¹Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

¹ Yn wyneb hyn, yr wyt ti sy'n eistedd mewn barn, pwy bynnag wyt, yn ddiesgus. Oherwydd, wrth farnu rhywun arall, yr wyt yn dy gollfarnu dy hun, gan dy fod ti, sy'n barnu, yn cyflawni'r un troseddau.

²But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.

² Fe wyddom fod barn Duw ar y sawl sy'n cyflawni'r fath droseddau yn gwbl gywir.

³And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

³ Ond a wyt ti, yr un sy'n eistedd mewn barn ar y rhai sy'n cyflawni'r fath droseddau, ac yn eu gwneud dy hun, a wyt ti'n tybied y cei di ddianc rhag barn Duw?

⁴Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

⁴ Neu, ai dibris gennyt yw cyfoeth ei diriondeb a'i ymatal a'i amynedd? A fynni di beidio � gweld mai amcan tiriondeb Duw yw dy ddwyn i edifeirwch?

⁵But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

⁵ Wrth ddilyn ystyfnigrwydd dy galon ddiedifar, yr wyt yn casglu i ti dy hunan st�r o ddigofaint yn Nydd digofaint, Dydd datguddio barn gyfiawn Duw.

⁶Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

⁶ Bydd ef yn talu i bawb yn �l eu gweithredoedd:

⁷To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

⁷ bywyd tragwyddol i'r rhai sy'n dal ati i wneud daioni, gan geisio gogoniant, anrhydedd ac anfarwoldeb;

⁸But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

⁸ ond digofaint a dicter i'r rheini a ysgogir gan gymhellion hunanol i fod yn ufudd, nid i'r gwirionedd, ond i anghyfiawnder.

⁹Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

⁹ Gorthrymder ac ing fydd i bob bod dynol sy'n gwneud drygioni, i'r Iddewon yn gyntaf a hefyd i'r Groegiaid;

¹⁰But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

¹⁰ ond gogoniant ac anrhydedd a thangnefedd fydd i bob un sy'n gwneud daioni, i'r Iddewon yn gyntaf a hefyd i'r Groegiaid.

¹¹For there is no respect of persons with God.

¹¹ Nid oes ffafriaeth gerbron Duw.

¹²For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

¹² Caiff pawb a bechodd heb y Gyfraith drengi hefyd heb y Gyfraith, a chaiff pawb a bechodd dan y Gyfraith eu barnu trwy'r Gyfraith.

¹³(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

¹³ Nid y rhai sy'n gwrando'r Gyfraith a geir yn gyfiawn gerbron Duw. Na, y rhai sy'n cadw'r Gyfraith a ddyfernir yn gyfiawn ganddo ef.

¹⁴For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:

¹⁴ Pan yw Cenhedloedd sydd heb y Gyfraith yn cadw gofynion y Gyfraith wrth reddf, y maent, gan eu bod heb y Gyfraith, yn gyfraith iddynt eu hunain.

¹⁵Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

¹⁵ Y maent yn dangos bod yr hyn a ofynnir gan y Gyfraith wedi ei ysgrifennu yn eu calonnau, gan fod eu cydwybod yn cyd-dystiolaethu �'r Gyfraith, ac felly y mae eu meddyliau weithiau'n eu cyhuddo, ac weithiau hefyd yn eu hamddiffyn.

¹⁶In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

¹⁶ Yn �l yr Efengyl yr wyf fi'n ei phregethu, felly y bydd yn y Dydd pan fydd Duw yn barnu meddyliau cuddiedig pawb trwy Grist Iesu.

¹⁷Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,

¹⁷ Amdanat ti, fe ddichon dy fod yn cario'r enw "Iddew", yn pwyso ar y Gyfraith, yn ymffrostio yn Nuw,

¹⁸And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;

¹⁸ yn gwybod ei ewyllys, ac oherwydd dy hyfforddi yn y Gyfraith yn gallu canfod yr hyn sy'n rhagori.

¹⁹And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,

¹⁹ Fe ddichon dy fod yn argyhoeddedig dy fod yn arweinydd i'r dall, yn oleuni i'r rhai sydd mewn tywyllwch,

²⁰An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.

²⁰ yn disgyblu'r ff�l, yn dysgu'r ifanc, a hynny am fod gennyt yn y Gyfraith holl gynnwys gwybodaeth a gwirionedd.

²¹Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?

²¹ Os felly, ti sy'n dysgu arall, oni'th ddysgi dy hun? A wyt ti, sy'n pregethu yn erbyn lladrata, yn lleidr?

²²Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?

²² A wyt ti, sy'n llefaru yn erbyn godinebu, yn odinebus? A wyt ti, sy'n ffieiddio eilunod, yn ysbeilio temlau?

²³Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?

²³ A wyt ti, sy'n ymffrostio yn y Gyfraith, yn dwyn gwarth ar Dduw trwy dorri ei Gyfraith?

²⁴For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.

²⁴ Fel y mae'r Ysgrythur yn dweud, "O'ch achos chwi, ceblir enw Duw ymhlith y Cenhedloedd."

²⁵For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.

²⁵ Yn ddiau y mae gwerth i enwaediad, os wyt yn cadw'r Gyfraith. Ond os torri'r Gyfraith yr wyt ti, y mae dy enwaediad wedi mynd yn ddienwaediad.

²⁶Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?

²⁶ Os yw'r sawl nad enwaedwyd arno yn cadw gorchmynion y Gyfraith, oni fydd Duw yn cyfrif ei ddienwaediad yn enwaediad?

²⁷And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?

²⁷ Bydd y dienwaededig ei gorff, os yw'n cyflawni'r Gyfraith, yn farnwr arnat ti, sydd yn droseddwr y Gyfraith er bod gennyt gyfraith ysgrifenedig a'r enwaediad.

²⁸For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

²⁸ Nid Iddew mo'r Iddew sydd yn y golwg. Nid enwaediad chwaith mo'r enwaediad sydd yn y golwg yn y cnawd.

²⁹But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

²⁹ Y gwir Iddew yw'r Iddew cuddiedig, a'r gwir enwaediad yw enwaediad y galon, peth ysbrydol, nid llythrennol. Dyma'r un sy'n cael clod, nid gan bobl eraill, ond gan Dduw.
