¹The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.

¹Ang palas-anon sa Egipto. Ania karon, si Jehova nagasakay sa ibabaw sa usa ka panganod nga matulin, ug moanha sa Egipto: ug ang mga dios-dios sa Egipto mokurog sa iyang atubangan; ug ang kasingkasing sa Egipto matunaw sa taliwala niini.

²And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.

²Ug agdahon ko ang mga Egiptohanon batok sa mga Egiptohanon: ug sila manag-away ang tagsatagsa batok sa iyang igsoon, ug ang tagsatagsa batok sa iyang silingan; ciudad batok sa ciudad, ug gingharian batok sa gingharian.

³And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.

³Ug ang espiritu sa Egipto mawala sa taliwala niini; ug akong pagalaglagon ang iyang pagtambag: ug sila manangup ngadto sa mga dios-dios, ug sa mga lumayan, ug kanilang mga espiritista, ug sa mga salamangkiro.

⁴And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.

⁴Ug itugyan ko ang mga Egiptohanon sa kamot sa usa ka mabangis nga agalon; ug ang usa ka hari nga mapintas maoy mohari kanila, nag-ingon ang Ginoo, si Jehova sa mga panon.

⁵And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up.

⁵Ug ang mga tubig sa dagat mohubas, ug ang suba mokutat ug mangamala.

⁶And they shall turn the rivers far away; and the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither.

⁶Ug ang mga suba mangabaho; ang mga sapa sa Egipto mohubas ug momala; ang mga bagakay ug mga lampakanay mangalaya.

⁷The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more.

⁷Ang mga sibsibanan ubay sa Nilo, ubay sa tampi sa Nilo, momala, matitian, ug mawagtang.

⁸The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish.

⁸Ug ang mga mangingisda managbakho, ug ang tanan nga managtugpo ug taga sa Nilo managminatay, ug ang mga managtaktak sa baling sa mga katubigan magaanam ug kaut-ut.

⁹Moreover they that work in fine flax, and they that weave networks, shall be confounded.

⁹Labut pa, mangalibog kadtong managkigi ug lino, ug kadtong managhabol ug maputing panapton.

¹⁰And they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make sluices and ponds for fish.

¹⁰Ug ang mga haligi sa Egipto pagadugmokon; silang tanan nga managbuhat tungod sa suhol pagapasub-on diha sa kalag.

¹¹Surely the princes of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings?

¹¹Ang mga principe sa Zoan mga buangbuang sa hilabihan gayud; ang tambag niadtong labing mga maalamon nga magtatambag ni Faraon mahimong minananap: unsaon ninyo ang pag-ingon kang Faraon: Ako mao ang anak nga lalake sa manggialamon, ang anak nga lalake sa mga hari nga karaan?

¹²Where are they? where are thy wise men? and let them tell thee now, and let them know what the LORD of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt.

¹²Nan hain na man ang imong manggialamon nga mga tawo? ug pasultia sila karon kanimo; ug pahibaloa sila kong unsa ang gitinguha ni Jehova sa mga panon mahatungod sa Egipto.

¹³The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived; they have also seduced Egypt, even they that are the stay of the tribes thereof.

¹³Ang mga principe sa Zoan nangahimong mga buang, ang mga principe sa Memphis gipanaglimbongan; ang Egipto nga mao ang bato sa pamag-ang sa iyang mga banay gipasalaag nila.

¹⁴The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit.

¹⁴Ang espiritu nga masinalaypon gisagol ni Jehova diha sa iyang taliwala; ug gipasalaag nila ang Egipto sa tanan niyang bulohaton, ingon sa usa ka tawong hubog nga nagasamparay diha sa iyang sinuka.

¹⁵Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do.

¹⁵Wala nay bisan unsang bulohaton alang sa Egipto, nga mahimo nga ulo kun ikog, palwa kun banban.

¹⁶In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it.

¹⁶Nianang adlawa ang mga Egiptohanon mahasama sa mga babaye; ug sila mangurog ug mangahadlok tungod sa pag-uyog sa kamot ni Jehova sa mga panon, nga iyang giuyog sa ibabaw nila.

¹⁷And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it.

¹⁷Ug ang yuta sa Juda mahimong usa ka kalisangan alang sa Egipto; ang tagsatagsa nga makabati sa paghisgut niini mahadlok, sa tuyo ni Jehova sa mga panon, nga iyang ginatinguha batok niini.

¹⁸In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction.

¹⁸Nianang adlawa may lima ka mga ciudad sa yuta sa Egipto nga mosulti sa pinulongan sa Canaan, ug manumpa tungod kang Jehova sa mga panon; ang usa pagatawgon: Ang ciudad sa kalaglagan.

¹⁹In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD.

¹⁹Nianang adlawa may halaran alang kang Jehova sa taliwala sa yuta sa Egipto, ug usa ka haligi kang Jehova didto sa utlanan niini.

²⁰And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.

²⁰Ug kini mahimong usa ka timaan ug usa ka saksi kang Jehova sa mga panon didto sa yuta sa Egipto; kay sila managtu-aw kang Jehova tungod sa mga malupigon, ug siya magapadala kanila ug usa ka manluluwas, ug usa ka manlalaban, ug sila pagaluwason niya.

²¹And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform it.

²¹Ug si Jehova pagailhon sa Egipto, ug ang mga Egiptohanon makaila kang Jehova nianang adlawa; oo, sila managsimba uban ang paghalad ug mga halad; sila magasaad ug panaad kang Jehova, ug ilang tumanon kini.

²²And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.

²²Ug pagasamaran ni Jehova ang Egipto: siya magasamad ug magaayo kaniya; ug sila mamalik ngadto kang Jehova, ug siya malooy kanila, ug pagaayohon sila.

²³In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.

²³Nianang adlawa igabutang ang usa ka dalan nga halapad gikan sa Egipto ngadto sa Asiria, ug ang Asirianhon mangadto sa Egipto, ug ang Egiptohanon ngadto sa Asiria, ug ang mga Egiptohanon managsimba uban sa mga Asirianhon.

²⁴In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:

²⁴Nianang adlawa ang Israel mahimo nga ikatolo uban sa Egipto ug uban sa Asiria, usa ka panalangin sa taliwala sa yuta;

²⁵Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.

²⁵Kay niana si Jehova sa mga panon manalangin, nga magaingon: Bulahan ang Egipto nga akong katawohan, ug ang Asiria ang buhat sa akong mga kamot, ug ang Israel ang akong panulondon.
