء بالكلمة
27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
27لكي يحضرها لنفسه كنيسة مجيدة لا دنس فيها ولا غضن او شيء من مثل ذلك بل تكون مقدسة وبلا عيب.
28So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
28كذلك يجب على الرجال ان يحبوا نساءهم كاجسادهم. من يحب امرأته يحب نفسه.
29For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
29فانه لم يبغض احد جسده قط بل يقوته ويربيه كما الرب ايضا للكنيسة.
30For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
30لاننا اعضاء جسمه من لحمه ومن عظامه.
31For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
31من اجل هذا يترك الرجل اباه وامه ويلتصق بامرأته ويكون الاثنان جسدا واحدا.
32This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
32هذا السر عظيم ولكنني انا اقول من نحو المسيح والكنيسة.
33Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
33واما انتم الافراد فليحب كل واحد امرأته هكذا كنفسه واما المرأة فلتهب رجلها
