¹The priests the Levites, and all the tribe of Levi, shall have no part nor inheritance with Israel: they shall eat the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and his inheritance.

¹Ang mga sacerdote nga Levihanon, ang tanan nga banay ni Levi, walay bahin bisan panulondon uban kang Israel: magakaon sila sa mga halad kang Jehova nga hinimo pinaagi sa kalayo, ug sa iyang panulondon.

²Therefore shall they have no inheritance among their brethren: the LORD is their inheritance, as he hath said unto them.

²Ug sila walay panulondon sa taliwala sa ilang mga igsoon; si Jehova mao ang ilang panulondon, ingon sa iyang gisulti kanila.

³And this shall be the priest's due from the people, from them that offer a sacrifice, whether it be ox or sheep; and they shall give unto the priest the shoulder, and the two cheeks, and the maw.

³Ug kini mao ang bahin sa mga sacerdote gikan sa katawohan, gikan sa mga magahalad sa halad, bisan vaca kun carnero, nga igahatag nila sa sacerdote ang abaga, ug ang mga apapangig, ug ang tungol.

⁴The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the fleece of thy sheep, shalt thou give him.

⁴Ang unang mga abut sa imong mga trigo, ug sa imong bag-ong vino, ug sa imong mga lana, ug ang una sa mga balhibo sa imong mga carnero igahatag mo kaniya:

⁵For the LORD thy God hath chosen him out of all thy tribes, to stand to minister in the name of the LORD, him and his sons for ever.

⁵Kay gipili siya ni Jehova nga imong Dios gikan sa tanan mong mga banay aron nga magatindog kini sa pag-alagad sa ngalan ni Jehova, siya ug ang iyang mga anak nga lalake nga sa walay katapusan.

⁶And if a Levite come from any of thy gates out of all Israel, where he sojourned, and come with all the desire of his mind unto the place which the LORD shall choose;

⁶Ug kong ang Levihanon magagikan sa usa sa imong mga ganghaan sa tibook Israel, diin siya magalangyaw, ug moabut siya nga adunay bug-os nga tinguha sa iyang kalag ngadto sa dapit nga pagapilion ni Jehova;

⁷Then he shall minister in the name of the LORD his God, as all his brethren the Levites do, which stand there before the LORD.

⁷Unya magaalagad siya sa ngalan ni Jehova nga iyang Dios, ingon man ang tanan niyang mga igsoon nga lalake nga mga Levihanon nga nagatindog didto sa atubangan ni Jehova.

⁸They shall have like portions to eat, beside that which cometh of the sale of his patrimony.

⁸Magabaton sila ug samang bahin nga pagakan-on, labut sa gikan sa pagbaligya sa iyang katigayonan.

⁹When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

⁹Sa makaabut ka na sa yuta nga gihatag kanimo ni Jehova nga imong Dios, dili ka magtoon sa pagbuhat ingon sa mga kangil-ad niadtong mga nasud.

¹⁰There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.

¹⁰Dili hikaplagan uban kanimo ang bisan kinsa nga magpaagi sa iyang anak nga lalake kun anak nga babaye sa kalayo, usa nga nagagamit sa pagtagna, usa nga nagapanghimalad, kun anting-antingan, kun diwatahan;

¹¹Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

¹¹Kun magwiwili, kun magpapakitambag sa mga kailang espiritu, kun mag-iila nga malalangon, kun magpapangutana sa mga minatay.

¹²For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

¹²Kay dulumtanan alang kang Jehova ang bisan kinsa nga magabuhat niining mga butanga: ug tungod niining mga dulumtanan gisalikway sila ni Jehova nga imong Dios sa imong atubangan.

¹³Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.

¹³Magmahingpit ikaw uban kang Jehova nga imong Dios.

¹⁴For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.

¹⁴Kay kining mga nasud, nga imong pagaagawon nagapatalinghug sa mga nanagpanagna ug sa mga diwatahan; apan mahitungod kanimo, si Jehova nga imong Dios wala magtugot kanimo sa pagbuhat niini.

¹⁵The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

¹⁵Si Jehova nga imong Dios magapatindog alang kanimo gikan sa imong taliwala, sa imong mga igsoon, usa ka manalagna nga sama kanako; kaniya magpatalinghug kamo;

¹⁶According to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.

¹⁶Sumala sa tanan nga imong gipangayo kang Jehova nga imong Dios sa Horeb sa sadlaw sa pagkatigum, nga nagaingon: Ayaw na ako pagpadungga sa tingog ni Jehova nga akong Dios, ayaw na usab ako pagpakitaa niining dakung kalayo, aron dili ako mamatay.

¹⁷And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.

¹⁷Ug si Jehova miingon kanako: Maayo ang ilang pagpanubag sa ilang gisulti.

¹⁸I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

¹⁸Magapatindog ako kanila sa taliwala sa ilang mga igsoon, usa ka manalagna nga sama kanimo; ug igabutang ko ang akong mga pulong sa iyang baba ug siya magasulti kanila sa tanan nga igasugo ko kaniya.

¹⁹And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

¹⁹Ug mahitabo nga bisan kinsa nga dili magapatalinghug sa akong mga pulong nga iyang igasulti sa akong ngalan, akong pagapanilngon kini kaniya.

²⁰But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.

²⁰Apan ang manalagna nga magapangahas pagsulti ug pulong sa akong ngalan, nga wala ko pagasugoa sa pagsulti, kun magsulti sa ngalan sa uban nga mga dios, ang mao nga manalagna mamatay.

²¹And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?

²¹Ug kong mag-ingon ka sa imong kasingkasing: Unsaon namo pag-ila sa pulong nga wala igasulti ni Jehova?

²²When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

²²Sa magsulti ang usa ka manalagna sa ngalan ni Jehova, kong ang butang dili matuman ni mahitabo, mao kana ang butang nga wala isulti ni Jehova; ang manalagna nagapangahas sa pagsulti niini, dili ka mahadlok kaniya.
