1And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
1Und als es das siebente Siegel öffnete, entstand eine Stille im Himmel, von etwa einer halben Stunde.
2And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.
2Und ich sah die sieben Engel, die vor Gott stehen; und es wurden ihnen sieben Posaunen gegeben.
3And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
3Und ein anderer Engel kam und stellte sich an den Altar, der hatte eine goldene Räucherpfanne; und ihm wurde viel Räucherwerk gegeben, damit er es mitsamt den Gebeten aller Heiligen auf den goldenen Altar gäbe, der vor dem Throne ist.
4And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.
4Und der Rauch des Räucherwerks stieg mit den Gebeten der Heiligen aus der Hand des Engels auf vor Gott.
5And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
5Und der Engel nahm die Räucherpfanne und füllte sie mit Feuer vom Altar und warf sie auf die Erde; und es entstanden Stimmen und Donner und Blitze und Erdbeben.
6And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
6Und die sieben Engel, welche die sieben Posaunen hatten, machten sich bereit zu posaunen.
7The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
7Und der erste Engel posaunte, und es entstand Hagel und Feuer, mit Blut vermischt, und wurde auf die Erde geworfen; und der dritte Teil der Erde verbrannte, und der dritte Teil der Bäume verbrannte, und alles grüne Gras verbrannte.
8And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
8Und der zweite Engel posaunte, und es wurde etwas wie ein großer feuerspeiender Berg ins Meer geworfen; und der dritte Teil des Meeres wurde zu Blut,
9And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
9und der dritte Teil der Geschöpfe im Meer, welche Seelen haben, starb, und der dritte Teil der Schiffe ging zugrunde.
10And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
10Und der dritte Engel posaunte; da fiel ein großer Stern vom Himmel, brennend wie eine Fackel, und er fiel auf den dritten Teil der Flüsse und auf die Wasserquellen;
11And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
11und der Name des Sternes heißt Wermut. Und der dritte Teil der Gewässer wurde zu Wermut, und viele der Menschen starben von den Gewässern, weil sie bitter geworden waren.
12And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.
12Und der vierte Engel posaunte; da wurde der dritte Teil der Sonne und der dritte Teil des Mondes und der dritte Teil der Sterne geschlagen, damit der dritte Teil derselben verfinstert würde und der Tag ohne Beleuchtung sei seinen dritten Teil, und die Nacht in gleicher Weise.
13And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
13Und ich sah und hörte einen Adler, der in der Mitte des Himmels flog und mit lauter Stimme rief: Wehe, wehe, wehe denen, die auf Erden wohnen, wegen der übrigen Posaunenstimmen der drei Engel, die noch posaunen sollen!
