¹And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.

¹ Cymerodd Nadab ac Abihu, meibion Aaron, bob un ei thuser a rhoi t�n ynddynt a gosod arogldarth arno; yr oeddent felly'n cyflwyno o flaen yr ARGLWYDD d�n estron nad oedd yr ARGLWYDD wedi ei orchymyn.

²And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.

² Daeth t�n allan o u373?ydd yr ARGLWYDD a'u hysu, a buont farw gerbron yr ARGLWYDD.

³Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.

³ A dywedodd Moses wrth Aaron, "Dyma'r hyn a lefarodd yr ARGLWYDD: 'Ymysg y rhai sy'n dynesu ataf fe'm sancteiddir, a cherbron yr holl bobl fe'm gogoneddir.'" Yr oedd Aaron yn fud.

⁴And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel the uncle of Aaron, and said unto them, Come near, carry your brethren from before the sanctuary out of the camp.

⁴ Galwodd Moses ar Misael ac Elsaffan, meibion Ussiel ewythr Aaron, a dywedodd wrthynt, "Dewch yma, ac ewch �'ch cefndryd allan o'r gwersyll rhag iddynt fod o flaen y cysegr."

⁵So they went near, and carried them in their coats out of the camp; as Moses had said.

⁵ Daethant hwythau a mynd � hwy yn eu gwisgoedd y tu allan i'r gwersyll, fel y gorchmynnodd Moses.

⁶And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither rend your clothes; lest ye die, and lest wrath come upon all the people: but let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the LORD hath kindled.

⁶ Yna dywedodd Moses wrth Aaron a'i feibion Eleasar ac Ithamar, "Peidiwch � noethi eich pennau na rhwygo eich dillad, rhag ichwi farw, ac i Dduw fod yn ddig wrth yr holl gynulleidfa; ond bydded i'ch pobl, sef holl du375? Israel, alaru am y rhai a losgodd yr ARGLWYDD � th�n.

⁷And ye shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: for the anointing oil of the LORD is upon you. And they did according to the word of Moses.

⁷ Peidiwch � gadael drws pabell y cyfarfod, neu byddwch farw, oherwydd y mae olew eneinio yr ARGLWYDD arnoch." Gwnaethant fel y dywedodd Moses.

⁸And the LORD spake unto Aaron, saying,

⁸ Yna dywedodd yr ARGLWYDD wrth Aaron,

⁹Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations:

⁹ "Nid wyt ti na'th feibion i yfed gwin na diod gadarn pan fyddwch yn dod i babell y cyfarfod, rhag ichwi farw. Y mae hon yn ddeddf dragwyddol dros eich cenedlaethau,

¹⁰And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;

¹⁰ er mwyn ichwi wahaniaethu rhwng sanctaidd a chyffredin, a rhwng aflan a gl�n,

¹¹And that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the LORD hath spoken unto them by the hand of Moses.

¹¹ a dysgu i bobl Israel yr holl ddeddfau a roddodd yr ARGLWYDD iddynt trwy Moses."

¹²And Moses spake unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons that were left, Take the meat offering that remaineth of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and eat it without leaven beside the altar: for it is most holy:

¹² Dywedodd Moses wrth Aaron ac wrth Eleasar ac Ithamar, y meibion a adawyd, "Cymerwch y bwydoffrwm sy'n weddill o'r offrymau trwy d�n a wnaed i'r ARGLWYDD, a'i fwyta heb furum wrth ymyl yr allor, oherwydd y mae'n gwbl sanctaidd.

¹³And ye shall eat it in the holy place, because it is thy due, and thy sons' due, of the sacrifices of the LORD made by fire: for so I am commanded.

¹³ Bwytewch ef mewn lle sanctaidd, gan mai dyna dy gyfran di a chyfran dy feibion o'r offrymau trwy d�n i'r ARGLWYDD, oherwydd fel hyn y gorchmynnais.

¹⁴And the wave breast and heave shoulder shall ye eat in a clean place; thou, and thy sons, and thy daughters with thee: for they be thy due, and thy sons' due, which are given out of the sacrifices of peace offerings of the children of Israel.

¹⁴ Yr wyt ti, dy feibion a'th ferched i fwyta brest yr offrwm cyhwfan a chlun y cyfraniad mewn lle dihalog, oherwydd fe'u rhoddwyd i ti a'th blant yn gyfran o heddoffrymau pobl Israel.

¹⁵The heave shoulder and the wave breast shall they bring with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to wave it for a wave offering before the LORD; and it shall be thine, and thy sons' with thee, by a statute for ever; as the LORD hath commanded.

¹⁵ Deuer � chlun y cyfraniad a brest yr offrwm cyhwfan, gyda'r rhannau bras o'r offrymau trwy d�n, i'w chwifio o flaen yr ARGLWYDD yn offrwm cyhwfan. Bydd hyn yn gyfran reolaidd i ti a'th blant, fel y gorchmynnodd yr ARGLWYDD."

¹⁶And Moses diligently sought the goat of the sin offering, and, behold, it was burnt: and he was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron which were left alive, saying,

¹⁶ Pan ymholodd Moses am fwch yr aberth dros bechod, cafodd ei fod wedi ei losgi; a bu'n ddig iawn wrth Eleasar ac Ithamar, y meibion a adawyd i Aaron. Gofynnodd,

¹⁷Wherefore have ye not eaten the sin offering in the holy place, seeing it is most holy, and God hath given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the LORD?

¹⁷ "Pam na fu ichwi fwyta'r aberth dros bechod yng nghyffiniau'r cysegr, gan ei fod yn gwbl sanctaidd ac iddo gael ei roi i chwi i ddwyn camwedd y gynulleidfa trwy wneud cymod drostynt gerbron yr ARGLWYDD?

¹⁸Behold, the blood of it was not brought in within the holy place: ye should indeed have eaten it in the holy place, as I commanded.

¹⁸ Wele, ni ddygwyd ei waed i mewn i'r cysegr mewnol; yn sicr dylech fod wedi bwyta'r bwch yn y cysegr, fel y gorchmynnais."

¹⁹And Aaron said unto Moses, Behold, this day have they offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the LORD; and such things have befallen me: and if I had eaten the sin offering to day, should it have been accepted in the sight of the LORD?

¹⁹ Dywedodd Aaron wrth Moses, "Y maent heddiw wedi cyflwyno o flaen yr ARGLWYDD eu haberth dros bechod a'u poethoffrwm, ac y mae'r fath bethau wedi digwydd i mi! A fyddai'n dderbyniol gan yr ARGLWYDD pe bawn wedi bwyta'r aberth dros bechod heddiw?"

²⁰And when Moses heard that, he was content.

²⁰ Pan glywodd Moses hyn, bu'n fodlon.
