1Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
1ⲧⲉⲛϯϩⲟ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲛ⳿ⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⳿ⲧⲡⲁⲣⲟⲩⲥⲓⲁ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲛ⳪ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲉⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ϩⲱⲛ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ.
2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
2ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲩⲕⲓⲙ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲭⲱⲗⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙ⳿ϣⲑⲟⲣⲧⲉⲣ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲉⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲗⲏ ϩⲱⲥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁϥϧⲱⲛⲧ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⳿ⲡ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲠ⳪.
3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
3⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲛ⳿ⲑⲣⲉ ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⲉⲣϩⲁⲗ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⳿ⲛⲣⲏϯ ϫⲉ ⲁⲥ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ϯ ⳿ⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲁⲥⲓ⳿ⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲙⲓ⳿ⲁ ⳿ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲡⲧⲁⲕⲟ.
4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
4ⲡⲓⲁⲛⲧⲓⲕⲓⲙⲉⲛⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥϭⲓⲥⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲉⲛⲭⲁⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲓⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲟⲩϣⲉⲙϣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥϣⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲟⲛϩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩϯ ⲡⲉ.
5Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
5⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲓ ⲉⲛⲭⲏ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲓ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲛϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ.
6And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
6ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲟⲛ ⲡⲉⲧ⳿ⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲑⲣⲉϥϭⲱⲣⲡ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉϥⲥⲏ ⲟⲩ.
7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
7ⲡⲓⲙⲩⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲧ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲙⲓ⳿ⲁ ϩⲏⲇⲏ ⲥⲉⲉⲣϩⲱⲃ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲙⲟⲛⲟⲛ ⲡⲉⲧ⳿ⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ϣⲁⲧⲉϥⲗⲟϫϥ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲑⲙⲏϯ.
8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
8ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲟⲧⲉ ⲉϥ⳿ⲉϭⲱⲣⲡ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲁⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉ Ⲡ⳪ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲁⲧⲁⲕⲟϥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲣⲱϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ϥⲛⲁⲕⲟⲣϥϥ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲫⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉϥϫⲓⲛ⳿ⲓ.
9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
9ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⲡⲉϥϫⲓⲛ⳿ⲓ ⲉϥⲭⲏ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲟⲩⲉⲛⲉⲣⲅⲓⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲡⲥⲁⲧⲁⲛⲁⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲑⲛⲟⲩϫ.
10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
10ⲛⲉⲙ ⲁⲡⲁⲧⲏ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲡϭⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ ⳿ⲛⲛⲏⲉⲑⲛⲁⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲟⲩϣⲉⲡ ϯⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩⲛⲟϩⲉⲙ.
11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
11ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲫϯ ⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲉⲛⲉⲣⲅⲓⲁ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡⲗⲁⲛⲏⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩⲛⲁϩϯ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲙⲉⲑⲛⲟⲩϫ.
12That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
12ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲥⲉϯϩⲁⲡ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲛⲁϩϯ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁⲩϯⲙⲁϯ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲙⲉⲧϭⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ.
13But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
13⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲛ⳿ⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲥⲉⲙ⳿ⲡϣⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛϣⲉⲡ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛ ⲫϯ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲥⲏ ⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϧⲁ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲁ Ⲡ⳪ ⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁ ⲫϯ ⲥⲉⲧⲡ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲡⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲛⲁϩϯ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ.
14Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
14ⲉⲧⲉ ⲫⲏ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲑⲁϩⲉⲙ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲛⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲟⲛ ⲉⲩⲧⲁⲛϧⲟ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲡⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲛ⳪ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅.
15Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
15ϩⲁⲣⲁ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲛⲉⲛ⳿ⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲡⲁⲣⲁⲇⲟⲥⲓⲥ ⲉⲧⲁⲩ⳿ⲧⲥⲁⲃⲉ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲓⲧⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲓⲧⲉ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲉⲡⲓⲥⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁⲛ.
16Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
16⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉⲛ⳪ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲫϯ ⲡⲉⲛⲓⲱⲧ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϯ ⲛⲁⲛ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲛⲟⲙϯ ⳿ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲛⲉⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ.
17Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
