¹And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them.

¹ Galwodd Moses ar Israel gyfan, a dywedodd wrthynt: O Israel, gwrandewch ar y deddfau a'r cyfreithiau yr wyf yn eu llefaru yn eich clyw heddiw. Dysgwch hwy, a gofalwch eu gweithredu.

²The LORD our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.

² Gwnaeth yr ARGLWYDD ein Duw gyfamod � ni yn Horeb.

³The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.

³ Nid �'n hynafiaid y gwnaeth yr ARGLWYDD y cyfamod hwn, ond � ni i gyd sy'n fyw yma heddiw.

⁴The LORD talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire,

⁴ Llefarodd yr ARGLWYDD wyneb yn wyneb � chwi ar y mynydd o ganol y t�n.

⁵(I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to show you the word of the LORD: for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying,

⁵ Yr adeg honno yr oeddwn i yn sefyll rhwng yr ARGLWYDD a chwi i fynegi i chwi air yr ARGLWYDD, oherwydd yr oeddech chwi yn ofni'r t�n, ac nid aethoch i fyny i'r mynydd. Dyma a ddywedodd:

⁶I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

⁶ "Myfi yw'r ARGLWYDD dy Dduw, a'th arweiniodd allan o wlad yr Aifft, o du375? caethiwed.

⁷Thou shalt have none other gods before me.

⁷ "Na chymer dduwiau eraill ar wah�n i mi.

⁸Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:

⁸ "Na wna iti ddelw gerfiedig ar ffurf dim sydd yn y nefoedd uchod na'r ddaear isod nac yn y du373?r o dan y ddaear;

⁹Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,

⁹ nac ymgryma iddynt na'u gwasanaethu, oherwydd yr wyf fi, yr ARGLWYDD dy Dduw, yn Dduw eiddigus; yr wyf yn cosbi'r plant am ddrygioni'r rhieni hyd y drydedd a'r bedwaredd genhedlaeth o'r rhai sy'n fy nghas�u,

¹⁰And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

¹⁰ ond yn dangos trugaredd i filoedd o'r rhai sy'n fy ngharu ac yn cadw fy ngorchmynion.

¹¹Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

¹¹ "Na chymer enw'r ARGLWYDD dy Dduw yn ofer, oherwydd ni fydd yr ARGLWYDD yn ystyried yn ddieuog y sawl sy'n cymryd ei enw'n ofer.

¹²Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.

¹² "Cadw'r dydd Saboth yn gysegredig, fel y gorchmynnodd yr ARGLWYDD dy Dduw iti.

¹³Six days thou shalt labor, and do all thy work:

¹³ Chwe diwrnod yr wyt i weithio a gwneud dy holl waith,

¹⁴But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.

¹⁴ ond y mae'r seithfed dydd yn Saboth yr ARGLWYDD dy Dduw; na wna ddim gwaith y dydd hwnnw, ti na'th fab, na'th ferch, na'th was, na'th forwyn, na'th ych, na'th asyn, nac un o'th anifeiliaid, na'r estron sydd o fewn dy byrth, er mwyn i'th was a'th forwyn gael gorffwys fel ti dy hun.

¹⁵And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.

¹⁵ Cofia iti fod yn gaethwas yng ngwlad yr Aifft, ac i'r ARGLWYDD dy Dduw dy arwain allan oddi yno � llaw gadarn a braich estynedig; am hyn y gorchmynnodd yr ARGLWYDD dy Dduw iti gadw'r dydd Saboth.

¹⁶Honor thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

¹⁶ "Anrhydedda dy dad a'th fam, fel y gorchmynnodd yr ARGLWYDD dy Dduw iti, er mwyn amlhau dy ddyddiau ac fel y bydd yn dda arnat yn y wlad y mae'r ARGLWYDD dy Dduw yn ei rhoi iti.

¹⁷Thou shalt not kill.

¹⁷ "Na ladd.

¹⁸Neither shalt thou commit adultery.

¹⁸ "Na odineba.

¹⁹Neither shalt thou steal.

¹⁹ "Na ladrata.

²⁰Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbor.

²⁰ "Na ddwg gamdystiolaeth yn erbyn dy gymydog.

²¹Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbor's wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbor's house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbor's.

²¹ "Na chwennych wraig dy gymydog, na dymuno cael tu375? dy gymydog, na'i dir, na'i was, na'i forwyn, na'i ych, na'i asyn, na dim sy'n eiddo i'th gymydog."

²²These words the LORD spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me.

²² Llefarodd yr ARGLWYDD y geiriau hyn � llais uchel wrth eich holl gynulliad ar y mynydd o ganol y t�n, y cwmwl a'r tywyllwch, ac nid ychwanegodd ddim atynt. Yna ysgrifennodd hwy ar ddwy lechen garreg, a'u rhoi i mi.

²³And it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire,) that ye came near unto me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders;

²³ Pan glywsoch y llais o ganol y tywyllwch, a'r mynydd ar d�n, yna daeth penaethiaid eich llwythau a'ch henuriaid ataf,

²⁴And ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath showed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth.

²⁴ a dywedasoch, "Dangosodd yr ARGLWYDD ein Duw inni ei ogoniant a'i fawredd, ac fe glywsom ei lais o ganol y t�n; heddiw yr ydym yn gweld y gall bod meidrol fyw er i Dduw lefaru wrtho.

²⁵Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more, then we shall die.

²⁵ Yn awr, pam y byddwn ni farw? Bydd y t�n mawr hwn yn sicr o'n difa, a byddwn farw, os bydd inni glywed llais yr ARGLWYDD ein Duw eto.

²⁶For who is there of all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?

²⁶ A glywodd unrhyw un lais y Duw byw yn llefaru o ganol y t�n, fel yr ydym ni wedi ei glywed, a byw?

²⁷Go thou near, and hear all that the LORD our God shall say: and speak thou unto us all that the LORD our God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear it, and do it.

²⁷ Dos di, a gwrando ar y cyfan a ddywed yr ARGLWYDD ein Duw, ac yna mynega wrthym y cyfan a lefarodd yr ARGLWYDD ein Duw wrthyt; fe wrandawn ninnau ac ufuddhau."

²⁸And the LORD heard the voice of your words, when ye spake unto me; and the LORD said unto me, I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee: they have well said all that they have spoken.

²⁸ Pan glywodd yr ARGLWYDD y geiriau a lefarasoch wrthyf, dywedodd, "Yr wyf wedi clywed geiriau'r bobl hyn pan oeddent yn llefaru wrthyt; ac y mae'r cyfan a ddywedant yn wir.

²⁹O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

²⁹ O na fyddent yn meddwl fel hyn o hyd, ac yn fy ofni ac yn cadw'r cyfan o'm gorchmynion bob amser, fel y byddai'n dda iddynt hwy a'u plant am byth!

³⁰Go say to them, Get you into your tents again.

³⁰ Dos, a dywed wrthynt, 'Ewch yn �l i'ch pebyll.'

³¹But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it.

³¹ Saf di yma yn fy ymyl, ac fe lefaraf wrthyt yr holl orchmynion a'r deddfau a'r cyfreithiau yr wyt ti i'w dysgu iddynt, ac y maent hwy i'w cadw yn y wlad yr wyf yn ei rhoi iddynt i'w meddiannu."

³²Ye shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

³² Gofalwch wneud fel y mae'r ARGLWYDD eich Duw yn gorchymyn ichwi; peidiwch � throi i'r dde na'r chwith.

³³Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.

³³ Yr ydych i rodio yn �l y cyfan a orchmynnodd yr ARGLWYDD eich Duw ichwi, er mwyn i chwi gael byw a llwyddo, ac amlhau eich dyddiau yn y wlad y byddwch yn ei meddiannu.
