¹In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.

¹Niadtong mga adlawa si Ezechias nasakit nga nagaungaw sa kamatayon, ug si Isaias nga manalagna ang anak ni Amos miadto kaniya, ug miingon kaniya: Kini mao ang gipamulong ni Jehova: Hikayon mo ang imong balay; kay ikaw mamatay, ug dili mabuhi.

²Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying,

²Unya gilingi niya ang iyang nawong sa bungbong, ug nag-ampo kang Jehova, nga nagaingon:

³I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

³Hinumdumi karon, Oh Jehova, ako nagapakilooy kanimo, giunsa ko ang paglakaw sa atubangan nimo sa kamatuoran, ug sa usa ka hingpit nga kasingkasing, ug gibuhat ko kadtong maayo sa imong panan-aw. Ug mihilak si Ezechias sa hilabihan.

⁴And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying,

⁴Ug nahitabo, sa wala pa mahilakaw si Isaias ngadto sa kinataliwad-an sa ciudad, nga ang pulong ni Jehova midangat kaniya, nga nagaingon:

⁵Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.

⁵Bumalik ka, ug ingna si Ezechias ang principe sa akong katawohan: Kini mao ang gipamulong ni Jehova, ang Dios ni David nga imong amahan: Gidungog ko ang imong pag-ampo nakita ko ang imong mga luha: Ania karon, ikaw pakaayohon ko; sa ikatolo ka adlaw ikaw mosaka ngadto sa balay ni Jehova.

⁶And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.

⁶Ug dugangan ko ang imong mga adlaw sa napulo ug lima ka tuig; ug ako magaluwas kanimo niining ciudara gikan sa kamot sa hari sa Asiria; ug ako magapanalipod niining ciudara tungod sa akong kaugalingon, ug tungod sa akong alagad nga si David.

⁷And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.

⁷Ug si miingon: Kuhaa ninyo ang usa ka tinorta nga igos. Ug ilang gikuha, ug ilang gibutang sa ibabaw sa hubag, ug siya naayo.

⁸And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the LORD the third day?

⁸Ug si Ezechias miingon kang Isaias: Unsa ba ang ilhanan nga si Jehova magaayo kanako, ug nga ako mosaka ngadto sa balay ni Jehova sa ikatolo ka adlaw.

⁹And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?

⁹Ug si Isaias miingon: Kini mao ang ilhanan kanimo gikan kang Jehova, nga buhaton ni Jehova ang butang nga iyang gipamulong: maga-una ba ang anino sa napulo ka lakang, kun mosibug ba sa napulo ka lakang?

¹⁰And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.

¹⁰Ug si Ezechias mitubag: Usa ka masayon nga butang nga ang anino mohilig sa napulo ka lakang: dili, kondili pasibuga hinoon ang anino sa likod sa napulo ka lakang?

¹¹And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the LORD: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.

¹¹Ug si Isaias nga manalagna misinggit kang Jehova; ug iyang gipasibug ang anino sa napulo ka lakang, sumala sa nahimo sa orasan ni Achaz,

¹²At that time Berodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah: for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick.

¹²Niadtong panahona si Berodach-baladan ang anak nga lalake ni Baladan, hari sa Babilonia, nagpadala ug mga sulat ug usa ka gasa kang Ezechias; kay nakadungog siya nga si Ezechias nasakit.

¹³And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and showed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armor, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah showed them not.

¹³Ug si Ezechias namati kanila, ug gipakita kanila ang tibook balay sa iyang mahal nga mga butang, ang salapi ug ang bulawan, ug ang mga panakot, ug ang mahal nga lana, ug ang balay sa iyang hinagiban, ug sa tanan nga nakita sa iyang mga bahandi; walay butang sa iyang balay, bisan sa tibook niyang gingharian, nga wala ipakita kanila ni Ezechias.

¹⁴Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon.

¹⁴Unya miadto si Isaias nga manalagna kang Ezechias nga hari, ug miingon kaniya: Unsay giingon niining mga tawo? Ug diin gikan sila nga nanganhi man kanimo? Ug si Ezechias miingon: Sila gikan sa halayong yuta bisan sa Babilonia.

¹⁵And he said, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All the things that are in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not showed them.

¹⁵Ug siya miingon: Unsay nakita nila sa imong balay? Ug si Ezechias mitubag: Ang tanan nga ania sa akong balay ilang nakita: walay butang sa akong bahandi nga wala nako ipakita kanila.

¹⁶And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD.

¹⁶Ug si Isaias miingon kang Ezechias: Pamatia ang pulong ni Jehova.

¹⁷Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.

¹⁷Ania karon, ang mga adlaw moabut na , nga ang tanan nga anaa sa imong balay, ug ang tinigum sa imong amahan, hangtud niining adlawa, pagadad-on ngadto sa Babilonia: walay mahabilin, namulong si Jehova.

¹⁸And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.

¹⁸Ug sa imong mga anak nga lalake nga matawo kanimo, ilang pagadad-on: ug sila mahimo nga mga eunuco sa palacio sa hari sa Babilonia.

¹⁹Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, if peace and truth be in my days?

¹⁹Unya namulong si Ezechias kang Isaias: Maayo ang pulong ni Jehova nga imong gipamulong. Labut pa, miingon siya: Dili ba matuod nga ang pagpakigdait ug kamatuoran modangat sa akong mga adlaw?

²⁰And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

²⁰Ug ang nahabilin nga mga buhat ni Ezechias, ug ang tanan nga iyang gahum, ug giunsa niya paghimo ang danaw, ug ang kanal, ug gidala ang tubig ngadto sa ciudad, wala ba sila mahisulat sa basahon sa mga Cronicas sa Juda?

²¹And Hezekiah slept with his fathers: and Manasseh his son reigned in his stead.

²¹Ug si Ezechias natulog uban sa iyang mga amahan, ug si Manases nga iyang anak nga lalake naghari ilis kaniya.
