1Hodočasnička pjesma. Kad Jahve vraćaše sužnjeve sionske, bilo nam je k'o da snivamo.
2Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.
2Usta nam bjehu puna smijeha, a jezik klicanja. Među poganima tad se govorilo: "Velika im djela Jahve učini!"
3The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
3Velika nam djela učini Jahve: opet smo radosni!
4Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.
4Vrati, o Jahve, sužnjeve naše k'o potoke negepske!
5They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
5Oni koji siju u suzama, žanju u pjesmi.
6He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
6Išli su plačući noseći sjeme sjetveno: vraćat će se s pjesmom, noseći snoplje svoje.
