1This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah by their families; even to the border of Edom the wilderness of Zin southward was the uttermost part of the south coast.
1وكانت القرعة لسبط بني يهوذا حسب عشائرهم الى تخم ادوم برية صين نحو الجنوب اقصى التيمن.
2And their south border was from the shore of the salt sea, from the bay that looketh southward:
2وكان تخمهم الجنوبي اقصى بحر الملح من اللسان المتوجه نحو الجنوب.
3And it went out to the south side to Maalehacrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadeshbarnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa:
3وخرج الى جنوب عقبة عقربّيم وعبر الى صين وصعد من جنوب قادش برنيع وعبر الى حصرون وصعد الى ادّار ودار الى القرقع
4From thence it passed toward Azmon, and went out unto the river of Egypt; and the goings out of that coast were at the sea: this shall be your south coast.
4وعبر الى عصمون وخرج الى وادي مصر وكانت مخارج التخم عند البحر. هذا يكون تخمكم الجنوبي.
5And the east border was the salt sea, even unto the end of Jordan. And their border in the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the uttermost part of Jordan:
5وتخم الشرق بحر الملح الى طرف الاردن. وتخم جانب الشمال من لسان البحر اقصى الاردن.
6And the border went up to Bethhogla, and passed along by the north of Betharabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben:
6وصعد التخم الى بيت حجلة وعبر من شمال بيت العربة وصعد التخم الى حجر بوهن بن رأوبين
7And the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that is before the going up to Adummim, which is on the south side of the river: and the border passed toward the waters of Enshemesh, and the goings out thereof were at Enrogel:
7وصعد التخم الى دبير من وادي عخور وتوجه نحو الشمال الى الجلجال التي مقابل عقبة ادميم التي من جنوبي الوادي. وعبر التخم الى مياه عين شمس وكانت مخارجه الى عين روجل.
8And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of the giants northward:
8وصعد التخم في وادي ابن هنوم الى جانب اليبوسي من الجنوب. هي اورشليم. وصعد التخم الى راس الجبل الذي قبالة وادي هنوم غربا الذي هو في طرف وادي الرفائيين شمالا.
9And the border was drawn from the top of the hill unto the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border was drawn to Baalah, which is Kirjathjearim:
9وامتد التخم من راس الجبل الى منبع مياه نفتوح وخرج الى مدن جبل عفرون وامتد التخم الى بعلة. هي قرية يعاريم.
10And the border compassed from Baalah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along unto the side of mount Jearim, which is Chesalon, on the north side, and went down to Bethshemesh, and passed on to Timnah:
10وامتد التخم من بعلة غربا الى جبل سعير وعبر الى جانب جبل يعاريم من الشمال. هي كسالون ونزل الى بيت شمس وعبر الى تمنة.
11And the border went out unto the side of Ekron northward: and the border was drawn to Shicron, and passed along to mount Baalah, and went out unto Jabneel; and the goings out of the border were at the sea.
11وخرج التخم الى جانب عقرون نحو الشمال وامتد التخم الى شكرون وعبر جبل البعلة وخرج الى يبنئيل وكان مخارج التخم عند البحر.
12And the west border was to the great sea, and the coast thereof. This is the coast of the children of Judah round about according to their families.
12والتخم الغربي البحر الكبير وتخومه. هذا تخم بني يهوذا مستديرا حسب عشائرهم
13And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron.
13واعطى كالب بن يفنّة قسما في وسط بني يهوذا حسب قول الرب ليشوع قرية اربع ابي عناق. هي حبرون.
14And Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.
14وطرد كالب من هناك بني عناق الثلاثة شيشاي واخيمان وتلماي اولاد عناق.
15And he went up thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before was Kirjathsepher.
15وصعد من هناك الى سكان دبير وكان اسم دبير قبلا قرية سفر.
16And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjathsepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.
16وقال كالب. من يضرب قرية سفر ويأخذها اعطيه عكسة ابنتي امرأة.
17And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife.
17فاخذها عثنيئيل بن قناز اخو كالب. فاعطاه عكسة ابنته امرأة.
18And it came to pass, as she came unto him, that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted off her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wouldest thou?
18وكان عند دخولها انها غرته بطلب حقل من ابيها. فنزلت عن الحمار فقال لها كالب ما لك.
19Who answered, Give me a blessing; for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs, and the nether springs.
19فقالت اعطني بركة. لانك اعطيتني ارض الجنوب فاعطني ينابيع ماء فاعطاها الينابيع العليا والينابيع السفلى
20This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families.
20هذا نصيب سبط بني يهوذا حسب عشائرهم.
21And the uttermost cities of the tribe of the children of Judah toward the coast of Edom southward were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,
21وكانت المدن القصوى التي لسبط بني يهوذا الى تخم ادوم جنوبا قبصئيل وعيدر وياجور
22And Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,
22وقينة وديمونة وعدعدة
23And Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan,
23وقادش وحاصور ويثنان
24Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth,
24وزيف وطالم وبعلوت
25And Hazor, Hadattah, and Kerioth, and Hezron, which is Hazor,
25وحاصور وحدتّة وقريوت وحصرون. هي حاصور.
26Amam, and Shema, and Moladah,
26وامام وشماع ومولادة
27And Hazargaddah, and Heshmon, and Bethpalet,
27وحصر جدة وحشمون وبيت فالط
28And Hazarshual, and Beersheba, and Bizjothjah,
28وحصر شوعال وبئر سبع وبزيوتية
29Baalah, and Iim, and Azem,
29وبعلة وعيّيم وعاصم
30And Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah,
30وألتولد وكسيل وحرمة
31And Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah,
31وصقلغ ومدمنة وسنسنة
32And Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon: all the cities are twenty and nine, with their villages:
32ولباوت وشلحيم وعين ورمّون. كل المدن تسع وعشرون مع ضياعها
33And in the valley, Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah,
33في السهل اشتأول وصرعة وأشنة
34And Zanoah, and Engannim, Tappuah, and Enam,
34وزانوح وعين جنيم وتفوح وعينام
35Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah,
35ويرموت وعدلام وسوكوه وعزيقة
36And Sharaim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim; fourteen cities with their villages:
36وشعرايم وعديتايم والجديرة وجديروتايم. اربع عشرة مدينة مع ضياعها
37Zenan, and Hadashah, and Migdalgad,
37صنان وحداشة ومجدل جاد
38And Dilean, and Mizpeh, and Joktheel,
38ودلعان والمصفاة ويقتيئيل
39Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon,
39ولخيش وبصقة وعجلون
40And Cabbon, and Lahmam, and Kithlish,
40وكبون ولحمام وكتليش
41And Gederoth, Bethdagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah; sixteen cities with their villages:
41وجديروت بيت داجون ونعمة ومقيدة. ست عشرة مدينة مع ضياعها.
42Libnah, and Ether, and Ashan,
42لبنة وعاتر وعاشان
43And Jiphtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,
43ويفتاح واشنة ونصيب
44And Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine cities with their villages:
44وقعيلة واكزيب ومريشة. تسع مدن مع ضياعها
45Ekron, with her towns and her villages:
45عقرون وقراها وضياعها.
46From Ekron even unto the sea, all that lay near Ashdod, with their villages:
46من عقرون غربا كل ما بقرب اشدود وضياعها.
47Ashdod with her towns and her villages, Gaza with her towns and her villages, unto the river of Egypt, and the great sea, and the border thereof:
47اشدود وقراها وضياعها وغزة وقراها وضياعها الى وادي مصر والبحر الكبير وتخومه
48And in the mountains, Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh,
48وفي الجبل شامير ويتّير وسوكوه
49And Dannah, and Kirjathsannah, which is Debir,
49ودنّة وقرية سنّة. هي دبير.
50And Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim,
50وعناب واشتموه وعانيم
51And Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh; eleven cities with their villages:
51وجوشن وحولون وجيلوه. احدى عشرة مدينة مع ضياعها.
52Arab, and Dumah, and Eshean,
52أراب ودومة واشعان
53And Janum, and Bethtappuah, and Aphekah,
53وينوم وبيت تفوح وافيقة
54And Humtah, and Kirjatharba, which is Hebron, and Zior; nine cities with their villages:
54وحمطة وقرية اربع. هي حبرون وصيعور. تسع مدن مع ضياعها.
55Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Juttah,
55معون وكرمل وزيف ويوطة
56And Jezreel, and Jokdeam, and Zanoah,
56ويزرعيل ويقدعام وزانوح
57Cain, Gibeah, and Timnah; ten cities with their villages:
57والقاين وجبعة وتمنة. عشر مدن مع ضياعها.
58Halhul, Bethzur, and Gedor,
58حلحول وبيت صور وجدور
59And Maarath, and Bethanoth, and Eltekon; six cities with their villages:
59ومعارة وبيت عنوت والتقون. ست مدن مع ضياعها
60Kirjathbaal, which is Kirjathjearim, and Rabbah; two cities with their villages:
60قرية بعل. هي قرية يعاريم. والربّة. مدينتان مع ضياعهما
61In the wilderness, Betharabah, Middin, and Secacah,
61في البرية بيت العربة ومدّين وسكاكة
62And Nibshan, and the city of Salt, and Engedi; six cities with their villages.
62والنبشان ومدينة الملح وعين جدي. ست مدن مع ضياعها.
63As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out; but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day.
63واما اليبوسيون الساكنون في اورشليم فلم يقدر بنو يهوذا على طردهم فسكن اليبوسيون مع بني يهوذا في اورشليم الى هذا اليوم
