1Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
1पिआरे बच्चन क समान परमेस्सर क अनुकरण करा।
2And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
2पिरेम क साथे जिआ ठीक वइसेन ही जइसे मसीह हमसे पिरेम कीहे अहइ अउर अपने आप क, सुगन्धि सुलगाइके बलि भेंट क रूप मँ हमरे बरे परमेस्सर क अर्पित कइ दिहे अहइ।
3But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
3तोहरे बीच यौन अनाचार अउर हर कउनो तरह क अपवित्तरता अउर लालच कर् चर्चा तक न चलइ चाही। जइसेन कि परमेस्सर क पवित्तर जनन क बरे उचित बाटई।
4Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
4तू न तऊ असलील भाखा क प्रयोग होइ चाही, न मूर्खतापूर्ण बात या भद्दी हँसी ठट्टा। इ तोहरे अनुकूल नाहीं अहइ। बल्कि तोहरे बीच धन्यबाद ही दीन्ह जाइ।
5For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
5काहेकि तू निस्चय क साथे इ जानत ह कि अइसेन कउनउ भी मनई जउन दुराचारी अहइ, अपवित्तर अहइ अउर लालची अहइ (जउन एक मूर्तिपूजक होइ जइसा अहइ) मसीह क अउर परमेस्सर क, राज्य क उत्तराधिकार नाहीं पाई सकत।
6Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
6देखा। तोहे कउनउ सब्दन स केउ छल न लेइ। काहेकि बुरी बातन क कारण ही आज्ञा क उल्लंघन करइवालन पर परमेस्सर क कोप होइ क अहइ।
7Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
7इही बरे ओनकर साथी न बना।
8For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
8इ मइँ एह बरे कहत हउँ कि एक समइ रहा जब तू अंधकार स भरा रह्या परन्तु अब तू पर्भू क अनुयायी क रूप मँ ज्योति स भरापूरा अहा। इही बारे प्रकासित बेटवन क स आचरण करा।
9(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
9हर प्रकार क उत्तम जीवन, नेकी अउर सत्य मँ ज्योति का प्रतिफल देखाइ पडत ह।
10Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
10सब तरह इ जानइ क जतन करत रहा कि परमेस्सर क का भावत ह।
11And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
11अइसेन काम जउन बुरे बाटेन, अन्धकार मँ लोग करत हीं ओन्हन बेकार क कामन मँ हिस्सा न बटावा बल्कि ओनकर भण्डा-फोड़ करा।
12For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
12काहेकि अइसेन काम जेका उ पचे गुपचुप करत हीं। ओनके बारे मँ कीन्ह गइ चर्चा तक लाज का बात बा।
13But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
13ज्योति जब प्रकासित होत ह तउ सब कछू घ्स्यमान होइ जात ह कि उ का अहइ।
14Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
14अउर जउन कछू घ्श्यमान प्रकास क सामने आवत ह, उ खुद ज्योति ही बनि जात ह। इही बरे हमार भजन कहत ह: "जाग अरे, ओ सोवइवाले मउत मँ स जी उठि बइठा, खुद मसीह प्रकासित होई तोहरे ही सिर बइठी।"
15See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
15इही बरे सावधानी क साथे देखत रहा कि तू कइसा जीवन जिअत अहा। विवेकहीन क स आचरण न करा, बल्कि बद्धिमान क स आचरण करा।
16Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
16जे हर समइ क अच्छा करम करइ क बरे दीन्ह भए वर्तमान मँ ओकर पूरा उपयोग करत ह, काहेकि इ दिन बुरा बा।
17Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
17मूर्खता स न रहत रहा बल्कि इ जान ल्या कि पर्भू क इच्छा का अहइ।
18And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
18मदिरापान कइके मतवाला जिन बना रहा काहेकि इही स कामुकता पइदा होत ह। एकरे विपरीत आतिमा स परिपूर्ण होइ जा।
19Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
19आपस मँ भजन, स्तुतिगयान अउर आध्यात्मिक गीतन क, परस्पर आदान-प्रदान करत रहा। अपने मने मँ पर्भू क बरे गीत गावत ओकर स्तुति करत रहा।
20Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
20हर कीहीउँ बात क बरे हमार पर्भू ईसू मसीह क नाउँ पइ हमरे परम पिता परमेस्सर क हमेसा धन्यबाद करा।
21Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
21मसीह क प्रति सम्मान क कारण एक दूसरे क अरपन कइ द्या।
22Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
22हे पतनियन, अपने-अपने पतियन क बरे अइसेन समर्पित रहा, जइसेन तू पर्भू क समर्पित होत ह।
23For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
23काहेकि अपने पत्नी क उप्पर ओकर पति ही प्रमुख अहइ। वइसेन ही जइसे हमार कलीसिया क सिखर मसीह बा। उ खुदई इ देह क उद्धार करत ह।
24Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
24जइसे कलीसिया मसीह क अधीन बा, वइसेन ही पत्नियन क सब बात मँ अपने-अपने पतियन क बरे समर्पित करइ चाही।
25Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
25हे पतियन, अपने पत्नियन स पिरेम करा। वइसेन ही जइसे मसीह कलीसिया स पिरेम किहेस अउर अपने आप क ओकरे बरे बलि कई दिहेस।
26That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
26ताकि उ ओका पर्भू क सेवा मँ जल मँ स्नान कराइके पवित्तर कई हमार घोसना क साथे परमेस्सर क अर्पित कइ देई।
27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
27इही तरह उ कलीसिया क एक अइसेन चमचमात दुलहिन क रूप मँ खुद क बरे पेस कइ सकत ह, जउन कलंक अउर पापन स मुक्त होइ, झुरियन स रहित होई, या जेहमाँ अइसेन अउर कउनउ कमन होइ। बल्कि उ पवित्तर होइ अउर हमेसा निर्दोस होइ।
28So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
28पतियन क अपने-अपने पत्नियन स उही तरह पिरेम करइ चाही जइसे उ खुद अपने देह स करत हीं। जे अपने पत्नी स पिरेम करत ह उ खुद अपेन आप स पिरेम करत ह।
29For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
29केउ अपने देह स तब कभउँ घिरना नाहीं करत, बल्कि उ ओका पालत-पोसत ह अउर ओकर ध्यान रखत ह। वइसेन ही जइसे मसीह अपने कलीसिया क,
30For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
30काहेकि हमउ त ओकरी काया क अंग अही।
31For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
31पवित्तर सास्तर कहत ह, "इही बरे एक मनई अपने महतारी बाप क छोड़ि के अपने पत्नी स बंध जात ह अउर दुन्नउ एक देह होइ जात हीं।"
32This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
32इ रहस्यपूर्ण सच बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बा अउर मइँ तोहे बताइत ह कि इ मसीह अउर कलीसिया पर लागू होत ह।
33Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
33तउन कछू भी होइ, तोहमाँ स हर कीहीउँ क अपने पत्नी स वइसेन ही पिरेम करई चाही जइसे तू खुद अपने आप क करत अहा। अउर एक पत्नी क आपन पति का डेरात भए आदर करइ चाही।
