¹Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto the LORD thy God: for in the month of Abib the LORD thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.

¹Beobachte den Monat Abib, daß du dem HERRN, deinem Gott, das Passah feierst; denn im Monat Abib hat dich der HERR, dein Gott, bei Nacht aus Ägypten geführt.

²Thou shalt therefore sacrifice the passover unto the LORD thy God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which the LORD shall choose to place his name there.

²Und du sollst dem HERRN, deinem Gott, als Passah Rinder und Schafe opfern an dem Ort, den der HERR erwählen wird, daß sein Name daselbst wohne.

³Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the land of Egypt all the days of thy life.

³Du sollst kein gesäuertes Brot an diesem Feste essen. Du sollst sieben Tage lang ungesäuertes Brot des Elends essen, denn du bist in eiliger Flucht aus Ägyptenland gezogen; darum sollst du dein Leben lang an den Tag deines Auszugs aus Ägyptenland denken!

⁴And there shall be no leavened bread seen with thee in all thy coast seven days; neither shall there any thing of the flesh, which thou sacrificedst the first day at even, remain all night until the morning.

⁴Und es soll sieben Tage lang kein Sauerteig in allen deinen Landmarken gesehen werden, und soll auch nichts von dem Fleische, das am Abend des ersten Tages geschlachtet worden ist, über Nacht bleiben bis zum Morgen.

⁵Thou mayest not sacrifice the passover within any of thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee:

⁵Du darfst das Passah nicht schlachten in irgend einem deiner Tore, die der HERR, dein Gott, dir gegeben hat;

⁶But at the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt.

⁶sondern an dem Ort, den der HERR, dein Gott, erwählen wird, daß sein Name daselbst wohne, daselbst sollst du das Passah schlachten am Abend, wenn die Sonne untergeht, zu eben der Zeit, als du aus Ägypten zogest.

⁷And thou shalt roast and eat it in the place which the LORD thy God shall choose: and thou shalt turn in the morning, and go unto thy tents.

⁷Und du sollst es braten und an dem Ort essen, den der HERR, dein Gott, erwählt hat, und sollst am Morgen umkehren und wieder zu deiner Hütte gehen.

⁸Six days thou shalt eat unleavened bread: and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no work therein.

⁸Sechs Tage lang sollst du Ungesäuertes essen; und am siebenten Tage ist der Versammlungstag des HERRN, deines Gottes; da sollst du kein Werk tun.

⁹Seven weeks shalt thou number unto thee: begin to number the seven weeks from such time as thou beginnest to put the sickle to the corn.

⁹Sieben Wochen sollst du dir abzählen; wenn man anfängt, die Sichel an die Saat zu legen, sollst du anheben, die sieben Wochen zu zählen.

¹⁰And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto the LORD thy God with a tribute of a freewill offering of thine hand, which thou shalt give unto the LORD thy God, according as the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:

¹⁰Darnach sollst du dem HERRN, deinem Gott, das Fest der Wochen halten und ein freiwilliges Opfer von deiner Hand geben, je nach dem der HERR, dein Gott, dich gesegnet hat.

¹¹And thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that is within thy gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to place his name there.

¹¹Und du sollst fröhlich sein vor dem HERRN, deinem Gott, du und dein Sohn und deine Tochter und dein Knecht und deine Magd und der Levit, der in deinen Toren ist, und der Fremdling und die Waise und die Witwe, die unter dir sind, an dem Ort, den der HERR, dein Gott, erwählen wird, daß sein Name daselbst wohne.

¹²And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt: and thou shalt observe and do these statutes.

¹²Und bedenke, daß du in Ägypten ein Knecht gewesen bist, daß du diese Satzungen beobachtest und tuest!

¹³Thou shalt observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that thou hast gathered in thy corn and thy wine:

¹³Das Fest der Laubhütten sollst du sieben Tage lang halten, wenn du den Ertrag deiner Tenne und deiner Kelter eingesammelt hast.

¹⁴And thou shalt rejoice in thy feast, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within thy gates.

¹⁴Und du sollst an deinem Feste fröhlich sein, du und dein Sohn und deine Tochter und dein Knecht und deine Magd und der Levit und der Fremdling und die Waise und die Witwe, die in deinen Toren sind.

¹⁵Seven days shalt thou keep a solemn feast unto the LORD thy God in the place which the LORD shall choose: because the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thine increase, and in all the works of thine hands, therefore thou shalt surely rejoice.

¹⁵Sieben Tage lang sollst du dem HERRN, deinem Gott, das Fest halten an dem Ort, den der HERR erwählt hat; denn der HERR, dein Gott, wird dich segnen im ganzen Ertrag deiner Ernte und in allen Werken deiner Hände; darum sollst du fröhlich sein.

¹⁶Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:

¹⁶Dreimal im Jahre sollen alle deine männlichen Personen vor dem HERRN, deinem Gott, erscheinen an dem Ort, den er erwählen wird, nämlich am Fest der ungesäuerten Brote und am Fest der Wochen und am Fest der Laubhütten. Aber niemand soll mit leeren Händen vor dem HERRN erscheinen,

¹⁷Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee.

¹⁷sondern ein jeder mit einer Gabe seiner Hand, je nach dem Segen, den der HERR, dein Gott, dir gegeben hat.

¹⁸Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment.

¹⁸Du sollst dir Richter und Amtleute einsetzen in allen deinen Toren, die der HERR, dein Gott, dir unter deinen Stämmen geben wird, damit sie das Volk richten mit gerechtem Gericht.

¹⁹Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous.

¹⁹Du sollst das Recht nicht beugen. Du sollst auch keine Person ansehen und keine Geschenke nehmen, denn die Geschenke verblenden die Augen der Weisen und verkehren die Worte der Gerechten.

²⁰That which is altogether just shalt thou follow, that thou mayest live, and inherit the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

²⁰Der Gerechtigkeit, ja der Gerechtigkeit jage nach, daß du leben und das Land besitzen mögest, das der HERR, dein Gott, dir geben wird.

²¹Thou shalt not plant thee a grove of any trees near unto the altar of the LORD thy God, which thou shalt make thee.

²¹Du sollst dir kein Astartenbild von irgendwelchem Holz aufstellen bei dem Altar des HERRN, deines Gottes, den du dir machst,

²²Neither shalt thou set thee up any image; which the LORD thy God hateth.

²²und du sollst dir auch keine Säule aufrichten; solches haßt der HERR, dein Gott.
