¹And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

¹Ug si Jehova misulti kang Moises ug kang Aaron, nga nagaingon:

²This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:

²Kini mao ang balaod sa kasugoan nga gitudlo ni Jehova, nga nagaingon: Isulti sa mga anak sa Israel nga magdala sila kanimo ug usa ka dumalaga nga vaca nga mapula, nga walay dagta, nga kaniya walay ikasaway, nga sa ibabaw niya wala pa masangoni ug yugo:

³And ye shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her forth without the camp, and one shall slay her before his face:

³Ug igahatag ninyo siya kang Eleazar nga sacerdote, ug siya magadala kaniya sa gawas sa campo; ug usa magapatay kaniya sa iyang atubangan.

⁴And Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle of her blood directly before the tabernacle of the congregation seven times:

⁴Ug magakuha si Eleazar nga sacerdote sa dugo niya sa iyang tudlo, ug magasablig sa atubangan sa balong-balong nga pagatiguman sa dugo niya sa makapito.

⁵And one shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn:

⁵Ug usa ang magasunog sa dumalaga nga vaca sa atubangan sa iyang mga mata, ang panit niya, ug ang unod niya, ug ang dugo niya, uban ang iyang tae pagasunogon niya.

⁶And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer.

⁶Unya magakuha ang sacerdote ug kahoy nga cedro, ug hisopo, ug mapula, ug igabutang niya sa taliwala sa kalayo nga nagasunog sa dumalaga nga vaca.

⁷Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even.

⁷Unya ang sacerdote magalaba sa iyang mga bisti, ug pagahugasan niya ang iyang unod sa tubig, ug sa human niini mosulod siya sa campo; ug mamahugaw ang sacerdote hangtud sa hapon.

⁸And he that burneth her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the even.

⁸Ug siya nga nagasunog niini, magalaba sa iyang mga bisti sa tubig, pagahugasan sa tubig ang iyang unod, ug mamahugaw siya hangtud sa hapon.

⁹And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin.

⁹Ang tawo nga mahinlo magatigum sa mga abo sa dumalaga nga vaca ug igabutang niya sa gawas sa campo sa dapit nga mahinlo, ug kana pagatipigan alang sa katilingban sa mga anak sa Israel alang sa tubig sa pagkabinulag: kini mao ang usa ka halad-tungod-sa-sala.

¹⁰And he that gathereth the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: and it shall be unto the children of Israel, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among them, for a statute for ever.

¹⁰Ug ang nagatigum sa mga abo sa dumalaga nga vaca magalaba sa iyang mga bisti, ug mamahugaw siya hangtud sa hapon: ug mamao kini alang sa mga anak sa Israel, ug sa dumuloong nga nagapanlangyaw sa taliwala nila, sa balaod nga walay katapusan.

¹¹He that toucheth the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.

¹¹Ang makahikap sa lawas nga patay ni bisan kinsa nga tawohana pito ka adlaw mamahugaw siya.

¹²He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.

¹²Kini pagaputlian sa ikatolo ka adlaw niining tubiga , ug sa ikapito ka adlaw mamahinlo siya; apan kong sa ikatolo ka adlaw dili siya magapaputli, sa ingon niana dili siya mamahinlo sa ikapito ka adlaw.

¹³Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.

¹³Bisan kinsa nga makahikap sa minatay sa lawas sa tawo nga namatay ug dili siya magapaputli, nagahugaw siya sa tabernaculo ni Jehova; ug kadtong kalaga pagaputlon gikan sa Israel: tungod kay ang tubig sa pagkabinulag wala ikasablig sa ibabaw niya, mamahugaw siya, ug ang iyang pagkahugaw anaa sa ibabaw niya.

¹⁴This is the law, when a man dieth in a tent: all that come into the tent, and all that is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.

¹⁴Kini mao ang kasugoan sa diha nga ang usa mamatay sulod sa balong-balong: bisan kinsa nga magasulod sa balong-balong ug ang tanan nga anaa sa balong-balong, mahugaw sa pito ka adlaw.

¹⁵And every open vessel, which hath no covering bound upon it, is unclean.

¹⁵Ug ang tagsatagsa ka galamiton nga sa ibabaw niini walay tabon nga mohaum gayud, mahugaw man.

¹⁶And whosoever toucheth one that is slain with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.

¹⁶Ug bisan kinsa nga anaa sa kapatagan makahikap sa gipatay pinaagi sa hinagiban, kun makahikap sa lawas nga patay, kun sa bukog sa usa ka tawo, kun sa lubnganan, mamahugaw siya sulod sa pito ka adlaw.

¹⁷And for an unclean person they shall take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of purification for sin, and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:

¹⁷Ug alang sa mahugaw magakuha sila sa abo sa gisunog sa halad-tungod-sa-sala; ug pagabuboan nila kini ug tubig nga nagaagay sinulod sa usa ka sudlanan:

¹⁸And a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched a bone, or one slain, or one dead, or a grave:

¹⁸Ug ang usa ka tawo nga mahinlo magakuha ug hisopo, ug igatuslob niya sa tubig, ug igasablig sa ibabaw sa balong-balong, ug sa ibabaw sa tanang mga ginamiton, ug sa ibabaw sa mga tawo nga atua didto, ug sa ibabaw niadtong mihikap sa bukog, kun sa gipatay, kun sa minatay, kun sa lubnganan:

¹⁹And the clean person shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at even.

¹⁹Ug ang tawo nga mahinlo magasablig sa ibabaw sa mahugaw sa ikatolo, ug sa ikapito ka adlaw: ug sa ikapito ka adlaw: magapaputli, ug magalaba siya sa iyang mga bisti, ug maligo sa tubig, ug mamahinlo sa hapon.

²⁰But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.

²⁰Apan sa tawo nga mamahugaw, ug dili magpaputli sa iyang kaugalingon, ang maong kalag pagaputlon sa taliwala sa katilingban, tungod kay gihugawan niya ang balaang puloy-anan ni Jehova: wala ikasablig sa ibabaw niya ang tubig sa pagkabinulag: mahugaw man siya.

²¹And it shall be a perpetual statute unto them, that he that sprinkleth the water of separation shall wash his clothes; and he that toucheth the water of separation shall be unclean until even.

²¹Ug kini mao ang balaod nga dayon kanila: ug ang magasablig sa tubig sa pagkabinulag, magalaba siya sa iyang mga bisti, ug ang magahikap sa tubig sa pagkabinulag mamahugaw siya hangtud sa hapon.

²²And whatsoever the unclean person toucheth shall be unclean; and the soul that toucheth it shall be unclean until even.

²²Ug bisan unsa nga mahikap sa tawong mahugaw, mahugaw man: ug ang kalag nga makahikap niini, mamahugaw hangtud sa hapon.
