1Again, David gathered together all the chosen men of Israel, thirty thousand.
1 Unwaith eto casglodd Dafydd yr holl wu375?r dethol oedd yn Israel, sef deng mil ar hugain,
2And David arose, and went with all the people that were with him from Baale of Judah, to bring up from thence the ark of God, whose name is called by the name of the LORD of hosts that dwelleth between the cherubim.
2 ac aeth 'r holl bobl oedd gydag ef i Baalath-jwda, i gyrchu oddi yno arch Duw, a enwir ar l ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd sydd 'i orsedd ar y cerwbiaid.
3And they set the ark of God upon a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that was in Gibeah: and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drave the new cart.
3 Rhoesant arch Duw ar fen newydd, a'i chymryd o du375? Abinadab sydd ar y bryn, ac yr oedd Ussa ac Aho, meibion Abinadab, yn tywys y fen newydd.
4And they brought it out of the house of Abinadab which was at Gibeah, accompanying the ark of God: and Ahio went before the ark.
4 Wedi cychwyn gydag arch Duw o du375? Abinadab sydd ar y bryn, yr oedd Aho yn cerdded o flaen yr arch,
5And David and all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of instruments made of fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals.
5 ac yr oedd Dafydd a holl du375? Israel yn gorfoleddu o flaen yr ARGLWYDD 'u holl ynni, dan ganu thelynau, nablau, tympanau, sistrymau a symbalau.
6And when they came to Nachon's threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it.
6 Pan ddaethant at lawr dyrnu Nachon, estynnodd Ussa ei law at arch Duw a gafael ynddi, am fod yr ychen yn ei hysgwyd.
7And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.
7 Enynnodd dicter yr ARGLWYDD yn erbyn Ussa, trawodd Duw ef am yr amarch, a bu farw yno wrth arch Duw.
8And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzzah: and he called the name of the place Perezuzzah to this day.
8 Cynhyrfodd Dafydd am fod llid yr ARGLWYDD wedi torri allan yn erbyn Ussa, a galwodd y lle hwnnw Peres Ussa; a dyna'i enw hyd y dydd hwn.
9And David was afraid of the LORD that day, and said, How shall the ark of the LORD come to me?
9 Yr oedd ofn yr ARGLWYDD ar Ddafydd y diwrnod hwnnw, a dywedodd, "Sut y deuai arch yr ARGLWYDD ataf fi?"
10So David would not remove the ark of the LORD unto him into the city of David: but David carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite.
10 Ni fynnai Dafydd symud arch yr ARGLWYDD ato i Ddinas Dafydd, ac fe'i trodd i du375? Obed-edom o Gath.
11And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obededom, and all his household.
11 Arhosodd arch yr ARGLWYDD yn nhu375? Obed-edom o Gath am dri mis, a bendithiodd yr ARGLWYDD Obed-edom a'i deulu i gyd.
12And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness.
12 Pan ddywedwyd wrth y Brenin Dafydd fod yr ARGLWYDD wedi bendithio teulu Obed-edom a'r cwbl oedd ganddo, o achos arch Duw, fe aeth Dafydd a chymryd arch Duw yn llawen o du375? Obed-edom i Ddinas Dafydd.
13And it was so, that when they that bare the ark of the LORD had gone six paces, he sacrificed oxen and fatlings.
13 Pan oedd cludwyr arch yr ARGLWYDD wedi cerdded chwe cham, aberthodd Dafydd ych ac anifail pasgedig.
14And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.
14 Yr oedd Dafydd yn gwisgo effod liain a dawnsiai 'i holl egni o flaen yr ARGLWYDD,
15So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.
15 wrth iddo ef a holl du375? Israel hebrwng arch yr ARGLWYDD banllefau a sain utgorn.
16And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal Saul's daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart.
16 Pan gyrhaeddodd arch yr ARGLWYDD Ddinas Dafydd, yr oedd Michal merch Saul yn edrych drwy'r ffenestr, a gwelodd y Brenin Dafydd yn neidio ac yn dawnsio o flaen yr ARGLWYDD, a dirmygodd ef yn ei chalon.
17And they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in his place, in the midst of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it: and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.
17 Daethant ag arch yr ARGLWYDD a'i gosod yn ei lle yng nghanol y babell a gododd Dafydd iddi, ac offrymodd Dafydd boeth-offrymau a heddoffrymau o flaen yr ARGLWYDD.
18And as soon as David had made an end of offering burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD of hosts.
18 Wedi iddo orffen off-rymu'r poethoffrwm a'r heddoffrymau, bendithiodd y bobl yn enw ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd;
19And he dealt among all the people, even among the whole multitude of Israel, as well to the women as men, to every one a cake of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine. So all the people departed every one to his house.
19 yna rhannodd fwyd i bawb, torth o fara, darn o gig, a swp o rawnwin i bob gu373?r a gwraig o holl dyrfa Israel. Yna aeth pawb adref.
20Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself!
20 Pan ddaeth Dafydd yn l i gyfarch ei deulu, daeth Michal merch Saul i'w gyfarfod a dweud, "O mor ogoneddus oedd brenin Israel heddiw, yn ei ddinoethi ei hun yng ngolwg morynion ei ddilynwyr, fel rhyw hurtyn yn dangos popeth!"
21And David said unto Michal, It was before the LORD, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel: therefore will I play before the LORD.
21 Ond meddai Dafydd wrthi, "Yr oedd hyn o flaen yr ARGLWYDD, a'm dewisodd i yn hytrach na'th dad na'r un o'i deulu, a gorchymyn imi fod yn arweinydd i Israel, pobl yr ARGLWYDD; yr wyf am ddangos llawenydd o flaen yr ARGLWYDD.
22And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight: and of the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honor.
22 Ie, gwnaf fy hun yn fwy dirmygus, ac yn is na hyn yn dy olwg; ond am y morynion hynny y soniaist amdanynt, byddaf yn anrhydeddus ganddynt hwy."
23Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death.
23 Bu Michal merch Saul yn ddiblentyn hyd ddydd ei marw.
