1Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
1ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧ.
2And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
2ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲟϣⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲟⲛ ⲉⲧⲁ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉⲣⲁⲅⲁⲡⲁⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲧⲏⲓϥ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲥⲫⲟⲣⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩϣⲟⲩϣⲱⲟⲩϣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲥⲑⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲥⲑⲟⲓⲛⲟⲩϥⲓ.
3But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
3ϯⲡⲟⲣⲛⲓⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲙ ϭⲱϧⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲓⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲣⲉϥϭⲓ⳿ⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲛ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲩϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲥⲣⲁⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲥⲉⲙ⳿ⲡϣⲁ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲁⲅⲓⲟⲥ.
4Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
4ⲛⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲧϣⲟⲩⲓⲧ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲉⲧⲥⲟϫ ⲓⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲉⲩ⳿ⲧⲣⲁⲡⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲥⲉⲙ⳿ⲡϣⲁ ⳿ⲛⲁⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲙⲁⲗⲗⲟⲛ ⲟⲩϣⲉⲡ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ.
5For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
5ⲫⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲟⲣⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲓⲉ ⲁⲕⲁⲑⲁⲣⲧⲟⲥ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲓⲉ ⲣⲉϥϭⲓ⳿ⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲧϣⲁⲙϣⲉ ⳿ⲓⲇⲱⲗⲟⲛ ⲧⲉ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛⲧⲉϥ ⳿ⲕⲗⲏ ⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓⲁ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲫϯ.
6Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
6⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲛ⳿ⲑⲣⲉ ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⲉⲣϩⲁⲗ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲩϣⲟⲩⲓⲧ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ϥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓϫⲱⲛⲧ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲓϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧⲑⲱⲧ ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ.
7Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
7⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲣϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϣⲫⲏⲣ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ.
8For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
8ⲛⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲛⲭⲁⲕⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲏⲟⲩ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ϧⲉⲛ Ⲡ⳪ ⲙⲟϣⲓ ϩⲱⲥ ϩⲁⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ.
9(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
9⳿ⲡⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲁϥ⳿ⲛ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉⲑⲛⲁⲛⲉϥ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲇⲓⲕⲉⲟⲥⲩⲛⲏ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ.
10Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
10ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲇⲟⲕⲓⲙⲁⲍⲓⲛ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲑⲣⲁⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲙⲠ⳪.
11And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
11ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲉⲣ⳿ϣⲫⲏⲣ ⳿ⲉⲛⲓ⳿ϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ ⳿ⲛⲁⲧⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲡⲭⲁⲕⲓ ⲙⲁⲗⲗⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲟϩⲓ.
12For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
12ⲛⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲁ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲛⲭⲱⲡ ⲟⲩϣⲓⲡⲓ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲉⲉⲣ⳿ⲡⲕⲉϫⲟⲧⲟⲩ.
13But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
13ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉϣⲁⲣⲉ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲥⲁϩⲱⲟⲩ ϣⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲱⲃ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲟⲛϩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲡⲉ.
14Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
14ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⳿ϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲧⲱⲛⲕ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉⲛⲕⲟⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲕ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲏⲉⲑⲙⲱⲟⲩⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲣⲉ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲕ.
15See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
15⳿ⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲁⲕⲣⲓⲃⲱⲥ ⲛⲁ⳿ⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲟϣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲁϣ ⳿ⲛⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲁⲛ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲁⲧ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲥⲁⲃⲉⲩ.
16Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
16ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲱⲡ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲏⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲥⲉϩⲱⲟⲩ.
17Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
17ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲣϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛⲁⲧϩⲏ ⲧ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲕⲁϯ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲫⲟⲩⲱϣ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ.
18And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
18ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲑⲓϧⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡⲏⲣⲡ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ϣⲟⲡ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϫⲏⲕ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅.
19Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
19ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲁϫⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲯⲁⲗⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ⲥⲙⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛϩⲱⲇⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ⲧⲓⲕⲟⲛ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲱⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲯⲁⲗⲓⲛ ⳿ⲙⲠ⳪ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ.
20Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
20ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲉⲡ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⳿ⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲫⲣⲁⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲛ⳪ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲫϯ ⳿ⲫⲓⲱⲧ.
21Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
21ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϭⲛⲟ ⳿ⲛϫⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲏⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ϯϩⲟϯ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅.
22Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
22ⲛⲓϩⲓ⳿ⲟⲙⲓ ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩϭⲛⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲛⲟⲩϩⲁⲓ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲙⲠ⳪.
23For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
23ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲧ⳿ⲁⲫⲉ ⳿ⲛϯ⳿ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲙⲠⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉⲧⲉ ⳿ⲧ⳿ⲁⲫⲉ ⳿ⲛϯⲉⲕ⳿ⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲧⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲡⲥⲱⲧⲏⲣ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲱⲙⲁ.
24Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
24ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲉϯⲉⲕ⳿ⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ϭⲛⲟ ⳿ⲛϫⲱⲥ ⳿ⲙⲠⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲓϩⲓ⳿ⲟⲙⲓ ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩϭ ⲛⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲛⲟⲩϩⲁⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ.
25Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
25ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲁⲣⲓⲁⲅⲁⲡⲁⲛ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲓ⳿ⲟⲙⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉⲣⲁⲅⲁⲡⲁⲛ ⳿ⲛϯⲉⲕ⳿ⲕⲗⲏ ⲥⲓⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲧⲏⲓϥ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲱⲥ.
26That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
26ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉⲁϥⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲱⲙⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡⲥⲁϫⲓ.
27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
27ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥⲧⲁϩⲉ ϯⲉⲕ⳿ⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲥ ⲉⲥϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲁϭⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧⲥ ⲓⲉ ⲑⲱⲗⲉⲃ ⲓⲉ ⳿ⲛⲭⲁⲓ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛⲛⲁⲓ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲥⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲥⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛⲁⲧⲑⲱⲗⲉⲃ.
28So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
28ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ϩⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲥⲉⲙ⳿ⲡϣⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲩⲉⲣⲁⲅⲁⲡⲁⲛ ⳿ⲛⲛⲟⲩϩⲓⲟⲙⲓ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲫⲏ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲧⲉⲣⲁⲅⲁⲡⲁⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥ⳿ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲁⲅⲁⲡⲁⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ.
29For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
29⳿ⲙⲡⲉ ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲙⲉⲥⲧⲉ ⲧⲉϥⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϣⲁϥϣⲁⲛⲟⲩϣⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϣⲁϥⲉⲣⲑⲁⲗⲡⲓⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ϩⲱϥ ⳿ⲙⲠⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉⲧⲁϥ⳿ⲓⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛϯⲉⲕ⳿ⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ.
30For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
30ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉϥⲥⲱⲙⲁ.
31For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
31ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲉⲣⲉ ⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲭⲁ ⲡⲉϥⲓⲱⲧ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲧⲉϥⲙⲁⲩ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥ⳿ⲉⲧⲟⲙϥ ⲉⲧⲉϥ⳿ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲃ̅ ⲉⲩⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ.
32This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
32ⲡⲁⲓⲙⲩⲥⲧⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ϯϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉⲠⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯⲉⲕ⳿ⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ.
33Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
