1The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews which dwell in the land of Egypt, which dwell at Migdol, and at Tahpanhes, and at Noph, and in the country of Pathros, saying,
1 Dyma'r gair a ddaeth at Jeremeia am yr holl Iddewon oedd yn byw yng ngwlad yr Aifft, sef yn Migdol, Tahpanhes a Noff, ac ym mro Pathros:
2Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Ye have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah; and, behold, this day they are a desolation, and no man dwelleth therein,
2 "Fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd, Duw Israel: 'Gwelsoch yr holl ddinistr a ddygais ar Jerwsalem ac ar holl ddinasoedd Jwda; y maent heddiw yn anghyfannedd, heb neb yn byw ynddynt,
3Because of their wickedness which they have committed to provoke me to anger, in that they went to burn incense, and to serve other gods, whom they knew not, neither they, ye, nor your fathers.
3 o achos y drygioni a wnaethant i'm digio, gan losgi arogldarth ac addoli duwiau eraill nad oeddent hwy na chwithau na'ch hynafiaid yn eu hadnabod.
4Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate.
4 Anfonais atoch fy holl weision y proffwydi, a'u hanfon yn gyson i ddweud, "Yn wir, peidiwch chyflawni'r ffieidd-beth hwn sydd yn gas gennyf."
5But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto other gods.
5 Ond ni wrandawsant, nac estyn clust i droi oddi wrth eu drygioni ac i beidio ag arogldarthu i dduwiau eraill.
6Wherefore my fury and mine anger was poured forth, and was kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as at this day.
6 Felly tywalltwyd fy llid a'm digofaint, a llosgi yn ninasoedd Jwda ac yn heolydd Jerwsalem, a'u gwneud yn anghyfannedd a diffaith, fel y maent heddiw.'
7Therefore now thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; Wherefore commit ye this great evil against your souls, to cut off from you man and woman, child and suckling, out of Judah, to leave you none to remain;
7 Yn awr, fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD Dduw y Lluoedd, Duw Israel: 'Pam yr ydych yn gwneud y drwg mawr hwn yn eich erbyn eich hunain, a thorri ymaith o Jwda u373?r a gwraig, plentyn a baban, fel nad oes gennych weddill yn aros?
8In that ye provoke me unto wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense unto other gods in the land of Egypt, whither ye be gone to dwell, that ye might cut yourselves off, and that ye might be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?
8 Pam yr ydych yn fy nigio i gwaith eich dwylo, ac yn arogldarthu i dduwiau eraill yng ngwlad yr Aifft, lle y daethoch i fyw, gan eich difetha eich hunain, a bod yn felltith ac yn warth ymysg holl genhedloedd y ddaear?
9Have ye forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, and the wickedness of the kings of Judah, and the wickedness of their wives, and your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they have committed in the land of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem?
9 A ydych wedi anghofio drygioni eich hynafiaid a drygioni brenhinoedd Jwda a drygioni eu gwragedd, a'ch drygioni chwi eich hunain a'ch gwragedd, a wnaed yn nhir Jwda ac yn heolydd Jerwsalem?
10They are not humbled even unto this day, neither have they feared, nor walked in my law, nor in my statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers.
10 Hyd heddiw nid ydych wedi ymostwng, nac ofni, na rhodio yn fy nghyfraith a'm deddfau, a roddais o'ch blaen ac o flaen eich hynafiaid.'
11Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will set my face against you for evil, and to cut off all Judah.
11 "Am hynny, fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd, Duw Israel: 'Yr wyf yn gosod fy wyneb yn eich erbyn er niwed, i ddifetha holl Jwda.
12And I will take the remnant of Judah, that have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, and they shall all be consumed, and fall in the land of Egypt; they shall even be consumed by the sword and by the famine: they shall die, from the least even unto the greatest, by the sword and by the famine: and they shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach.
12 Cymeraf weddill Jwda, a ddewisodd fynd i wlad yr Aifft i aros yno, a difethir hwy oll. Yng ngwlad yr Aifft y syrthiant; trwy gleddyf a newyn y difethir hwy; yn fach a mawr, byddant farw trwy gleddyf a newyn, a byddant yn destun melltith ac arswyd, gwawd a gwarth.
13For I will punish them that dwell in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence:
13 Cosbaf y rhai sy'n byw yng ngwlad yr Aifft, fel y cosbais Jerwsalem drwy gleddyf a newyn a haint.
14So that none of the remnant of Judah, which are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall escape or remain, that they should return into the land of Judah, to the which they have a desire to return to dwell there: for none shall return but such as shall escape.
14 Ymysg gweddill Jwda, a ddaeth i aros yng ngwlad yr Aifft, ni fydd un yn dianc nac wedi ei adael i ddychwelyd i wlad Jwda, er iddynt ddyheu am gael dychwelyd i fyw yno. Ni ddychwelant yno, ar wahn i ffoaduriaid.'"
15Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,
15 Yna atebwyd Jeremeia gan y gwu375?r a wyddai fod eu gwragedd yn arogldarthu i dduwiau eraill, a chan yr holl wragedd oedd yn sefyll gerllaw yn gynulleidfa fawr, a'r holl bobl oedd yn trigo yn Pathros yn yr Aifft.
16As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee.
16 "Nid ydym am wrando arnat," meddent, "yn y mater y lleferaist amdano wrthym yn enw'r ARGLWYDD.
17But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.
17 Yn hytrach, yr ydym am fynnu gwneud yn l pob addewid a wnaethom i ni ein hunain; yr ydym am arogldarthu i frenhines y nefoedd, a thywallt iddi ddiodoffrwm, fel y gwnaethom o'r blaen yn ninasoedd Jwda ac yn heolydd Jerwsalem, ni a'n hynafiaid, ein brenhinoedd a'n tywysogion. Yr oeddem yn cael digon o fara, a bu'n dda arnom, ac ni welsom ddrwg.
18But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine.
18 Byth er yr adeg y peidiasom ag arogldarthu i frenhines y nefoedd a thywallt diodoffrwm iddi, bu arnom eisiau pob dim, ac fe'n dinistriwyd 'r cleddyf ac newyn.
19And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men?
19 Pan oeddem yn arogldarthu i frenhines y nefoedd ac yn tywallt diodoffrwm iddi, ai heb i'n gwu375?r hefyd gymeradwyo y gwnaethom iddi deisennau ar ei llun, neu dywallt diodoffrwm iddi?"
20Then Jeremiah said unto all the people, to the men, and to the women, and to all the people which had given him that answer, saying,
20 A dywedodd Jeremeia wrth yr holl bobl, yn wu375?r ac yn wragedd, a oedd wedi rhoi iddo yr ateb hwn,
21The incense that ye burned in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, ye, and your fathers, your kings, and your princes, and the people of the land, did not the LORD remember them, and came it not into his mind?
21 "Onid yr arogldarthu a wnaethoch chwi a'ch hynafiaid, eich brenhinoedd a'ch tywysogion, a phobl y wlad yn ninasoedd Jwda a heolydd Jerwsalem yw'r peth a gofiodd yr ARGLWYDD? Oni ddaeth hyn i'w feddwl?
22So that the LORD could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings, and because of the abominations which ye have committed; therefore is your land a desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse, without an inhabitant, as at this day.
22 Ni allai'r ARGLWYDD oddef yn hwy eich gweithredoedd drwg, a'r ffieiddbeth a wnaethoch; a gwnaeth eich gwlad yn anghyfannedd, ac yn syndod ac yn felltith, heb breswylydd, fel y mae heddiw.
23Because ye have burned incense, and because ye have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD, nor walked in his law, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies; therefore this evil is happened unto you, as at this day.
23 Oherwydd ichwi arogldarthu, a phechu felly yn erbyn yr ARGLWYDD, ac am na wrandawsoch ar lais yr ARGLWYDD, na rhodio yn ei gyfraith ef, nac yn ei ddeddfau na'i dystiolaethau, oherwydd hynny y digwyddodd yr aflwydd hwn i chwi, fel y gwelir heddiw."
24Moreover Jeremiah said unto all the people, and to all the women, Hear the word of the LORD, all Judah that are in the land of Egypt:
24 Dywedodd Jeremeia wrth yr holl bobl a'r holl wragedd, "Clywch air yr ARGLWYDD, chwi holl bobl Jwda sydd yng ngwlad yr Aifft.
25Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows.
25 Fel hyn y dywed ARGLWYDD y Lluoedd, Duw Israel: 'Gwnaethoch chwi a'ch gwragedd addewid 'ch genau, a'i chyflawni 'ch dwylo, gan ddweud, "Yr ydym am gyflawni'r addunedau a addunedwyd gennym i arogldarthu i frenhines y nef a thywallt diodoffrwm iddi." Cyflawnwch, ynteu, eich addunedau, a thalwch hwy.'
26Therefore hear ye the word of the LORD, all Judah that dwell in the land of Egypt; Behold, I have sworn by my great name, saith the LORD, that my name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, The Lord GOD liveth.
26 Ond gwrandewch air yr ARGLWYDD, chwi holl bobl Jwda sy'n byw yng ngwlad yr Aifft. 'Tyngais innau i'm henw mawr,' medd yr ARGLWYDD, 'na fydd f'enw mwyach ar wefus neb o bobl Jwda yn holl wlad yr Aifft, i ddweud, "Byw fyddo'r Arglwydd DDUW".
27Behold, I will watch over them for evil, and not for good: and all the men of Judah that are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by the sword and by the famine, until there be an end of them.
27 Dyma fi'n effro i ddwyn drygioni arnynt, ac nid daioni; difethir 'r cleddyf ac newyn holl bobl Jwda sydd yng ngwlad yr Aifft, nes y bydd diwedd arnynt.
28Yet a small number that escape the sword shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah, and all the remnant of Judah, that are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall know whose words shall stand, mine, or their's.
28 A'r rhai a ddihanga rhag y cleddyf, dychwelant o wlad yr Aifft i dir Jwda yn ychydig o nifer; a chaiff holl weddill Jwda, a ddaeth i wlad yr Aifft i aros yno, ystyried gair pwy a saif, fy ngair i ynteu eu gair hwy.'
29And this shall be a sign unto you, saith the LORD, that I will punish you in this place, that ye may know that my words shall surely stand against you for evil:
29 "'Dyma'r arwydd i chwi,' medd yr ARGLWYDD: 'Cosbaf chwi yn y lle hwn er mwyn i chwi wybod fod fy ngeiriau'n sefyll yn gadarn yn eich erbyn er drwg.'
30Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give Pharaohhophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of them that seek his life; as I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, his enemy, and that sought his life.
30 Fel hyn y dywed yr ARGLWYDD: 'Yr wyf fi'n rhoi Pharo Hoffra brenin yr Aifft yn llaw ei elynion, a'r rhai sy'n ceisio'i einioes, fel y rhoddais Sedeceia brenin Jwda yn llaw Nebuchadnesar brenin Babilon, ei elyn a oedd yn ceisio'i einioes.'"
