¹And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

¹Ug nakita ko ang usa ka langit nga bag-o, ug ang usa ka yuta nga bag-o; kay ang nahauna nga langit ug ang nahauna nga yuta nangagi na; ug wala na ing dagat.

²And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

²Nakita ko ang ciudad nga balaan, ang bag-o nga Jerusalem, nga nanaug sa langit gikan sa Dios, nga naandam ingon sa usa ka pangasaw-onor, nga nadayandayanan alang sa iyang bana.

³And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

³Ug nadungog ko ang usa ka dakung tingog gikan sa trono, nga nagaingon: Ania karon, ang tabernaculo sa Dios uban sa mga tawo, ug siya magapuyo uban kanila, ug sila mahimong mga katawohan niya, ug ang Dios gayud magauban kanila, ug mahimo nga ilang Dios.

⁴And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

⁴Ug pagapahiran sa Dios ang tanang luha sa ilang mga mata; ug mawala ang kamatayon; ug wala nay pagbalata, bisan paghilak, bisan kasakit; kay ang mga butang nahauna ming-agi na.

⁵And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

⁵Ug siya nga nagalingkod sa trono, miingon: Ania karon, ginabag-o ko ang tanang mga butang. Ug siya nagaingon kanako: Isulat mo, kay kini nga mga pulong mga matinumanon ug mga matuod.

⁶And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

⁶Ug siya miingon kanako: Kini nahatabo na gayud: Ako mao ang Alpa ug ang Omega: ang sinugdan ug ang katapusan. Ang giuhaw, paimnon ko sa tuburan sa tubig sa kinabuhi sa walay bayad.

⁷He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

⁷Ang makadaug, manunod niining mga butanga; ug ako mahimo nga iyang Dios, ug siya mahimo nga akong anak.

⁸But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

⁸Apan ang mga talawan, ug ang mga maduhaduhaon, ug ang mga malaw-ayon, ug ang mga mamumuno, ug ang mga makighilawason, ug ang mga lumayan, ug ang mga nagasimba sa mga dios-dios, ug ang tanan nga mga bakakon, mabahinan sila didto sa linaw, nga nagadilaab sa kalayo ug azufre; nga mao ang kaduha nga kamatayon.

⁹And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.

⁹Ug miabut ang usa sa pito ka mga manolonda, nga may pito ka mga panaksan, nga puno sa pito ka mga katapusang hampak, ug nakigsulti kanako, nga nagaingon: umari ka diri, igapakita ko kanimo ang pangasaw-onon, ang asawa sa Cordero.

¹⁰And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

¹⁰Ug sa Espiritu gidala niya ako ngadto sa usa ka daku ug hataas nga bukid, ug iyang gipakita kanako ang balaan nga ciudad nga Jerusalem, nga nanaug sa langit gikan sa Dios,

¹¹Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

¹¹Nga may himaya sa Dios: ang iyang kahayag sama sa usa ka hamili gayud nga bato, ingon sa bato nga jaspe, nga matin-aw ingon sa salamin:

¹²And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

¹²Nga may usa ka kuta nga daku ug hataas, ug may napulo ug duha ka mga ganghaan, ug haduol sa mga ganghaan napulo ug duha ka mga manolonda, ug mga ngalan nahasulat niini, nga mao ang mga ngalan sa napulo ug duha ka banay sa mga anak sa Israel:

¹³On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.

¹³Sa Timogan may totolo ka mga ganghaan ug sa Amihanan may totolo ka mga ganghaan, ug sa Habagatan may totolo ka mga ganghaan, sa Kanawayan may totolo ka mga ganghaan.

¹⁴And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

¹⁴Ug ang kuta sa ciudad may napulo ug duha ka mga patukoranan, ug sa ibabaw nila ang napulo ug duha ka mga ngalan sa napulo ug duha ka mga apostoles sa Cordero.

¹⁵And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.

¹⁵Ug siya nga nakigsulti kanako, may usa ka metrosan nga bagakay nga bulawan, aron sa pagsukod sa ciudad, ug sa mga ganghaan niini, ug sa iyang kuta.

¹⁶And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.

¹⁶Ug ang ciudad maglaro, ug ang kataas niini mao usab sa iyang kalapad. Ug gisukod niya sa bagakay ang ciudad, nga may duha ka libo ug upat ka gatus ka mga kilometro: ang iyang kataas, ug ang iyang kahabug, ug ang iyang kalapad nagakasama.

¹⁷And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.

¹⁷Ug gisukod niya ang kuta niini, ug may usa usa ka gatus kap-atan ug upat ka siko, sumala sa sukod nga sa tawo, nga mao ang sa manolonda.

¹⁸And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.

¹⁸Ug ang tinukod nga kuta, bato nga jaspe; ug ang ciudad lunsay nga bulawan sama sa salamin nga ulay.

¹⁹And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;

¹⁹Ug ang mga patukoranan sa kuta sa ciudad dinayan-dayanan sa tanang bato nga hamili. Ang nahauna nga patukoronan, bato nga jaspe; ang ikaduha, zafiro; ang ikatolo, calcedonia; ang ikaupat, esmeralda;

²⁰The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.

²⁰Ang ikalima, sardonica; ang ika-unom, sardio; ang ikapito, crisolito; ang ikawalo, berilo; ang ikasiyam, topacio; ang ikanapulo, crissopraso; ang ikanapulo ug usa, jacinto; ang ikanapulo ug duha, amatista.

²¹And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

²¹Ug ang napulo ug duha ka mga ganghaan, napulo ug duha ka mga mutya; ang tagsatagsa sa mga ganghaan usa ka mutya. Ug ang dalan sa ciudad lunsay nga bulawan, ingon sa salamin nga masihag.

²²And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

²²Ug wala akoy nakita nga templo didto kay ang Ginoong Dios, ang Makagagahum, ug ang Cordero mao ang iyang templo niini.

²³And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

²³Ug ang ciudad walay kinahanglan nga pagapahayagan sa adlaw ug sa bulan; kay ginaiwagan siya sa himaya sa Dios, ug ang Cordero, mao ang iyang suga.

²⁴And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

²⁴Kay ang mga kanasuran manag-panlakaw sa taliwala sa kahayag niini; ug ang mga hari sa yuta magadala ngadto sa sulod niini sa ilang himaya.

²⁵And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

²⁵Ug ang iyang mga ganghaan dili pagasirhan gayud maadlaw (kay didto walay gabii).

²⁶And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

²⁶Ug pagadad-an siya sa himaya ug dungog sa kanasuran.

²⁷And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

²⁷Ug walay makasulod kaniya bisan kinsa nga mahugaw, ni ang nagabuhat sa kalaw-ayan ug bakak: kondili ang mga nahasulat lamang sa basahon sa kinabuhi sa Cordero.
