1Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
1पतरस कइँती स, जउन ईसू मसीह क प्रेरित अहइ, परमेस्सर क उ चुने भए लोगन क नाउँ जउन पुन्तुस, गलातिया, कप्पदुकिया, एसिया अउर बिथुनिया क छेत्रन मँ सब कहूँ फैले अहइँ।
2Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
2तू जेनका परमपिता परमेस्सर क पूर्व गियान क हिसाब स चुना गवा अहइ, जउन अपनी आतिमा क पवित्तर करइ जिनका ओनकइ आज्ञाकारी होइ खातिर अउर जेनपइ ईसू मसीह क लहू छिड़काव स पवित्तर कीन्ह जाइ क खातिर चुना गवा रहा तू पचन्क ऊपर परमेस्सर क अनुग्रह अउर सांति ज्यादा स ज्यादा होत रहइ।
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
3हमरे पर्भू ईसू मसीह क परमपिता परमेस्सर धन्य होइ। मरे भए मँ स ईसू मसीह फिन जिअइ क कारण स ओकर अपार करुणा मँ स सजीव आसा पावइ खातिर उ हमका नवा जनम दिहे अहइ।
4To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
4जेहिसे सरग मँ सुरच्छित ढंग स रखे भए अजर-अमर अउर जेनका नस्ट नाहीं कीन्ह जाइ सकत सरगे मँ तोहरे बरे सुरच्छित अहइ।
5Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
5जे आपन बिसवास दुआरा परमेस्सर स सुरच्छित अहइँ ओनका उ उद्धार जउन समइ क अंतिम कोना मँ प्रकट होइ क हइ, मिल जाइ।
6Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
6एह पइ तू बहुत प्रसन्न अहा। मुला अब तू पचन्क तनिक बरे खातिर तरह तरह क इम्तहान मँ पड़िके दुखी होब जरूरी अहइ।
7That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
7जेहिसे तू पचन्क जउन परखा नासवान भवा बिसवास अहइ, जउन आगी मँ परखा नासवान सोनो स ज्यादा कीमती अहइ, ओहका जब ईसू मसीह परगट होई, परमेस्सर स प्रसंसा महिमा अउर आदर मिलइ चाही।
8Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
8तू पचे ईसू मसीह क देखे नाहीं अहा, मुला तू पचे ओसे पिरेम करत अहा। चाहे तू पचे ओका दइ नाहीं पाए रह्या ह, मुला तबउ ओहमाँ बिसवास रखत अहा अउर एक अइसे आनन्द स भरा भवा अहा जउन कहइ लायक नाहीं अहइ एउर महिमावान अहइ।
9Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
9अउर तू पचे अपने बिसवास क कारण लच्छ तक पहुँच रहे अहा जेहसे आतिमा क तउ उद्धार होइ।
10Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
10इ उद्धार क बारे मँ उ नबियन बड़े मेहनत स पता लगाइन हइ अउर बड़ी हुसयारी स पता खोजेन हइ, जउन तउ प परगट होइवाले अनुग्रह क भविस्सबाणी क दिहे रहेन।
11Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
11उ नबियन मसीह क आतिमा स इ जानिन जउन मसीह प होइवाले दुःखन क बतावत रही अउर उ महिमा जउन दुःखन क बाद परगट होई। इ आतिमा ओनका बतावत रही। इ बातन इ दुनिया मँ कब होइहीं अउर तब इ दुनिया मँ का होइ।
12Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
12ओनका इ देखाइ दीन्ह गवा रहा कि उ बातन क प्रवचन करत भए उ पचे आपन सेवा खुदइ नाही करत रहेन बल्कि तोहार सबन्क करत रहेन। उ बतियन तू सबन्क सरग स पठए गए पवित्तर आतिमा क दुआरा तू पचन क ओन लोगन स जउन सुसमाचार मिला जे तोहरे बरे लिआवत रहेन। अउर उ बातन क जानइ क खातिर सरगदूतन तरसत अहइँ।
13Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
13इ खातिर आपन दिमाग काम क बरे तइयार रखा अउर अपने ऊपर नियंत्रण रखा। उ बरदान जउन ईसू मसीह क परगट अहइ प तू पचन्क मिलइवाला अहइ, पूरी असा रखा।
14As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
14आग्या मानइवाले बचवन क नाईं उ समइ क बुरी इच्छन क हिसाब स अपने क न ढाला जउन तू पचन मँ पहिले स रही जब तू पचे अग्यानी रह्या।
15But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
15बल्कि जइसे तू सबन क उ परमेस्सर जउन सबन्क बोलावत अहइ पवित्तर अहइ उहइ क तरह अपने करमन मँ पवित्तर बना।
16Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
16पवित्तर सास्तरन मँ लिखा अहइ: “पवित्तर बना, काहेकि मइँ पवित्तर अहउँ।”
17And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
17अउर अगर तउ प्रत्येक करमन क हिसाब स पच्छपात रहित होइके निआव करइवाले परमेस्सर क हे पिता! कहिके पुकारत अहा तउ उ परमेस्सर सबन क संग बिना भेद-भाव क निआव करत ह। तउ इ परदेसी धरती मँ अपने रहइ वाले दिनन क इज्जत अउर परमेस्सर क डर क संग बितावा।
18Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
18तू इ जानत अहा कि सोना या चाँदी जइसेन वस्तुअऩ स तू पचे उ व्यर्थ जीवन स छुटकारा नाही पाइ सकत अहा जउन तू पचन क तोहरे पूर्वजन स मिला बाटइ।
19But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
19बल्कि उ तउ तू पचन के निर्दोस अउर कलंक रहित मेमने क समान मसीह क कीमती लहू स तू सबन क मिला सकत ह।
20Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
20इ संसार क बनइ स पहिलेन ओहका चुन लीन्ह गवा रहा मुला तू पचे खातिर अन्तिम दिनन मँ परगट कीन्ह गवा ह।
21Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
21उ मसीह क कारण तू पचे उ परमेस्सर मँ बिस्सास करत रह्या जउन मरे भएन मँ स जियाइ दिहेस अउर महिमा दिहेस। इ तरह परमेस्सर मँ तोहारे आसा अउर बिस्सास स्थिर अहइ।
22Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
22अब तू सत्य क पालन करत भए, नीक भाईचारा अउर पिरेम क प्रदर्सित करइ खातिर अपने आतिमा क पवित्तर क लिहे अहा, पवित्तर हिरदय क साथ परस्पर पिरेम क आपन लच्छ बनाइ ल्या।
23Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
23तू नासमान क बीज स फिन स जीवन प्राप्त नाही किहा ह बल्कि इ उ बीज क परिणाम अहइ जउऩ अमर हइ। तोहार पुनर्जनम परमेस्सर क उ नीक सन्देस स भवा अहइ जउन जिअत अहइ अउर हमेसा अटल रहत ह।
24For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
24काहेकि पवित्तर सास्तर कहत ह, “प्राणी त सबइ घास बराबर अहइँ, अउर ओऩके सज, धज सब घास क फूलन जइसी, घास सब सूख जात ह अउर फूल उड़ जात ही।
25But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.
25मुला टिका रहत ह परमेस्सर क इ संदेसा सदा हीं।” यसायाह 40:6-8 इ उहइ नीक संदेसा अहइ जेहका तोहका उपदेस दीन्ह गवा ह। सजीब पाथर अउर पवित्तर प्रजा
