¹Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD's house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.

¹Labut pa gibayaw ako sa Espiritu, ug gidala ako ngadto sa silangan nga pultahan sa balay ni Jehova, nga nagalantaw sa silangan: ug ania karon, sa pultahan sa ganghaan may kaluhaan ug lima ka mga tawo; ug akong nakita sa taliwala nila si Jaazanias ang anak nga lalake ni Azur, ug si Pelatias ang anak nga lalake ni Benaia, nga mga principe sa katawohan.

²Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:

²Ug siya miingon kanako: Anak sa tawo, mao kini ang mga tawo nga nanaglalang ug kasal-anan, ug nanaghatag dautang tambag niining ciudara;

³Which say, It is not near; let us build houses: this city is the caldron, and we be the flesh.

³Nga nagaingon: Dili haduol ang panahon sa pagtukod ug mga balay: kining ciudara mao ang kawa ug kita mao ang unod.

⁴Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.

⁴Busa managna ka batok kanila; managna ka, Oh anak sa tawo.

⁵And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the LORD; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them.

⁵Ug ang Espiritu ni Jehova nahulog sa ibabaw nako, ug siya miingon kanako: Sulti: Mao kini ang giingon ni Jehova: Mao kini ang giingon ninyo: Oh balay sa Israel; kay ako nahibalo sa mga butang nga moabut sa inyong hunahuna.

⁶Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.

⁶Kamo nagpadaghan sa inyong mga pinatay niining ciudara, ug gipuno ninyo ang kadalanan sa mga pinatay.

⁷Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.

⁷Busa mao kini ang giingon sa Ginoong Jehova: Ang inyong mga pinatay nga inyong gibutang sa taliwala niini, sila unod man, ug kining ciudara mao ang kawa; apan kamo pagapagulaon gikan sa taliwala niini.

⁸Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord GOD.

⁸Kamo nahadlok sa espada sa mga Caldeahanon ; ug dad-on ko ang pinuti diha kaninyo, nagaingon ang Ginoong Jehova.

⁹And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.

⁹Ug pagapagulaon ko kamo gikan sa taliwala niana, ug itugyan ko kamo ngadto sa mga kamot sa mga dumuloong, ug ipakanaug ko ang hukom sa taliwala ninyo.

¹⁰Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

¹⁰Kamo mangapukan pinaagi sa espada; pagahukman ko kamo diha sa utlanan sa Israel; ug kamo makaila nga ako mao si Jehova.

¹¹This city shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; but I will judge you in the border of Israel:

¹¹Kining ciudara dili mahimo nga inyong kawa, ni mahimo kamo nga unod sa taliwala niana; pagahukman ko kamo diha sa utlanan sa Israel;

¹²And ye shall know that I am the LORD: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.

¹²Ug kamo makaila nga ako mao si Jehova: kay wala kamo maglakaw sa akong kabalaoran, ni managtuman kamo sa akong mga tulomanon, hinonoa nanagbuhat sumala sa mga tulomanon sa mga nasud nga nagalibut kaninyo.

¹³And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?

¹³Ug nahatabo, sa diha nga ako nagpanagna, nga si Pelatias ang anak nga lalake ni Benaia namatay. Unya mihapa ako, ug misinggit sa usa ka hataas nga tingog, ug miingon: Ah! Ginoong Jehova! tibawason mo ba sa hingpit ang nahibilin sa Israel?

¹⁴Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

¹⁴Ug ang pulong ni Jehova midangat kanako, nga nagaingon:

¹⁵Son of man, thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, are they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from the LORD: unto us is this land given in possession.

¹⁵Anak sa tawo, ang imong mga igsoon, bisan ang imong mga kaigsoonan gayud, ang mga tawo nga sa imong kaliwat, ug ang tibook nga balay sa Israel, silang tanan, mao sila ang giingon sa mga pumoluyo sa Jerusalem: Magpahilayo kamo gikan kang Jehova; kanamo kining yutaa gihatag aron panag-iyahon.

¹⁶Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.

¹⁶Busa umingon ka: Mao kini ang giingon sa Ginoong Jehova: Tungod kay gisalikway ko sila ngadto sa halayo taliwala sa mga nasud, ug tungod kay akong gipatibulaag sila sa mga kayutaan, bisan pa niana ako mahimong balaan nga puloy-anan sa diriyut nga panahon alang kanila didto sa mga kayutaan diin sila moadto.

¹⁷Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.

¹⁷Busa umingon ka : Mao kini ang giingon sa Ginoong Jehova: Tigumon ko kamo gikan sa mga katawohan, ug pundokon ko kamo gikan sa mga kayutaan diin kamo gipatibulaag, ug ako magahatag kaninyo sa yuta sa Israel.

¹⁸And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.

¹⁸Ug sila mamauli dinhi, ug ilang kuhaon ang tanang makapaluod nga mga butang niini ug ang tanang mga dulumtanan gikan dinhi.

¹⁹And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

¹⁹Ug ako magahatag kanila sa usa ka kasingkasing, ug ako magbutang sa usa ka bag-ong espiritu sa sulod ninyo; ug kuhaon ko ang batoon nga kasingkasing gikan sa ilang unod, ug hatagan ko sila sa kasingkasing nga unod;

²⁰That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

²⁰Aron sila makalakaw sa akong kabalaoran, ug makabantay sa akong mga tulomanon, ug makabuhat niana: ug sila mahimo nga akong katawohan ug ako mahimo nga ilang Dios.

²¹But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD.

²¹Apan mahatungod kanila kang kinsang kasingkasing nagasunod sa kasingkasing sa ilang mga butang nga makapaluod ug sa ilang mga dulumtanan, dad-on ko ang ilang dalan diha sa ibabaw sa ilang kaugalingon nga mga ulo, nagaingon ang Ginoong Jehova.

²²Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

²²Unya ang mga querubin ming-alsa sa ilang mga pako, ug ang mga ligid diha sa tupad nila; ug ang himaya sa Dios sa Israel diha sa ibabaw nila.

²³And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.

²³Ug ang himaya ni Jehova mikayab gikan sa taliwala sa ciudad, ug mihunong sa ibabaw sa bukid nga anaa sa sidlakan nga kiliran sa ciudad.

²⁴Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.

²⁴Ug gibayaw ako sa Espiritu, ug gidala ako sa usa ka panan-awon pinaagi sa Espiritu sa Dios ngadto sa Caldea, kanila nga mga atua sa pagkabinihag. Busa ang panan-awon nga akong nakita mikayab gikan kanako.

²⁵Then I spake unto them of the captivity all the things that the LORD had shewed me.

²⁵Unya gisultihan ko ang mga atua sa pagkabinihag mahitungod sa tanang mga butang nga gipakita ni Jehova kanako.
