¹Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.

¹Ug si Jehova miingon kang Moises: Karon makita mo kong unsay buhaton ko kang Faraon: kay pinaagi sa kamot nga kusgan magatugot siya sa pagpalakat kanila, ug sa kamot nga kusgan sila pagaabogon niya ngadto sa gawas sa iyang yuta.

²And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD:

²Ug ang Dios misulti kang Moises, ug miingon kaniya: ako si Jehova:

³And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.

³Ug ako mipakita kang Abraham, kang Isaac, ug kang Jacob, ingon nga Dios nga Makagagahum sa ngatanan; apan mahatungod sa akong ngalan nga Jehova. ako wala nila hiilhi.

⁴And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.

⁴Ug gitukod ko usab ang akong tugon uban kanila, sa paghatag kanila sa yuta sa Canaan, ang yuta sa ilang mga pagpanaw, diin sila nagdumuloong.

⁵And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.

⁵Ug labut pa nadungog ko ang pag-agulo sa mga anak sa Israel, nga ginaulipon sa mga Egiptohanon; ug nahinumduman ko ang akong tugon.

⁶Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:

⁶Tungod niini, mag-ingon ka sa mga anak sa Israel: Ako mao si Jehova, ug ako magadala kaninyo sa gawas sa mga mabug-at nga lulan sa mga Egiptohanon, ug pagabawion ko kamo gikan sa kaulipnan nila, ug pagatubson ko kamo uban sa bukton nga tinuy-od, ug uban sa dagkung mga paghukom:

⁷And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

⁷Ug pagakuhaon ko kamo ingon nga akong katawohan, ug ako mainyong Dios: ug managpakaila kamo nga ako si Jehova nga inyong Dios, nga nagapagula kaninyo gikan sa ilalum sa mga mabug-at nga lulan sa mga Egiptohanon.

⁸And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the LORD.

⁸Ug pagadad-on ko kamo ngadto sa sulod sa yuta nga gipanumpa ko sa paghatag kang Abraham, kang Isaac, ug kang Jacob; ug igahatag ko kini kaninyo nga panulondon: ako mao si Jehova.

⁹And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.

⁹Ug si Moises misulti sa ingon sa mga anak sa Israel: apan sila wala magpanimati kang Moises tungod sa kataka sa espiritu, ug tungod sa mapintas nga kaulipnan.

¹⁰And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

¹⁰Ug si Jehova misulti kang Moises, nga nagaingon:

¹¹Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.

¹¹Lakat, sultihi si Faraon, hari sa Egipto, aron magapagula siya sa mga anak sa Israel sa iyang yuta.

¹²And Moses spake before the LORD, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips?

¹²Ug si Moises misulti sa atubangan ni Jehova, nga nagaingon: Tan-awa, ang mga anak sa Israel wala magpanimati kanako; nan unsaon sa pagpanimati ni Faraon kanako, nga ako dili cinircuncidahan ug mga ngabil?

¹³And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.

¹³Ug si Jehova misulti kang Moises ug kang Aaron, ug mihatag kanila ug sugo alang sa mga anak sa Israel, ug kang Faraon, hari sa Egipto, sa pagpagula sa mga anak sa Israel sa yuta sa Egipto.

¹⁴These be the heads of their fathers' houses: The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel; Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi: these be the families of Reuben.

¹⁴Kini mao ang mga pangulo sa mga panimalay sa ilang mga ginikanan: ang mga anak nga lalake ni Ruben, ang panganay ni Israel; si Hanoc, ug si Palu, si Hezron, ug si Carmi: kini sila mao ang mga banay ni Ruben.

¹⁵And the sons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman: these are the families of Simeon.

¹⁵Ug ang mga anak nga lalake ni Simeon: si Jemuel, ug si Jamin, ug si Ohad, ug si Jakin, ug si Sohar, ug si Saul ang anak sa usa ka babaye nga Canaanhon; kini mao ang mga banay ni Simeon.

¹⁶And these are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari: and the years of the life of Levi were an hundred thirty and seven years.

¹⁶Ug kini mao ang mga ngalan sa mga anak ni Levi sumala sa ilang mga kaliwatan; si Gerson, ug si Coath, ug si Merari: ug ang mga tuig sa kinabuhi ni Levi usa ka gatus katloan ug pito ka tuig.

¹⁷The sons of Gershon; Libni, and Shimi, according to their families.

¹⁷Ang mga anak nga lalake ni Gerson: si Libni, ug si Shimi, sumala sa ilang mga banay.

¹⁸And the sons of Kohath; Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel: and the years of the life of Kohath were an hundred thirty and three years.

¹⁸Ug ang mga anak nga lalake ni Coath: si Amram, ug si Isar, ug si Hebron ug si Uriel. Ug ang mga tuig sa kinabuhi ni Coath, usa ka gatus katloan ug totolo ka tuig.

¹⁹And the sons of Merari; Mahali and Mushi: these are the families of Levi according to their generations.

¹⁹Ug ang mga anak nga lalake ni Merari: si Mahali, ug si Musi: kini sila mao ang mga banay ni Levi sumala sa ilang mga kaliwatan.

²⁰And Amram took him Jochebed his father's sister to wife; and she bare him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram were an hundred and thirty and seven years.

²⁰Ug si Amram mikuha alang sa pagkaasawa niya kang Jocabed, igsoong babaye sa iyang amahan; ug gianak ni Jocabed kaniya si Aaron ug si Moises. Ug ang tuig sa kinabuhi ni Amram usa ka gatus katloan ug pito ka tuig.

²¹And the sons of Izhar; Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.

²¹Ug ang mga anak nga lalake ni Isar: Si Cora, ug si Nepheg, ug si Sikri.

²²And the sons of Uzziel; Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Zithri.

²²Ug ang mga anak nga lalake ni Uriel: Si Misael, ug si Elsapan, ug si Sitri.

²³And Aaron took him Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to wife; and she bare him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

²³Ug si Aaron mikuha sa pagkaasawa niya kang Elisabeth, anak nga babaye ni Aminadab, nga igsoon nga babaye ni Naason; ug gianak ni Elisabeth kaniya si Nadab, ug si Abiu, ug si Eleazar, ug si Ithamar.

²⁴And the sons of Korah; Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these are the families of the Korhites.

²⁴Ug ang mga anak nga lalake ni Cora: Si Aser ug si Elcana, ug si Abiasap: kini sila mao ang mga panimalay sa mga Corahanon.

²⁵And Eleazar Aaron's son took him one of the daughters of Putiel to wife; and she bare him Phinehas: these are the heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families.

²⁵Ug si Eleazar, anak nga lalake ni Aaron, mikuha ug usa niya sa mga anak nga babaye ni Putiel sa pagkaasawa; ug kini mianak kaniya kang Pinees. Kini mao ang mga pangulo sa mga amahan sa mga Levihanon sumala sa ilang mga kabanayan.

²⁶These are that Aaron and Moses, to whom the LORD said, Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies.

²⁶Kini mao man kadto si Aaron, ug si Moises kang kinsa si Jehova miingon: Kuhaa ang mga anak sa Israel sa yuta sa Egipto sumala sa ilang mga panon.

²⁷These are they which spake to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt: these are that Moses and Aaron.

²⁷Kini mao sila ang nanagsulti kang Faraon nga hari sa Egipto aron sa pagkuha gikan sa Egipto sa mga anak sa Israel. Si Moises ug si Aaron mao kini sila.

²⁸And it came to pass on the day when the LORD spake unto Moses in the land of Egypt,

²⁸Ug nahitabo sa adlaw nga misulti si Jehova kang Moises sa yuta sa Egipto,

²⁹That the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, I am the LORD: speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee.

²⁹Nga si Jehova misulti kang Moises, nga nagaingon: Ako si Jehova: magsulti ka kang Faraon nga hari sa Egipto sa tanan nga mga butang nga ginasulti ko kanimo.

³⁰And Moses said before the LORD, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me?

³⁰Ug si Moises miingon sa atubangan ni Jehova: Ania karon, ako dili cinircuncidahan sa mga ngabil, ug unsaon sa pagpatalinghug ni Faraon kanako.
