1Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;
1पौलुस कइँती स जेका परमेस्सर क चुना भआ प्रेरित लोगन क ओनका बिसवास मँ सहायता देइ क बरे अउर हमरे धरम क सच्चाई क पूरा गियान क रहनुमाई क बरे भेजा गवा बा, इ सब, लोगन क परमेस्सर की सेवा क मार्ग बताइ।
2In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
2उ मइँ अइसेन एह बरे करत हुँ कि परमेस्सर क चुने हुअन क अनन्त जीवन क आस बाँधइ। परमेस्सर, जउन कभउँ झूठ नाहीं बोलत, अनादि काल स अनन्त जीवन क बचन दिहे अहइ।
3But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;
3उचिते समइ पइ परमेस्सर अपने सुसमाचार क संसार क जानकारी बरे परगट किहेस। उहइ संदेस हमार उद्धारकर्ता परमेस्सर क आज्ञा स मोका सउँपा गवा बा।
4To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.
4हमार समान बिसवास मँ मोर सच्चा बेटवा तीतुस कः हमरे परमपिता परमेस्सर अउर उद्धारकर्ता मसीह ईसू कइँती स अनुग्रह अउर सान्ति मिलइ।
5For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:
5मइँ तोहे सबन क क्रीत मँ एह बरे छोड़ रेहउँ कि उहाँ कछू अधूरा रही गवा बा, तू ओका ठीकठाक कइ द्या अउर मोरे आदेस क अनुसार हर नगर मँ बुजुर्गन क नियुक्त करा
6If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.
6बुजुर्ग क नियुक्त तबहिं कीन्ह जाइ जब उ निर्दोस होइ। एक पत्नी ब्रती होइ। ओकर बचवन बिसवासी होइँ अउर अनुसासनहीनता क दोस ओनपर न लगावा जाइ सकइ। अउर उ पचे निरकुंस भी न होइँ।
7For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
7निरीच्छक निर्दोस अउर कउनउ खराबी स अछूता होइ चाही। काहेकि जेका परमेस्सर क काम सऊँपा गवा बा, ओका अड़ियल, चिड़चिड़ा, बहुत जियादा मदिरा पियइवाला, झगड़ालू, नीच कमाई क लोलुप न होइ चाही।
8But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;
8ल्कि ओका तउ अतिथियन क आवभगत करइवाला, नेकी क चाहइवाला, विवेक स भरा धर्मी, भगत, अउर अपने प नियन्त्रण रखइवाला होइ चाही।
9Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
9ओका ओह बिसवास करइ जोग्ग संदेसा क मजबूती स धारण किहे रहइ चाही जेकर ओका सिच्छा दीन्ह गइ अहइ, ताकि उ लोगन क सदसिच्छा दइके ओन्हे प्रबोधित कइ सकइ। अउर जउन एनकर विरोधी होइँ, ओनकर खण्डन कइ सकइ।
10For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:
10इ एह बरे इ बहुत जरूरी बा काहेकि उ सबइ बहुत अहइँ अउर उ पचे उपद्रवी होइके व्यर्थ क बात बनावत भए दुसरन क भटकावत हीं। मइँ विसेसरूप स गैर यहूदियन पृष्ठभूमि क लोगन क उल्लेख करत हउँ।
11Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.
11ओनकर तउ मुँह बन्द किन्ह देइ जाइ चाही। काहेकि उ पचे जउन बातन नाहीं सिखावइ क बाटिन, ओन्हे सिखावत भए घर बिगाड़त रहत हीं। खराब रस्तन धन कमाइ क बरे ही ओ अइसेन करत हीं।
12One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.
12एक क्रीत क नबियन त अपने लोगन क बारे मँ खुद कहे बाटइः “क्रीत क निवासी हमेसा झूठ बोलत हीं, उ पचे जंगली पसु अहइँ, उ सबइ आलसी बाटेन, पेटू अहइँ।”
13This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;
13इ कथन सही बा, इही बरे ओनका बलपूर्वक डाँटा-फटकारा ताकि उ सत्य बिसवास क अनुसरण कइ सकइ।
14Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
14यहूदियन क पुरान कथनन अउर ओन्हन लोगन क हुकुमन पइ, जउन सत्य स भटकि गवा हयेन, कउनउ धियान न द्या।
15Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
15पवित्तर लोगन क बरे सब कछू पवित्तर बाटइ, मुला जउन पापे स असुद्ध अहइँ अउर जेनमाँ बिसवास नाहीं बा, ओनके बरे कछू भी पवित्तर नाहीं बा। वरन ओनकर मन अउर विवेक दुइनो हीं असुद्ध अहइँ।
16They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
16उ पचे परमेस्सर क जानइ क दावा करत हीं। मुला ओनकर करम दर्सावत हीं कि ओ पचे ओका जनबइ नाहीं करतेन। उ पचे घृणित अउर आज्ञा क उल्लंघन करइवाला अहइँ। अउर कउनउ अच्छा काम करइ काम क करइ मँ उ असमर्थ अहइँ।
