1The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.
1 Y diwrnod hwnnw aeth Iesu allan o'r tu375? ac eisteddodd ar lan y mr.
2And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.
2 Daeth tyrfaoedd mawr ynghyd ato, nes iddo fynd ac eistedd mewn cwch, ac yr oedd yr holl dyrfa yn sefyll ar y lan.
3And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;
3 Fe lefarodd lawer wrthynt ar ddamhegion, gan ddweud: "Aeth heuwr allan i hau.
4And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:
4 Ac wrth iddo hau, syrthiodd peth had ar hyd y llwybr, a daeth yr adar a'i fwyta.
5Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:
5 Syrthiodd peth arall ar leoedd creigiog, lle ni chafodd fawr o bridd, a thyfodd yn gyflym am nad oedd iddo ddyfnder daear.
6And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.
6 Ond wedi i'r haul godi fe'i llosgwyd, ac am nad oedd iddo wreiddyn fe wywodd.
7And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:
7 Syrthiodd hadau eraill ymhlith y drain, a thyfodd y drain a'u tagu.
8But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
8 A syrthiodd eraill ar dir da a ffrwytho, peth ganwaith cymaint, a pheth drigain, a pheth ddeg ar hugain.
9Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
9 Y sawl sydd chlustiau ganddo, gwrandawed."
10And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
10 Daeth y disgyblion a dweud wrtho, "Pam yr wyt yn siarad wrthynt ar ddamhegion?"
11He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
11 Atebodd yntau, "I chwi y mae gwybod cyfrinachau teyrnas nefoedd wedi ei roi, ond iddynt hwy nis rhoddwyd.
12For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
12 Oherwydd i'r sawl y mae ganddo y rhoir, a bydd ganddo fwy na digon; ond oddi ar yr sawl nad oes ganddo y dygir hyd yn oed hynny sydd ganddo.
13Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
13 Am hynny yr wyf yn siarad wrthynt ar ddamhegion; oherwydd er iddynt edrych nid ydynt yn gweld, ac er iddynt wrando nid ydynt yn clywed nac yn deall.
14And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
14 A chyflawnir ynddynt hwy y broffwydoliaeth gan Eseia sy'n dweud: 'Er clywed a chlywed, ni ddeallwch ddim; er edrych ac edrych, ni welwch ddim.
15For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
15 Canys brasawyd calon y bobl yma, y mae eu clyw yn drwm, a'u llygaid wedi cau; rhag iddynt weld 'u llygaid, a chlywed 'u clustiau, a deall 'u calon, a throi'n l, i mi eu hiachu.'
16But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.
16 Ond gwyn eu byd eich llygaid chwi am eu bod yn gweld, a'ch clustiau chwi am eu bod yn clywed.
17For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.
17 Yn wir, 'rwy'n dweud wrthych fod llawer o broffwydi a rhai cyfiawn wedi dyheu am weld y pethau yr ydych chwi yn eu gweld, ac nis gwelsant, a chlywed y pethau yr ydych chwi yn eu clywed, ac nis clywsant.
18Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
18 "Gwrandewch chwithau felly ar ddameg yr heuwr.
19When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
19 Pan fydd unrhyw un yn clywed gair y deyrnas heb ei ddeall, daw'r Un drwg a chipio'r hyn a heuwyd yn ei galon. Dyma'r un sy'n derbyn yr had ar hyd y llwybr.
20But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
20 A'r un sy'n derbyn yr had ar leoedd creigiog, dyma'r un sy'n clywed y gair ac yn ei dderbyn ar ei union yn llawen.
21Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
21 Ond nid oes ganddo wreiddyn ynddo'i hunan, a thros dro y mae'n para; pan ddaw gorthrymder neu erlid o achos y gair, fe gwymp ar unwaith.
22He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
22 Yr un sy'n derbyn yr had ymhlith y drain, dyma'r un sy'n clywed y gair, ond y mae gofal y byd hwn a hudoliaeth golud yn tagu'r gair, ac y mae'n mynd yn ddiffrwyth.
23But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
23 A'r un sy'n derbyn yr had ar dir da, dyma'r un sy'n clywed y gair ac yn ei ddeall, ac yn dwyn ffrwyth ac yn rhoi peth ganwaith cymaint, a pheth drigain, a pheth ddeg ar hugain."
24Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
24 Cyflwynodd Iesu ddameg arall iddynt: "Y mae teyrnas nefoedd yn debyg i ddyn a heuodd had da yn ei faes.
25But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
25 Ond pan oedd pawb yn cysgu, daeth ei elyn a hau efrau ymysg yr u375?d a mynd ymaith.
26But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
26 Pan eginodd y cnwd a dwyn ffrwyth, yna ymddangosodd yr efrau hefyd.
27So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
27 Daeth gweision gu373?r y tu375? a dweud wrtho, 'Syr, onid had da a heuaist yn dy faes? O ble felly y daeth efrau iddo?'
28He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
28 Atebodd yntau, 'Gelyn a wnaeth hyn.' Meddai'r gweision wrtho, 'A wyt am i ni fynd allan a chasglu'r efrau?'
29But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
29 'Na,' meddai ef, 'wrth gasglu'r efrau fe allwch ddiwreiddio'r u375?d gyda hwy.
30Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
30 Gadewch i'r ddau dyfu gyda'i gilydd hyd y cynhaeaf, ac yn amser y cynhaeaf dywedaf wrth y medelwyr, "Casglwch yr efrau yn gyntaf, a rhwymwch hwy'n sypynnau i'w llosgi, ond crynhowch yr u375?d i'm hysgubor."'"
31Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
31 A dyma ddameg arall a gyflwynodd iddynt: "Y mae teyrnas nefoedd yn debyg i hedyn mwstard, a gymerodd rhywun a'i hau yn ei faes.
32Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.
32 Dyma'r lleiaf o'r holl hadau, ond wedi iddo dyfu, ef yw'r mwyaf o'r holl lysiau, a daw yn goeden, fel bod adar yr awyr yn dod ac yn nythu yn ei changhennau."
33Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
33 Llefarodd ddameg arall wrthynt: "Y mae teyrnas nefoedd yn debyg i lefain; y mae gwraig yn ei gymryd, ac yn ei gymysgu thri mesur o flawd gwenith, nes lefeinio'r cwbl."
34All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:
34 Dywedodd Iesu'r holl bethau hyn ar ddamhegion wrth y tyrfaoedd; heb ddameg ni fyddai'n llefaru dim wrthynt,
35That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
35 fel y cyflawnid y gair a lefarwyd trwy'r proffwyd: "Agoraf fy ngenau ar ddamhegion, traethaf bethau sy'n guddiedig er seiliad y byd."
36Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
36 Yna, wedi gollwng y tyrfaoedd, daeth i'r tu375?. A daeth ei ddisgyblion ato a dweud, "Eglura i ni ddameg yr efrau yn y maes."
37He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
37 Dywedodd yntau, "Yr un sy'n hau'r had da yw Mab y Dyn.
38The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
38 Y maes yw'r byd. Yr had da yw plant y deyrnas; yr efrau yw plant yr Un drwg,
39The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
39 a'r gelyn a'u heuodd yw'r diafol; y cynhaeaf yw diwedd amser, a'r medelwyr yw'r angylion.
40As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
40 Yn union fel y cesglir yr efrau a'u llosgi yn y tn, felly y bydd yn niwedd amser.
41The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
41 Bydd Mab y Dyn yn anfon ei angylion, a byddant yn casglu allan o'i deyrnas ef bopeth sy'n peri tramgwydd, a'r rhai sy'n gwneud anghyfraith,
42And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
42 a byddant yn eu taflu i'r ffwrnais danllyd; bydd yno wylo a rhincian dannedd.
43Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
43 Yna bydd y rhai cyfiawn yn disgleirio fel yr haul yn nheyrnas eu Tad. Y sawl sydd chlustiau ganddo, gwrandawed.
44Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
44 "Y mae teyrnas nefoedd yn debyg i drysor wedi ei guddio mewn maes; pan ddaeth rhywun o hyd iddo, fe'i cuddiodd, ac yn ei lawenydd y mae'n mynd ac yn gwerthu'r cwbl sydd ganddo, ac yn prynu'r maes hwnnw.
45Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
45 "Eto y mae teyrnas nefoedd yn debyg i fasnachwr sy'n chwilio am berlau gwych.
46Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
46 Wedi iddo ddarganfod un perl gwerthfawr, aeth i ffwrdd a gwerthu'r cwbl oedd ganddo, a'i brynu.
47Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:
47 "Eto y mae teyrnas nefoedd yn debyg i rwyd a fwriwyd i'r mr ac a ddaliodd bysgod o bob math.
48Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.
48 Pan oedd yn llawn, tynnodd dynion hi i'r lan ac eistedd i lawr a chasglu'r rhai da i lestri a thaflu'r rhai gwael i ffwrdd.
49So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,
49 Felly y bydd yn niwedd amser; bydd yr angylion yn mynd allan ac yn gwahanu'r drwg o blith y cyfiawn,
50And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
50 ac yn eu taflu i'r ffwrnais danllyd; bydd yno wylo a rhincian dannedd.
51Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.
51 "A ydych wedi deall yr holl bethau hyn?" Dywedasant wrtho, "Ydym."
52Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
52 "Am hynny," meddai ef wrthynt, "y mae pob ysgrifennydd a ddaeth yn ddisgybl yn nheyrnas nefoedd yn debyg i berchen tu375? sydd yn dwyn allan o'i drysorfa bethau newydd a hen."
53And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed thence.
53 Pan orffennodd Iesu'r damhegion hyn, aeth oddi yno.
54And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?
54 Ac wedi dod i fro ei febyd, yr oedd yn dysgu yn eu synagog hwy, nes iddynt synnu a dweud, "O ble y cafodd hwn y ddoethineb hon a'r gweithredoedd nerthol hyn?
55Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
55 Onid mab y saer yw hwn? Onid Mair yw enw ei fam ef, ac Iago a Joseff a Simon a Jwdas yn frodyr iddo?
56And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
56 Ac onid yw ei chwiorydd i gyd yma gyda ni? O ble felly y cafodd hwn yr holl bethau hyn?"
57And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.
57 Yr oedd ef yn peri tramgwydd iddynt. Dywedodd Iesu wrthynt, "Nid yw proffwyd heb anrhydedd ond yn ei fro ei hun ac yn ei gartref."
58And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
58 Ac ni wnaeth lawer o wyrthiau yno o achos eu hanghrediniaeth.
