¹In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.

¹Niadtong adlawa ni Jehova sa iyang magahi ug daku ug malig-on nga espada ang leviathan ang matulin nga halas, ug ang leviathan ang baliko nga halas; ug iyang pagapatyon ang dragon nga anaa sa dagat.

²In that day sing ye unto her, A vineyard of red wine.

²Niadtong adlawa: Ang usa ka parrasan sa vino, manag-awit kamo mahatungod niini.

³I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.

³Ako si Jehova mao ang magbalantay niini; pagabisibisan ko kini sa tagsa ka gutlo: aron kini dili pagasamaran ni bisan kinsa, pagabantayan ko kini sa adlaw ug sa gabii.

⁴Fury is not in me: who would set the briers and thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together.

⁴Ang kaligutgut wala diri kanako: hinaut unta nga ang mga sampinit ug mga tunok mingbatok kanako sa panggubatan? Dasmagan ko unta sila, sunogon ko unta sila sa tingob.

⁵Or let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me.

⁵Kun sa laing pagkaagi pahawira siya sa akong kusog, aron siya makahimo ug pakigdait uban kanako; oo , pahimoa siya ug pakigdait uban kanako.

⁶He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.

⁶Sa mga adlaw nga umalabut si Jacob mogamot; si Israel mamulak ug mamutot; ug pagapun-on nila ang nawong sa kalibutan sa bunga.

⁷Hath he smitten him, as he smote those that smote him? or is he slain according to the slaughter of them that are slain by him?

⁷Iya ba nga gisamaran sila ingon sa pagsamad niya niadtong nanagsamad kanila? kun gipamatay ba sila sumala sa kamatay niadtong gipamatay nila?

⁸In measure, when it shooteth forth, thou wilt debate with it: he stayeth his rough wind in the day of the east wind.

⁸Sa sukod sa imong pagpaadto kanila sa halayo, ikaw nakigbisog gayud uban kanila; iyang gipalagpot sila uban sa iyang makusog nga huros sa adlaw sa hangin nga timog.

⁹By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.

⁹Tungod niini ang kasal-anan ni Jacob pagapasayloon, ug kini mao ang tanan nga bunga sa pagkuha sa iyang sala: nga ginahimo niya ang tanan nga mga bato sa halaran ingon sa mga bato nga anupog nga gipulpog, aron ang mga Asherim ug ang mga larawan sa adlaw dili na gayud mamakod.

¹⁰Yet the defenced city shall be desolate, and the habitation forsaken, and left like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof.

¹⁰Kay ang ciudad nga linig-on mamingaw man, usa ka puloy-anan nga biniyaan ug sinalikway, sama sa kamingawan: didto ang nating vaca magasibsib, ug didto siya magalobog, ug magakaon sa mga sanga niini.

¹¹When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set them on fire: for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will shew them no favour.

¹¹Sa diha nga ang mga sanga niini mangalaya, sila mangaputol; ang mga babaye manganhi ug magadaub kanila; kay kini maoy usa ka katawohan nga walay salabutan: tungod niini siya nga nagbuhat kanila, dili magabaton ug kalooy kanila, ug siya nga maoy nag-umol kanila, dili mopakita kanila ug kalooy.

¹²And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall beat off from the channel of the river unto the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel.

¹²Ug mahitabo niadtong adlawa, nga si Jehova modughit sa iyang bunga gikan sa pagbaha sa Suba ngadto sa sapa sa Egipto; ug kamo pagatapukon ang usa ug ang usa, Oh kamo nga mga anak sa Israel.

¹³And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.

¹³Ug mahitabo niadtong adlawa, nga ang usa ka dakung trompeta pagahuypon; ug sila manganhi ang mga andam sa pagkawala didto sa yuta sa Asiria, ug kadtong mga sinalibay didto sa yuta sa Egipto; ug sila magasimba kang Jehova didto sa balaang bukid sa Jerusalem.
