¹Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

¹अतः सरगे क एक बोलावा मँ भागीदार हे पवित्तर भाइयो! आपन ध्यान ओह ईसू प लगाइ रखा जउन परमेस्सर क प्रतिनिधि अउर हमार घोसित बिसवास क अनुसार महायाजक अहइ।

²Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.

²जइसेन परमेस्सर क समूचा घरे मँ मूसा बिसवासी रहा वइसे ही ईसू भी जे ओका नियुक्त किहे रहा ओह परमेस्सर क बरे, बिसवास स भरा रहा।

³For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.

³जइसेन घर क निर्माण करइवाला खुद घर स जियादा आदर पावत ह, वइसेन ईसू मूसा स जियादा आदर का पात्र माना गवा अहइ।

⁴For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.

⁴काहेकि हर एक भवन क कउनउ न कउनउ बनावइ वाला होत ह, मुला परमेस्सर तउ सब चीज क सिरजनहार अहइ।

⁵And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;

⁵परमेस्सर क समूचा घराना मँ मूसा एक सेवक क समान विसवास पात्र रहा, उ ओन्हन बातन क साच्छी रहा जउन भविस्स मँ परमेस्सर क जरिये कही जाइ क रहिन।

⁶But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

⁶मुला परमेस्सर क घर मँ मसीह तउ एक बेटवा क रूपे मँ निस्ठावान योग्य अहइ अउर अगर हम अपने साहस अउर ओह आसा मँ बिसवास क बनाए रखित तउ हम ही ओकर घराना हई।

⁷Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,

⁷एह बरे पवित्तर आतिमा कहत हः “आज अगर ओकर सुना आवाज,

⁸Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

⁸जिन करा आपन हिरदय क जड़ रहेन किहे जइसेन बगावत क दिना मँ जब तू पचे रेगिस्तान मँ परमेस्सर क परखे रह्या

⁹When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.

⁹मोका परखेन तोहार पूर्वजन तउ, लिहेन परीच्छा धीरज क मोर ओ सबइ अउर देखेन काम मोर जेन्हे मइँ करत रहेउँ चालीस बरस!

¹⁰Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.

¹⁰इहइ रहा उ कारण जेसे क्रोधित मइँ ओन्हन लोगन स रहेउँ: अउर फिन मइँ कहे रहेउँ, ‘हिरदय एनकइ भटकत रहत रहेन हमेसा ही का नाहीं इ जानतेन जउन रस्ता मोर’

¹¹So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

¹¹क्रोध मँ मइँ इही स तब सपथ लइके कहे रहेउँ ‘इ कबहुँ बिस्राम मँ मोरे न सामिल होइहीं।”‘ भजन संहिता 95:7-11

¹²Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

¹²भाइयो तथा बहिनियो, देखत रहा कहूँ तोहमाँ स कउनो क मन मँ पाप अउर अबिसवास न समाइ जाइ जउन तोहे सजीव परमेस्सर से भी दूर भटिकाइ देइ।

¹³But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

¹³जब तलक इ “आजु” क दिना कहवावत ह, तू हर दिन परमेस्सर एक दुसरे क ढॉढ़स बंधावत रहा जइसेन तोहमाँ स कउनउ पाप क छलावा मँ पड़िके जड़ न बनि जाए।

¹⁴For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

¹⁴अगर हम अंत तक मजबूती क साथे अपने आरम्भ क बिसवास क थामे रहित ह तउ हम मसीह क भागीदारि बनि जाइत ह।

¹⁵While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

¹⁵जइसेन कि कहा भी गवा बाः “आजु अगर ओकर सुना आवाज! न करा आपन हिरदय क जड़ रहे किहे जइसेन कि बगावत क दिनन मँ।” भजन संहिता 95:7-8

¹⁶For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.

¹⁶भला उ पचे कउन रहेन जइसेन उ पचे सुनेन अउर बिद्रोह किहेन? का उ पचे उहइ सब नाहीं रहेन जेन्हे मूसा तउ मिस्र स बचाइ क निकाले रहा?

¹⁷But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?

¹⁷उ चालीस बरसन तलक केन पइ क्रोधित रहा? का ओनहीं प नाहीं जे पाप किहे रहेन अउर जेनकर ल्हास रेगिस्तान मँ पड़ा रहेन?

¹⁸And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?

¹⁸परमस्सर कनके बरे सपथ उठाए रहा कि उ पचे ओकर बिस्राम मँ प्रवेस न कर पइहीं? का उ पचे उहइ सब नाहीं रहेन जे ओनके आज्ञा क उल्लंघन किहे रहेन?

¹⁹So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

¹⁹एह तरह हम देखित अही कि उ पचे अपने अबिसवासे क कारण ही उहाँ प्रवेस पावइ मँ समर्थ नाहीं होइ सका रहेन।
