1Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope;
1पौलुस कइँती स जउन हमार उद्धारकर्ता परमेस्सर अउर हमार आसा मसीह ईसू क हुकुम स मसीह ईसू क प्रेरित बना बा,
2Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.
2तीमुथियुस क जउन बिसवासे मँ मोर सच्चा बेटवा बा, परमपिता परमेस्सर अउर हमरे पर्भू ईसू मसीह कइँती स अनुग्रह, दया अउर सान्ति मिलइ।
3As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,
3मैसिडोनिया जात समइ मइँ तोह सबन स जउन इफिसुस मँ ठरहा रहइ क कहे रहेउँ, मइँ अबहुँ उही आग्रह-क दोहरावत रहेउँ। ताकि तू उहाँ कुछ लोगन क झूठा उपदेश देत रहइ,
4Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
4कल्पना स भरी कहानी अउर अनन्त वंसावलिन पर जउन लड़ाई-झगड़ा क बढ़ावा देत हीं, अउर परमेस्सर क ओह प्रयोजन क सिद्ध नाहीं होइ देत हीं, जउन बिसवासे पर टिका बा, धियान देइ स रोक सकइँ
5Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
5एह आग्रह क प्रयोजन बा उ पिरेम जउन पवित्तर हिरदय, उत्तिम चेतना अउर छल रहित बिसवास स पैदा होत ह।
6From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
6कछू जने तउ इन बातन स छिटक क भटक गवा अहइँ अउर बेकार क वाद विवादन मँ जाईके फँसा बाटेन।
7Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.
7उ पचे व्यवस्था क उपदेसक तउ बनई चाहत हीं, मुला जउन कछू उ कहत रहेन य जेन्हन बातन पइ वो बहुत बल देत हयेन, ओन्हन तक क ओ सबइ नाहीं समझतेन।
8But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;
8हम अब इ जानित ह कि अगर केउ व्यवस्था क ठीक ठीक तरह स प्रयोग करइ, त व्यवस्था उत्तिम बाटइ।
9Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
9मतलब इ जानइ क बा कि व्यवस्था धर्मियन क बरे नाहीं बल्कि अबिसवासी, पापी, अउर अपवित्तर अधर्मियन, महतारी, बाप क मारी डावइवालन, हतियारन,
10For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
10व्यभिचारिन समलिंग कामुकन, सोसण कर्ता लोगन, झूठ क बोलवइयन, कसम तोड़इवालन यो अइसेन हीं अन्य कामन क बरे बा, जउन सिच्छा क विरोध मँ बा।
11According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
11उ सिच्छा परमेस्सर क महिमामय सुसमाचार क अनुसार बा। उ सुधन्य परमेस्सर स मिलत ह। अउर सुसमाचार क मोहका सँउपा गवा बा।
12And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
12मइँ, हामर पर्भू ईसू मसीह क धन्यबाद करत हउँ। मोका उहइ सक्ती दिहेस ह। उ मोका बिसवासी समझिके अपने सेवा मँ तैनात किहे बाटइ।
13Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
13जद्यपि पहिले मइँ ओकर अपमान करइवाला, सतावइवाला अउर एक बिनयरहित मनई रहेउँ। मुला मोहे पइ दया कीन्ह गइ काहेकि एक अबिसवासी क रूपे मँ इ नाहीं जानत भए कि मइँ का कछू करत हउँ मइँ सब कछू किहेउँ।
14And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
14अउर पर्भू इ अनुग्रह मोका बहुतायत स मिला ह अउर साथे ही उ बिसवास अउर पिरेम उ जउन मसीह ईसू मँ बा।
15This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
15इ कथन सही बा अउर सब केउ क स्वीकार करइ जोग्ग बा कि मसीह ईसू एह संसारे मँ पापियन क उद्धार करइ बरे आई-बाटइ। सच मइँ तउ सबसे बड़ा पापी हउँ।
16Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
16अउर इही बरे तउ मोहे पइ दया कीन्ह गइ। कि मसीह ईसू एक बड़इका पापी क रूपे मँ मोर उपयोग करत आगे चलिके जउन लोग ओहमाँ बिसवास ग्रहण करिहीं, ओनके बरे अनन्त जीवन मिलइ बरे एक उदाहरण क रूप मँ मोका स्थापित कइके आपन असीम सहनसीलता देखॉइ सकइ।
17Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
17अब उ अनन्त सम्राट अविनासी, अदृस्य एक मात्र परमेस्सर क युग युगान्तर तक सम्मान अउर महिमा होत रहइ। आमीन।
18This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;
18मोर बच्चा तीमुथियुस! नबियन क बचनन क अनुसार बहुत पहिले स ही तोहरे सम्बन्धे मँ जउन भविस्सबाणियन कइ दीन्ह गइ रहिन, मइँ तोहका इ हुकुम देत अही जम कइ ताकि तू ओनके अनुसार
19Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:
19बिसवास अउर उत्तम चेतना स सहित होइके नेकी क लड़ाई जम कइ लड़ सका। कछू अइसेन हयेन जेनकर उत्तिम चेतना अउर बिसवास रूपी जहाज बूड़ गवा बा।
20Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.
20हुमिनयुस अउर सिकन्दर अइसेन ही हयेन। हम ओनका सइतान क सँउप दिहे हई ताकि ओनका परमेस्सर क विरोध मँ परमेस्सर क निन्दा करइ स रोकई क पाठ पढ़ावा जाइ सकइ।
