Revelation

13

1And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
1ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓϣⲱ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲫⲓⲟⲙ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲉϥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲫⲓⲟⲙ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲓ̅ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁⲡ ϩⲓϫⲱϥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲍ̅ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲁⲫⲉ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲇ̅ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲭⲗⲟⲙ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲧⲁⲡ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲣⲁⲛ ⳿ⲥϧⲏⲟⲩⲧ ϩⲓ ⲛⲉϥ⳿ⲁⲫⲏⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ.
2And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
2ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲛⲁϥⲟⲛⲓ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲡⲁⲣⲇⲁⲗⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲉϥϭⲁⲗⲁⲩϫ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛⲛⲁ ⲟⲩⲗⲁⲃⲟⲓ ⲉⲣⲉ ⲣⲱϥ ⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲱϥ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲇⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ ϯ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲉϥ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲛⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ.
3And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
3ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲉⲣϧⲟⲧ ϩⲓ ⲛⲉϥⲁⲫⲉ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩϧⲟⲗϧⲉⲗ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓⲉⲣϧⲟⲧ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉϥⲙⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲉⲣⲫⲁϧⲣⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲉⲣ⳿ϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⳿ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲥⲁⲫⲁϩⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ.
4And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
4ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⳿ϣϫⲟⲙ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲱⲧⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ.
5And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
5ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϯ ⲣⲱϥ ⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲉϫⲱ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲛϫⲉⲟⲩⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϯⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲱⲧⲥ ⳿ⲛⲙ̅ⲃ̅ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲁⲃⲟⲧ.
6And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
6ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛ ⳿ⲛⲣⲱϥ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲟⲩⲁ ⳿ⲉⲫϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲟⲩⲁ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲧⲉϥ⳿ⲥⲕⲩⲛⲏ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲧⲫⲉ.
7And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
7ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲧⲏⲓⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲓⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲃⲱⲧⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲁⲅⲓⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉϭⲣⲟ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩ ϯⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲫⲩⲗⲏ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲗⲁⲥ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ϣⲗⲟⲗ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ.
8And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
8ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲏⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⲡⲟⲩⲣⲁⲛ ⳿ⲥϧⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⲁⲛ ϩⲓ ⳿ⲡϫⲱⲙ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡⲱⲛϧ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓϩⲓⲏ ⲃ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁⲩϧⲉⲗϧⲟⲗϥ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ⳿ⲑⲕⲁⲧⲁⲃⲟⲗⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ.
9If any man have an ear, let him hear.
9ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲙⲁϣϫ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲉⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ.
10He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
10ⲫⲏⲉⲑⲛⲁϣⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲉⲭⲙⲁⲗⲱⲥⲓⲁ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥϣⲉ ⲫⲏⲉⲑⲛⲁϧⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲧⲥⲏϥⲓ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϧⲟⲑⲃⲉϥ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲧⲥⲏϥⲓ ⲫⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲉ ϯϩⲩⲡⲟⲙⲟⲛⲏ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲛⲁϩϯ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲁⲅⲓⲟⲥ ⲱⲟⲩ⳿ⲛⲓⲁⲧϥ.
11And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
11ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲓⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲕⲉⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲉϥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϣⲱⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲃ̅ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁⲡ ϩⲓϫⲱϥ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲩⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩϩⲓⲏⲃ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩ⳿ⲇⲣⲁⲕⲱⲛ.
12And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
12ⲡⲉϥⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲁϥ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓϩⲟⲩⲓⲧ ⳿ⲛⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲛⲁϥ⳿ⲓⲣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥ⳿ⲙⲑⲟ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥ⳿ⲑⲣⲉ ⳿ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲏⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ϩⲓⲱⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛϩⲟⲩⲓⲧ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁϥⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲉϥⲉⲣϧⲟⲧ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉϥⲙⲟⲩ.
13And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
13ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲓⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥ⳿ⲑⲣⲉ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲭⲣⲱⲙ ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲧⲫⲉ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉ⳿ⲙⲑⲟ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ.
14And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
14ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥ⳿ⲉⲥⲱⲣⲉⲙ ⳿ⲛⲛⲏⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲛⲓⲙⲏⲓⲛⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲧⲏⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲉⲁϥⲁⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉ⳿ⲙⲑⲟ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲛⲏⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲩⲑⲁⲙⲓ⳿ⲉ ϩⲩⲕⲱⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⳿ⲡⲉⲣϧⲟⲧ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲧⲥⲏϥⲓ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲱⲛϧ.
15And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
15ⲁⲩⲧⲏⲓⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲉϯ ⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⳿ⲉϯϩⲩⲕⲱⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉϧⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⳿ⲛⲛⲏⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲛⲥⲉⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⲁⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲧⲉϥϩⲩⲕⲱⲛ.
16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
16ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲑⲣⲉ ⲛⲓⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲛⲓϣϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲣⲁⲙⲁⲟⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓϩⲏⲕⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲣⲉⲙϩⲉⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲃⲱⲕ ⲉϥ⳿ⲉϣⲟⲗϩⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲟⲩϫⲓϫ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩ⳿ⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲧⲟⲩⲧⲉϩⲛⲓ.
17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
17ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⳿ϣϫⲉⲙϫⲟⲙ ⳿ⲛϣⲱⲡ ⲓⲉ ⳿ⲉϯ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲉⲃⲏⲗ ⳿ⲉⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϣⲱⲗϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲑⲏⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⲧⲟⲓ ϩⲓⲱⲧϥ ⲓⲉ ⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ ⲓⲉ ⳿ⲧⲏⲡⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉϥⲣⲁⲛ.
18Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
