1Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,
1पौलुस कइँती स जउन परमेस्सर क इच्छा स ईसू मसीह क प्रेरित अहइ। अउर जेका मसीह ईसू मँ जीवन पावइ क प्रतिज्ञा क प्रचार करइ के बरे भेजा गवा बा।
2To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
2पियारा बेटवा तीमुथियुस क नाउँ: परमपिता अउर हमरे पर्भू मसीह ईसू कइँती स तोहे अनुग्रह दया अउर सान्ति मिलइ।
3I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;
3रात दिन आपन पराथनन मँ हमेसा तोहार याद करत भवा, मइँ ओह परमेस्सर क धन्यबाद करत हउँ, अउर ओकर सेवा अपने पूर्वजन क रीति क अनुसार सुद्ध मने स करत हउँ।
4Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy;
4मोरे बरे तू जउन आँसू बहाए अहा, ओकर याद कइके मइँ तोहसे मिलइ क आतुर हउँ, ताकि आनन्द स भर उठउँ!
5When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.
5मोका तोहार उ सच्चा बिसवास भी याद बा जउन पहिले तोहार नानी लोइस अउर तोहर महतारी यूनीके मँ रहा। मोका भरोसा बा कि उहइ बिसवास तोहरे भी मँ बा।
6Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.
6इही बरे मइँ तोहे याद देवावत हउँ कि परमेस्सर क भेट क ओह जुवाला क जलाइ राखा जउन तोहे सब क मिली रही जब तोह प मइँ आपन हाथ रखे रहेउँ।
7For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
7काहेकि परमेस्सर तउ हमका जउन आतिमा दिहे बाटइ, उ हमका कायर नाहीं बनवत बल्कि हमका सक्ती, पिरेम, अउर आतमसंयम स भरि देत ह।
8Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
8इही बरे तू हमरे पर्भू या मोर, जउन ओनके बरे बन्दी बना भवा बा, साच्छी देइ स लजा जिन। बल्कि तोहका परमेस्सर जउन सक्ति बाटइ, ओसे परमेस्सर क सक्ती दुआरा जातना झेलइ मँ मोर साथ द्या।
9Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
9उहइ हमका रच्छा किहेस अउर पवित्तर जीवन क बरे हमका बोलाए अहइ-हमार आपन ओह कीन्ह कर्मन क आधार प नाहीं, बल्कि ओकरे आपन ओह प्रयोजन अउर अनुग्रह क अनुसार जउन परमेस्सर द्वारा मसीह ईसू मँ हमका पहिले ही अनादीकाल स सऊँप दीन्ह गवा बा।
10But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
10परन्तु अब हमार बचावइवाले ईसू मसीह क परगट होइ क साथे-साथे हमरे बरे प्रकासित कीन्ह गवा बा। उ मउत क अन्त कइ दिहेस अउर जीवन अउर अमरता क सुसमाचार क द्वारा प्रकासित किहे बाटइ।
11Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
11इही सुसमाचार क फइलावइ क बरे मोका एक प्रचारक, प्रेरित अउर सिच्छक क रूप मँ नियुक्त कीन्ह गवा बा।
12For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
12अउर इहइ कारण अहइ जेहसे मइँ एन बातन क दुख उठावत अहउँ। अउर फिन भी लज्जित नाहीं हउँ काहेकि जेह प मइँ बिसवास किहे हउँ, मइँ ओका जानत हउँ अउर मइँ इ मानत हउँ कि उ मोका जउन सँऊपे अहइ, उ ओकर रच्छा करइ मँ समर्थ बाटइ जब तलक उ दिन आवइ,
13Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
13ओह अच्छी सिच्छा क जेका तू मोसे सुने अहा, ओका बिसवास अउर पिरेम मँ, जो मसीह ईसू मँ अहइ ओकर आपन आदर्स सिच्छा बनाए रहा।
14That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.
14हमरे भीतर निवास करइवाली पवित्तर आतिमा क द्वारा तू उस सत्य की रच्छा करा, जउन तोहका सँउप गवा बा।
15This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.
15जइसेन कि तू जानत ह कि उ सभन जउन एसिया मँ रहत हीं, मोका छोड़ ग रहेन। फुगिलुस अउर हिरमुगिनेस ओनहीं मँ स अहइँ।
16The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:
16उनेसिफुरुस क परिवारे प पर्भू दया करइ। काहेकि उ कइयउ अवसरन प मोका सुख पहुँचाए रहा। अउर उ मोरे जेल मँ रहइ स सरमान नाहीं।
17But, when he was in Rome, he sought me out very diligently, and found me.
17बल्कि उ तउ जब रोम आवा रहा, जब तलक मोसे मिल नाहीं लिहेस, जतन स मोका निरन्तर ढूँढ़त रहा।
18The Lord grant unto him that he may find mercy of the Lord in that day: and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus, thou knowest very well.
18पर्भू करइ ओका, ओह दिन पर्भू कइँती स दया मिलइ, ओ इफिसुस मँ मोरी तरह-तरह स जउन सेवा किहेस ह कउनो तरह स उ सेव किहेस ओका तू अच्छी तरह स जानत अहा।
