1And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
1და მოუწოდა ათორმეტთა მოწაფეთა თჳსთა და მისცა მათ ჴელმწიფებაჲ სულთა ზედა არაწმიდათა, რაჲთა განასხმიდენ მათ და განჰკურნებდენ ყოველთა სენთა და ყოველთა უძლურებათა.
2Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
2ხოლო ათორმეტთა მათ მოციქულთა სახელები ესე არს: პირველად სიმონ, რომელსა ეწოდა პეტრე, და ანდრეა, ძმაჲ მისი, იაკობ ზებედესი და იოვანე, ძმაჲ მისი,
3Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
3ფილიპე და ბართლომე, თომა და მატთეოს მეზუერე, იაკობ ალფესი და ლებეოს, რომელსა ეწოდა თადეოს,
4Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
4სიმონ კანანელი და იუდა ისკარიოტელი, რომელმანცა განსცა იგი.
5These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
5ესე ათორმეტნი წარავლინნა იესუ, ამცნო მათ და ჰრქუა: გზასა წარმართთასა ნუ მიხუალთ და ქალაქსა სამარიტელთასა ნუ შეხუალთ,
6But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
6არამედ მივედით უფროჲს ხოლო ცხოვართა მათ წარწყმედულთა სახლისა ისრაჱლისათა.
7And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
7და მი-რაჲ-ხჳდეთ, ქადაგებდით და იტყოდეთ, ვითარმედ: მოახლებულ არს სასუფეველი ცათაჲ.
8Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
8უძლურთა განჰკურნებდით, მკუდართა აღადგინებდით, კეთროვანთა განსწმედდით, ეშმაკთა განასხემდით; უსასყიდლოდ მიგიღებიეს, უსასყიდლოდ მისცემდით.
9Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,
9ნუ მოიგებთ ოქროსა, ნუცა ვეცხლსა, ნუცა რვალსა სარტყელთა თქუენთა,
10Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
10ნუცა ვაშკარანსა გზასა ზედა, ნუცა ორსა სამოსელსა, ნუცა ჴამლთა, ნუცა კეურთხსა, რამეთუ ღირს არს მუშაკი სასყიდლისა თჳსისა.
11And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.
11რომელსა ქალაქსა ანუ დაბასა შეხჳდეთ, გამოიკითხეთ; ვინ ღირს იყოს, მუნ დაადგერით ვიდრე გამოსლვადმდე.
12And when ye come into an house, salute it.
12და შე-რაჲ-ხჳდოდით სახლსა მას, მოიკითხეთ იგი და თქუთ: მშჳდობაჲ სახლსა ამას!
13And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.
13და უკუეთუ სახლი იგი ღირს იყოს, მოვიდეს მშჳდობაჲ თქუენი მას ზედა; უკუეთუ არა ღირს იყოს, მშჳდობაჲ თქუენი თქუენდავე მოიქეცინ.
14And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
14და უკუეთუ არავინ შეგიწყნარნეს თქუენ და არცა ისმინნეს სიტყუანი თქუენნი, გამო-რაჲ-ხჳდოდით მიერ სახლით გინა მიერ ქალაქით, განიყარეთ მტუერი ფერჴთა თქუენთაჲ.
15Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
15ამენ გეტყჳ თქუენ: უმოლხინეს იყოს ქუეყანაჲ იგი სოდომისაჲ და გომორისაჲ დღესა მას სასჯელისასა, ვიდრე ქალაქი იგი.
16Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
16აჰა მე მიგავლინებ თქუენ, ვითარცა ცხოვართა შორის მგელთა. იყვენით უკუე მეცნიერ, ვითარცა გუელნი, და უმანკო, ვითარცა ტრედნი.
17But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
17ეკრძალებოდეთ კაცთაგან, რამეთუ მიგცემდენ თქუენ კრებულსა და შორის შესაკრებელთა მათთა გტანჯვიდენ თქუენ.
18And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
18და წინაშე მთავართა და მეფეთა მიგიყვანნენ თქუენ ჩემთჳს საწამებელად მათდა და წარმართთა.
19But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
19და რაჟამს მიგცნენ თქუენ, ნუ ჰზრუნავთ, ვითარ ანუ რასა იტყოდით, რამეთუ მოგეცეს თქუენ მას ჟამსა შინა, რასა-იგი იტყოდით.
20For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
20რამეთუ არა თქუენ იყვნეთ მეტყუელნი, არამედ სული მამისა თქუენისაჲ, რომელი იტყოდის თქუენ შორის.
21And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
21რამეთუ მისცეს ძმამან ძმაჲ სიკუდილდ და მამამან - შვილი; და აღდგენ შვილნი მამა-დედათა ზედა და მოჰკლვიდენ მათ.
22And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
22და იყვნეთ თქუენ მოძულებულ ყოველთაგან სახელისა ჩემისათჳს. ხოლო რომელმან დაითმინოს სრულიად, იგი ცხოვნდეს.
23But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
23რაჟამს გდევნიდენ თქუენ ამიერ ქალაქით, მიივლტოდეთ სხუად. ამენ გეტყჳ თქუენ: ვერ დაასრულოთ ქალაქები ისრაჱლისაჲ, ვიდრემდის ძე კაცისაჲ მოვიდეს.
24The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
24არა არს მოწაფე უფროჲს მოძღურისა თჳსისა, არცა მონაჲ უფროჲს უფლისა თჳსისა.
25It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
25კმა არს მოწფისა მის, უკუეთუ იყოს, ვითარცა მოძღუარი თჳსი, და მონაჲ იგი, ვითარცა უფალი თჳსი. უკუეთუ სახლისა უფალსა ბელზებულით ჰხადოდეს, რაოდენ უფროჲს სახლეულთა მისთა?
26Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
26ნუუკუე გეშინინ მათგან, რამეთუ არა არს დაფარული, რომელი არა გამოჩნდეს, და არცა საიდუმლოჲ, რომელი არა გამოცხადნეს.
27What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
27რომელი გარქუ თქუენ ბნელსა შინა, თქუენ თქუთ ნათელსა შინა; და რომელი ყურთა გესმა, ქადაგებდით ერდოთა ზედა.
28And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
28და ნუ გეშინინ მათგან, რომელთა მოსწყჳდნენ ჴორცნი, ხოლო სულისა ვერ ჴელ-ეწიფების მოკლვად. არამედ გეშინოდენ მისა უფროჲს, რომელი შემძლებელ არს სულისა და ჴორცთა წარწყმედად გეჰენიასა შინა.
29Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
29ანუ არა ორი სირი ასარის განისყიდებისა? და ერთიცა მათგანი არა დავარდების ქუეყანასა ზედა თჳნიერ მამისა თქუენისა.
30But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
30ხოლო თქუენნი თავისა თმანიცა ყოველნი განრაცხილ არიან.
31Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
31ნუ გეშინინ, რამეთუ მრავალთა სირთა უმჯობეს ხართ თქუენ.
32Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
32ყოველმან რომელმან აღიაროს ჩემდამო წინაშე კაცთა, მეცა აღვიარო იგი წინაშე მამისა ჩემისა ზეცათაჲსა.
33But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
33და რომელმან უვარ-მყოს მე წინაშე კაცთა, უვარ-ვყო იგი მეცა წინაშე მამისა ჩემისა ზეცათაჲსა.
34Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
34ნუ ჰგონებთ, ვითარმედ მოვედ მე მიფენად მშჳდობისა ქუეყანასა ზედა; არა მოვედ მიფენად მშჳდობისა, არამედ მახჳლისა.
35For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
35რამეთუ მოვედ განყოფად კაცისა მამისაგან თჳსისა და ასული - დედისაგან თჳსისა და სძალი - დედამთილისაგან თჳსისა.
36And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
36და მტერ იყვნენ კაცისა სახლეულნი თჳსნი.
37He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
37რომელსა უყუარდეს მამაჲ ანუ დედაჲ უფროჲს ჩემსა, არა არს იგი ჩემდა ღირს; და რომელსა უყუარდეს ძე ანუ ასული უფროჲს ჩემსა, იგი არა არს ჩემდა ღირს.
38And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
38და რომელმან არა აღიღოს ჯუარი თჳსი და შემომიდგეს მე, იგი არა არს ჩემდა ღირს.
39He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
39რომელმან მოიპოოს სული თჳსი, წარიწყმიდოს იგი; და რომელმან წარიწყმიდოს სული თჳსი ჩემთჳს, მან პოოს იგი.
40He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
40რომელმან შეგიწყნარნეს თქუენ, მე შემიწყნარა; და რომელმან მე შემიწყნაროს, შეიწყნაროს მომავლინებელი ჩემი.
41He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.
41რომელმან შეიწყნაროს წინასწარმეტყუელი სახელად წინასწარმეტყუელისა, სასყიდელი წინასწარმეტყუელისაჲ მიიღოს; და რომელმან შეიწყნაროს მართალი სახელად მართლისა, სასყიდელი მართლისაჲ მიიღოს.
42And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
42და რომელმან ასუას ერთსა მცირეთაგანსა სასუმელი ერთი წყალი გრილი სახელად მოწფისა, ამენ გეტყჳ თქუენ, არა წარუწყმდეს სასყიდელი მისი.
